this place exceeded my expectations for a family diner. i ordered the yangzhou fried rice and egg foo young and i highly recommend these dishes as they are sooo savoury. ill definitely be coming back. id say this is the number one chinese diner in edmonton
One interesting thing about this restaurant is that they allow you to bring your own ingredients for them to cook, in our case, the crabs and the clams, and they charge their labour. Unusual in North America but sometimes found in Hong Kong.Their cooking style is a bit home like. Not decorative. The crabs are cooked in two styles, probably the best dish for the night. Frankly speaking this is the BEST chinese diner I've ever been to. Super friendly staff who encouraged my brother when he tried to practice his mandarin. The food was excellently cooked, especially the wonton soup. 10/10 would come here again.
