My husband got the prime rib and I chose the shrimp pasta and we were so pleased with our choices. We live near Disney and eat out often and never ever have we had a better dinner. We will be back on our next trip.”

“We recently went for dinner for our anniversary and had the chef’s tasting menu. We’ve been a couple of times before and everything was great, but the menu had now changed to full on Italian. This was a great surprise because I LOVE Italian food, and you can tell this was authentic and fresh, not just your typical tons of pasta and marinara/alfredo sauce. The menu definitely has something for everyone with much more than just pasta. We had many different dishes from the tasting menu and it was all excellent. It is on the pricier side, but well worth the money if you’re looking for a truly fine dining experience. We splurged for the tasting menu, but there is a range of prices on the regular menu that are completely reasonable. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was lovely and worldly. We will definitely be back!”

“Bucky's Lounge at the Grand Hotel is a hidden gem! I recently had the pleasure of dining there, and it exceeded my expectations. My grilled chicken sandwich was a flavor explosion – perfectly cooked and packed with delicious ingredients. It was clear that they use high-quality ingredients and pay attention to detail.
My son, a self-proclaimed oyster connoisseur, declared the char-grilled oysters at Bucky's the best he's ever had! That's a serious compliment, and it speaks volumes about the quality and preparation.
But the food is only part of the experience. The view from Bucky's is absolutely breathtaking. Overlooking the hotel grounds and the bay, it's a truly spectacular setting. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal while taking in the stunning scenery.
If you're staying at the Grand Hotel, or even if you're just in the area, Bucky's Lounge is a must-visit. The delicious food, exceptional oysters, and incredible views make it a truly memorable dining experience. I highly recommend it!”

“We had a nice, romantic supper here last night. The food was phenomenal. We dined al fresco and the music was nice, and not too loud. We ordered Isle Dauphine oysters that were fantastic, as always. Our entrees consisted of the fresh catch dish, and a shrimp tagliatelle. Took home crème brûlée to-go and it tasted like perfection and was somehow still presented beautifully in the container. The only complaint I have is the mushroom “soup” was eaten with a fork—it was more like a hummus. But the flavor was on point! Thanks for a great evening.”

“I do recommend Big Daddy’s Grill for the delicious food, however, I do not recommend them for good food at an affordable price. I just ordered a 2 basket combo for $26.95 with a variety of selections which included oysters and crab claws which I ordered. When we got the bill it was $26.95+$8.00 for the oysters + $20.00 for crab claws, which they called “market price” so..$ $54.95 for small container of slaw, green beans, 3 hush puppies plus my “market” entree! Very deceptive and Ridiculous! The waitress should have divulged the mark up. Very disappointed! Beware!”

“A nice brewery in suburban Alabama, I stopped on my way to Orange Beach. I arrived early on a Friday so it wasn't busy. I grabbed a seat at the bar and had several half pours while I read a little. I stuck to my usual pattern of ales and ipas. The fairhope was fairly dry, a nice departure from all the juicy/haziness I usually drink. The two IPAs I had were ok, I liked the blood orange slightly more, but neither blew me away. It's family and dog friendly, so it probably gets loud when busy. There is some outdoor seating if it isn't too hot.”

Excellent selections and the prices were very reasonable. If you are in or near Fairhope you must stop in. We drooled over the baked good case but did not cave.”

I pop in multiple times a week and every time I go, the staff is super friendly and even on their busiest days, you won’t be waiting long for your order. Their menu is very detailed and they offer a very wide range of options to choose from, including beverages without coffee, which is great for kids and people who don’t drink it! Their food and beverage prices are incredibly fair, about as much as you’d pay for your Starbucks or Dunkin’ and personally, I like the coffee this local shop uses over the previous two! If you haven’t tried this place yet and you’re local or even traveling through, make it a point to come here!! You won’t regret it!”

I live in Pensacola so I asked if my mom could pick it up for me. The manager, Willie, said he lives in Pensacola and offered to bring it to me. And he did! I have never experienced a restaurant that would go the extra mile (miles really!) just to help a customer. You have a customer for life now and I'll surely send others your way too. “I’ve been going to the Waffle House off US-98 in FH, AL for over 15 years. It’s had both ups and downs as any restaurant will but I can say this for a fact, this Waffle House treats me like family. I can’t even get through the door without my food already being made and my drink is already waiting on me. I can’t say this about any other location or competitor. I’ve always felt welcome, like a home away from home. I’ll be going back no matter what time of year or where I relocate to, this is more than just Waffle House, it’s a Waffle Home.”

“Every time we go which is probably two or three times a week even if we were going just for gas we have to get food because its so fresh and good their mashed potato and mac n cheese bowl with chicken on top is amazing and so are their burgers especially the nacho one ?? not expensive at all and definitely worth it.”
