“I have never enjoyed ribs until we discovered Smokems. Now I can’t get enough of them. These are best dry ribs anywhere, and I’m so grateful they’re conveniently located on my way home from work. 🤗 I make a meal of the ribs. Literally, no side dishes, no bread, nothing else.”

“Picked up two of their pies at a gas station near me on a whim. One blueberry and one coconut. They were both delicious and perfectly fried. The dough was light and flavorful. Not too sweet, not oily at all, and the filling had a good mouth feel. Not grainy at all. The blueberry pie was really good, but that coconut pie was absolutely fantastic! Totally on another level! I’ll definitely be hitting that station up for some more of those pies this weekend.”

“The food was good, the chicken was small like I like it (I hate bionic wings), I wish I would have gotten the extra hot bc my hot wings were mild to me. Also the fries were overcooked. But, I didn't come here to say that, I came to rate the customer service, which was a 10 out of 10. The young lady greeted every person that walked through the door, even when she was busy. There was a rude dasher that came in and thought he could jump to the front of the line, nope! She didn't miss a beat and took everyone in the order they came in. She also replace my flat soda, which most places are apprehensive of replacing after you have drunk out of it. Lastly, that off putting smell as you walk in needs to be handled, all I want to smell when I walk in to a wing place are wings!”

“This is my go to for breakfast Mon-Fri. Always a pleasure to stop by. Your store manager is the sweetest and always have such an amazing spirit and friendly conversation. For over 2 months now I have noticed that if she sees my vehicle, notices my voice she calls out my order for me or says good morning love drive on to the window I got you sausage scrambler no eggs, side of sausage and them donut holes. It really makes me feel special and acknowledged and brightens my day every single morning. Even the morning crew knows my order specifically once I mention no eggs

“Hands down, best chicken around. Finally stopped in yesterday and grabbed a chicken finger meal and had to go back again today for more. Perfectly cooked, MOIST, tender chicken fingers with plenty of flavor. Friendly and polite staff which is rare these days. Don't skip on this little gem.”

“Can't explain; other than I've been eating here for over 40 years. My Dad loves hole in the wall hot dog joints. Must've rubbed off. I get 2 whole chili dogs and tots; all the way. Not sure why you can get either whole or half hot dog; I've never asked. I did splurge last visit and got the scramble dog. I think everyone should try the scramble dog at every place that they have them in search of the best scramble dog. Hidden Grill has pretty good scramble dogs. They have great slaw. Do not skip the slaw.”

The lady asked nicely how much for an extra piece of meat and when we heard the price we were shocked so we made a lil face. She was like it is what it is. OF COURSE it is but your attitude is not where it’s at. These folks got some good A** food don’t get me wrong I was so ready my mouth was watering but that whole thing threw me off. Do better and if you don’t like your job quit. I understand you are only one person. But it was only 2 of us in there ordering. “My 50th Birthday Cake was made done by Asisha. I was so beautiful I had never seen anything like it. The taste was beyond delicious and melt in your mouth. I saved the top piece put in Freezer. We took it out 3 weeks later and it taste just like it did when I cut it on my Birthday. I have stopped by and visit the bakery. Had several different flavors of her moist delicious cakes. Wished she was open today so I could get some. looking forward to her making my cousin cake in November”

“You had definitely better be ready for an establishment or they smoke heavily. Other than that, this place was great. The food was really good, and I guarantee you there. Cooking later than anybody else in town. Beer was cold bartender was cool!

And I have to say, these were the best buffalo wings I've had in a while. I got the medium. Because let me tell you people, Buffalo wings have two ingredients. It's hot sauce and butter. I don't know why all these places, put sugar and all sorts of other junk in there, it's butter and hot sauce.

“We were looking for somewhere to sing karaoke one night and found this little diamond in the rough. It sits on an old putt putt course, which in itself is fabulous, with every kind of seating you could want! I chose the swing, my friend opted for the Adirondack. I also noticed a stage in the distance which (hopefully) means they have bands! Inside, we found enthusiastic greetings from regulars sitting with their beer and conversations and a bartender ready to serve us. The first thing I noticed was the bar stools with cushions made from vintage concert t-shirts. (STOP IT) Brightly colored painted walls and such with witty retro sayings written on them. Being a product of the sixties, It felt like home. Although I live in Auburn, there is no doubt that I will be back to visit this place... Sissy's Place!”

