Our family has been going to Toi Shan since 1994.We have eaten Chinese food in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong and many other cities in Asia along with some of the best Chinese restaurants in the UK, other parts of Europe and North America.Toi Shan is still our favorite for quality of food and about one fifth the price of what it cost in London England.When I read the long negative comment on this site, the first thing that came to my mind is it may of been written by their competition...read full review
I have driven by it for years, but was interested in Chinese food and trying someplace different. It was not busy, so service was prompt. The serving size for the 4 person combo had more than we could eat, so we took home our next day lunch. Food quality was good - Cantonese style. No complaints at all. They appear to be very busy for take out, so that was fine for us to dine in.

Outstanding takeout. Don’t pass up on the chicken wing appie or the beef and tomato dish. They toss in spring rolls for orders over $40.Parking: A bit of an awkward parking lot to navigate, particularly when attempting to get out onto Bow Trail. Strongly suggest using the back exit along the east side of the restaurant and a quick weave through the neighbourhood to 37th Ave.
