“It’s literally our not so secret gem in the Downtown. I had been there when it grew up and became popular over time. Every time I visit the hometown, I never fail to drive with my dog and grab a drink there. My favorite drink is honey bee latte, but I love trying seasonal drinks. I do recommend delicious patties, especially the scones. Be mindful that they can be out on certain days.”

“I have been to quite a few Hibachi restaurants, and I have to say this is my absolute favorite! From there, upscale drinks with cute straws and umbrellas, freshest sushi, savory hibachi, and comforting miso soup, there service is nothing less than EXCELLENT! My husband and I are here visiting family, and we are from VA. We will definitely miss not being able to enjoy this place regularly. Thank you guys for the wonderful experiences! If you have not tried this restaurant out, you should, no disappointment for sure!”

“Came in last night after an amazing Talladega race and had a great experience. The first plate of food was not super hot, and the meat was a little dried out like it had sat a little too long, unfortunately, but plates 2, 3, 4, and 5 were excellent. Fresh tender meat, crisp potato wedges, and an excellent Mac and cheese. The soda tasted excellent and was mixed well. Many places lose a star for their soda alone in my book.
My server was Jan. She was very nice and took care of me and my table perfectly, even with the large post race rush they received. I will definitely keep this place in mind any time I am in the area and want to literally stuff my stomach with some quality food. I almost couldn't get back in my car. Or out when I got home an hour later.”

The cakes were beautiful and the details on each cake were perfect! Everyone there is so kind and easy to work with!! 10/10 recommend and already planning another cake!”

“We don't live in this area but decided to stop in for lunch. Ashanti was our server. She was great!! She has such a sweet attitude and very attentive to our request. When we left the rest of the staff were offering any other assistance. Wow!! The whole staff were absolutely super!! I've Never been to a place where everyone was so friendly!! “There is just not a better Mexican restaurant than Los Mex. It has been in two other locations before this one and just kept growing because the food is SO GOOD. They learn you and know you when you come in the door. We have even been in Birmingham, run into employees and they greeted us!!! The Nachos are fantastic, but I always add pico on top for extra taste. Special Lunch No 1 is wonderful. Having lived all over the country, we always say LOS MEX is the BEST ever.”

“Hayden W. took excellent care of us despite them appearing to be short staffed and a Saturday night. The hostess sat us at a dirty table and when I asked her to clean it the table was still greasy and smeared. She said that’s just the way the tables look when clean. The staff that brought our food out didn’t bother to take the dirty dishes that we had stacked from out appetizers and salads. This limited the room at the table which is at a premium with 5 people sitting there. Again, Hayden was great!”

“The best chinese fried rice ive eaten so far. Ive gone to other restaurants and they serve rice, chicken and beef scattered, but this place cooks all together making it real good. This restaurant makes the trip from talladega really worth.”

“I sure do love jacks but this location specifically is very awesomesauce. They are always suuuuper crowded in the morning times and I went on saturday so I’m sure it was worse than the usual but i decided going inside would be faster but they were still super crowded inside too but they did take my order as soon as they could and whenever i got my order taken it took not even a minute i swear it was so impressive. very good employees that can work well under high pressure rush hours.”

My daughter and I hit Chick-fil-A each week after her music lessons, and watch a Trivia show together on YouTube on our way home (Detormentis, you should check his channel out btw) ... That may sound like a Grade-A cheesy time, lol, but I wouldn't trade a million dollars for that time together and that awesome food ?”

“Try their Garden Salad. I get mine with ranch. Its soooooo good. It comes with banana peppers, onion, pickles, cucumbers, cheese, tomato, and cut lettuce. The ingriedients are always fresh! We also regularly get their fries and just eat those for lunch. They are always cooked to perfection. They are efficient and always very kind. I appreciate them!! Thank you!

“Parking: Plenty of spaces, a few of the card readers don't work and have black tape across the slot. Would be more sufficient if they just placed a parking cone in the spots that are broken.”

“The BEST Chipotle in Alabama, and I've been to the other ones. Tthis one gets the tea right all the time, and the food always tastes absolutely amazing. It's the only restaurant where I know I can get Organic vegetables, and sustainably sourced meats like Grass-fed beef and steak. I love that they never use gmos in their food.

Vegetarian options: They have a veggie bowl, and you can simply just get only veggies. Which makes it hassle-free. Their vegetables are all USDA organic and free of gmos. They never use any gmos in their food which is guaranteed by Chipotle Mexican Grill.

Dietary restrictions: The menu is very customizable and you're able to tell what you're getting. It is very healthy food.

Parking: There's 40 parking spots at the restaurant with 2 handicapped parking spots, and they do have one for van use.

Kid-friendliness: They have a menu for children, healthy food, and generous prices.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is no steps, so you can be wheeled into the restaurant. However, the front doors are heavy but the side doors aren't. It's easier to use the side door if you use a wheelchair.”