Parking: Is located right on the corner so you can get out of the parking lot multiple ways go right or left on 80 or cut through and come by the old k mart”

“We usually stop here for a bite and drink once a week bc it’s convenient and the best place within a couple of miles. Not usually too crowded on Friday night around 6:30. Has Friendly bartenders, rest of the bunch not usually happy. My appetizers are good, drinks good but they’re often out of appetizers I want. And out of steak on steak night. When I’ve had a full meal here, it’s ok for the price. It’s a drive to anywhere better.”

“We visited Crawford Deli for the first time today. We had the lunch special. It was Meatloaf and 2 sides or 3 sides. We chose 2 sides. My husband had fried okra and Mac and cheese. I had cabbage and green beans. It was all fresh and. Very tasty. Destiny. The owner and cook. Wasn't happy with the Meatloaf because it fell apart. It was very moist and tasty. She had a sauce on it I have never had on Meatloaf. It was delicious. The service was good. I highly recommend the Deli! We will be returning!”

I was told very sternly that I can't just order that and that it would need to be a meal which would have a biscuit. I asked could we leave the biscuit off and was told that it was free, but that it would could with my food. No problem! I got to the window and I slipped up and asked for a cup of water, offering to pay if there was a charge, and you would have thought that I cursed or something. The young lady rolled her eyes so hard that they could have fallen out of her head. She proceeded to give me the water, but with no receipt after I paid for my order. Rude doesn't really sum up the attitudes of some of these people. I truly believe that when it starts coming down to customer service alone, as to whether businesses get customers... this Popeyes will be out of business. This young lady REALLY needs to get it together. Despite this, my food hot, order correct, and the young lady did give me napkins and needed condiments, so it wasn't all bad!”

I will never go back. if your employee can walk around talking on her personal phone some one could at least cleaned. no I did not go in the bathroom .... no telling what that look like. this is the McDonald's on 280 next to the wiggly wiggly phenix city al”

This used to be a respected restaurant but its poor management and quality is questionable as to how they stay open with little staff and employees playing multiple roles and the customer is neglected. I want waste my time putting my money into this restaurant again. I’m just beyond disappointed and frustrated with this raggedy food. Don’t Go There just pass bye it..you’ll be better off!!”

“Edited June 22nd (1:30am) - So finally got to try out this Sonic 'after hours' lol.

While the greeting we received when ordering wasn't nice or 'customer service friendly' the food was still good.

I ordered the chicken tenders, fries and another coffee this time without sweet cream and my husband got the double smasher. All delicious. My hubby says the fries needed seasoning but I thought they were great.

My daughter and her man orders separately and one item she order, the pizza bites?, was not in stock and they were told AFTER they ordered but Sonic replaced it with her second choice and adjusted the price before they paid. Their food came out good as well and cooked properly.

My daughter did have some confusion with the person taking the order and her man, they forget a drink due to the rudeness of the worker and her 'asking' them to repeat their order a few times, but the one who served them brought the drink to my daughter no worries. Think that nice woman knew the one who took the orders had an attitude on her.

Could have been her off night, could have been tired, whatever is was it's her job and should be done with a bit more kindness especially to people who haven't been rude to them. But I digress, the main focus is food and payment for nighttime which passed with flying colors for a Saturday night trip at 1am!

Edited June 1st - Once again an amazing place. My daughter ordered with the online app at 215pm and when we got there about 230 her food was ready, correct, and hot!

I ordered a cold brew coffee here and they got the flavoring right and even added the sweet cream I asked for.

Most of my interactions have been with them between 12-3 and they are 5Stars... haven't been here after 5pm in years, might be where all those bad reviews are coming from, might check it out for dinner one night and let you know.

For now though, still 10/10 will always recommend!

“I have been wanting to go here for a while and when I tell you it was so good! From the time you walk in to the time you leave, you wouldn’t think it was a fast food place. I had the chicken sandwich combo with fries and my husband had the 6 wing combo with fried mushrooms. The fries were super good chicken sandwich was even better. My husband’s wings were definitely not the average run of the mill kind of wings. Good size for only 6 wings. Mushrooms were crispy golden brown in the outside and super moist in the middle! We had their in house made ranch and was even told by the cashier that all sauces are made in house and they even have a separate station for the sauces! I definitely liked the multiple drink choices from the regular sodas to the different flavored teas. The desserts are very creative and you get to keep the mason jar as a souvenir!!”
