“Thank you all for accommodating our party of 18 very last minute… These guys are great. Literally called from Logan’s and asked if they’d accommodate our party due to poor service at Logan’s. They said yes come on. We walked across the parking lot walked in stood for less than 5 mins and they had us set up and ready to go. Food was fantastic… All the staff were so friendly.. Our waitress was exceptional. She handled our big crowd perfectly.. Highly recommend trying the fresh guacamole 🤩. If you want good food and good service definitely try them out…”

“Staff is always friendly and very helpful. My husband loves to practice his Spanish here and they are always trying to help. He asked how to say something in Spanish and our waiter was kind enough to write the phrase down for him. Food and drinks are great. Gracias mis Amigos!”

“We stopped impromptu on a road trip with twin 1 year olds. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Our babies have egg allergies and they made sure there was no cross contamination. We always make a mess wherever we go so I try to clean up after ourselves and they refused, saying they just wanted us to have a good time. Great food and excellent service!”

“I like Five Guys’ foods and service very much. I was so disappointed in the service today, though, that I feel compelled to write this in hope that the manager at the Fultondale location will see it. I went in to place an order, but noticed one employee was cooking food and there was no one at the register. As I walked to the register, I passed two employees seated at one table and another employee seated at a separate table. I stood at the register waiting, but no employee approached. The cook, who was quite busy, saw me and called to someone, but still no one came. One employee at a table rose and walked to the back of the room, so I thought she had gone back to go behind the counter, but she came back to her table having just gone to refill her cup. We made eye contact, so she knew I was waiting. But neither she nor the other two employees made any attempt to assist me. After another six minutes, with no acknowledgment at all from the three seated employees,I left. I won’t give up on Five Guys after one bad experience, but I hope the manager will see this write-up and use it as a teaching moment for today’s staff.”

“I recently visited Mad Pies to celebrate a birthday party. It was at dinner time so I ordered a veggie pizza for me & my son which was gluten free & my wife ordered a ribeye steak to share with our daughter. The pizza was by far the best crust & pizza I have had. Absolutely amazing. My wife loved the steak wants to go back. Even my adult son & little girl want to return. This is a bar atmosphere but with food that you would expect at a nice restaurant. Staff were very friendly. The more customers the more staff would be needed. I highly reccomend anyone to visit for the food. If you like karaoke, Thursday night is your night! Restaurant prices with great quality.”

“Stopped for lunch and was seated right away. The waitress was cordial and helpful. Food was served right away with minimal wait time, even with a good lunch crowd. The food was hot and good . I would recommend for lunch or dinner.”

“The steakhouse burger lacking in the fried onions on the burger as advertised! Once we got home the burger received suppose to look like the picture you're advertising! These are misleading what my husband and I received tonight and it was very dry 😒.. The Hibiscus Lemonade is very sour we're not a fan of that.The banana pudding milk shake is a great addition you should keep instead limited time.The service she gave was positive and vibrant.”

“Take out for a general tso and it was just how I like it! Other places in Gardendale/Fultondale don't have the same flavor of general tso I've been looking for but China One does. Will be back for sure! Portions were large as well.”

“I was running late, and called in an order. The doughnuts were fresh and rich. My supervisor now says if you’re going to be late we gotta bring doughnuts 😅 glad we live close by. The ladies there are very sweet 🥰but take cash only also a good stop for coffee”
