Waffle had flavor by itself and the fresh warm peaches with house made butter complimented each other very well.“
“We have had our company party here for the last couple of years. We have 20 seated in their party room. A little cramped but still workable for all those folks. Food and service has been outstanding!! Any food choice will be above average but the Apple beignets are a must have and truly special.“

“Food is consistently good. The brisket is always fantastic. The service can be a little hit or miss, but never terrible. Parking can be difficult at busy times but it’s in a pretty happening area. Margaritas are fresh squeezed and not made with a mix so they’re pretty tasty. Nice patio area when the weather is nice.“
“We were looking for an authentic Alabama lunch experience and found it with Ted’s. We arrived towards the end of the lunch service and found them friendly and welcoming upon entering the space. Free, ample parking, available seating and staff smiles helped us feel at home from the moment we entered. The vegetables were my favorite and immediately took me back to my great aunt’s cooking. Prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend.“

“I absolutely adore UC the food is amazing and the staff is superb. I visit this location frequently and the only negative is when you walk in there its an odor not sure what it is from but there is one that is strong…you can smell it when you walk in the door and it never goes away. Other than that i would have given the atmosphere 5 stars“

“I had to order breakfast for Mountain Brook Junior High Band. I unfortunately waited until the last minute. I went to a couple of other places that made doughnuts and they scoffed when I asked for the order. I then went to Magic Muffins- they were SO accommodating. They placed the order and will have it ready for me early tomorrow morning so I can bring it to the school. It has been so long since any business was this nice and helpful to me! I can't recommend them enough (I also LOVE their banana nut muffins!)“

“Hanging out in Birmingham, AL on business for a few weeks and it's lunch time! How good can the Mediterranean be in Alabama of all places? Well, let's fine out!Atmosphere/Appearance: Set right on the corner of 20th Street South and 10th Avenue is this gem. It's well presented and looks super inviting. There is parking for a few cars in the front, but if I can remember there are more spots in the back or else, just park on the street since this is pretty close to downtown. Once inside the restaurant is pretty chill. There's LOTS of artwork hung up all over the place with plenty of straight up & down wooden booths to sit in. Once you walk in you can actually walk right up to a counter to place your order or you can choose table service of course. It was pretty chill in here the time that we came.Service: Service was just fine. Nothing crazy and he made sure that I had everything that I needed.Food: For my entree I went with the Shish Combo which comes with a shish kabob made of beef, shish tawook made of chicken and one kafta which is ground lamb, parsley and onion then served with a salad. Of course there's rice on the side. Everything was delicious, juicy, loaded with flavor and it felt authentic. The lamb was a lil' dry, but that was my only complaint. I loved the food here and it was SUPER filling for sure.Value: Back when I visited this combo was $28.59, but now it's $30.00. Not bad at all. “We ordered pancake tacos, biscuit sausage and gravy, an omelet, and French toast kids meal. The food was delicious and filling. The grits were so delicious - the perfect blend of creaminess and cheese. We sat on the patio, which was nice. The mimosa flight was good - it was great to try out different flavors and you can customize the flight with whichever flavors you like. The only bummer was that they were out of fried green tomatoes.Service was good. The staff was very nice and pleasant!
