“On one of the hottest days this summer in the Gilbert area, Boba Tealight really hit the spot. Nice, cold and refreshing boba tea options. So many flavors to choose from. I opted for a large taro milk tea with boba. Just the right level of sweetness and the boba were the perfect texture. Very refreshing and cool. I would definitely recommend Boba Tealight to my family and friends and will be back to try more of the other delicious flavors.”

“my husband brought home some tap n tikka today. we live way up north, so the food took quite a trip. i got the malai goat and he got the goat bhuna masala. we both really enjoyed our main courses. we enjoyed the jeera rice and the garlic naan. my side of raita was pretty runny, runnier than I have ever had it before. the tandoori aloo parantha was also ok, but I have had it better at other places. so it was 50/50 good/not as good as we have had before. might try it again, but for the steep price, I was expecting something a bit more on point.”

“First time there. Restaurant was very nice and clean. Our waiter was awesome, the atmosphere was very pleasant and a nice family place. Food overall was mid. I ordered eggs benedict - the whites on my egg were so runny/raw, instead of ham steak they used sliced ham which wasn't even fried it was cold on top of the english muffin, the sauce was good but overall the best part of the meal was the potatoes which were warm and good., the eggs/ham were room temp if even that. My daughter took me for brunch she likes the place, I wanted to go to a diner, she chose there - I am not a fan. Presentation of the food was nice, but i like my food warm/hot that plate felt like it was sitting there before i was served.”

I am hard of hearing with hearing aids but I can have conversations without struggling whether I am in the dining room or bar. I have great service from a number of servers which include Cade (very personable, makes you feel like you are the only person in the room), Mike (funny), Frank (funny, very knowledgeable of the membership and got me known about the member dinners!) and Greg (funny). I would dine with them all again and have. The wine bar is a fun atmosphere and you get to meet others while you are there. Ciera is new. I love the trivia she brings, knowledgeable of the wines and just very sweet. Stephanie has been there for years, knows her wines and has great suggestions. Greg is one of the managers and also works at the wine bar. He is funny, knows his wines and knows what I like and would not. Coopers Hawk is my go to for all occasions.”

Despite managing a full section, he never made us feel rushed or overlooked. Quite the opposite—he took the time to make us feel genuinely welcome and at home. Chase was not only attentive but also clearly knowledgeable about the menu and options. He carried himself with a confidence that showed he takes pride in his work and truly cares about each guest’s experience. They offer milk teas, milk frappes, brewed teas, lemonades, slushes and kid drinks options. The place is open, clean, offers booth and table seating, coffeehouse pop music and has a neutral vibe aesthetic.
I came in and was greeted by a staff member. I informed them I needed a moment to look at the menu.They let me know once I was ready to ring the bell and they went to the back. I was happy to be left alone since boba drinks are new to me and I appreciated not being stared at I ordered one of their specialty milk tea: strawberry milk tea with cheese foam. I was intrigued to try the cheese foam. It was delicious together. It tasted like a strawberry cheesecake or milkshake . It had plenty of brown sugar boba. and the cheese foam was savory and paired well.
I am looking forward to coming back and trying their other drinks!”

“On Sunday night, November 16, 2025 my wife wanted to order dinner and us a 3rd party app called InKind which has a special offer of spend $100 get $50 off your order. We tried several times to figure out how to get the discount and couldn’t figure it out. My wife finally called the store and spoke to Brenda who was very helpful in trying to help us and apply the discount. Ultimately, we couldn’t make it work, so we just ordered dinner without the discount for pick up. 15 minutes later, my phone rang and it was Brenda from Thai Chili 2 Gilbert Crossing who proceeded to tell us a customer had come into the store and told her how to use InKind. She shared this process with us while on the phone with my wife and we successfully used InKind and received the designated discount. I want to stay that Brenda provided the best customer service and experience I’ve had in Gilbert in the last 11 years. Brenda is the consummate professional in customer experience/service and her management should be very proud to have a team member like Brenda. They have a customer for life from me and my dinner guests from a simple act of kindness and service to make a customer feel important to their local family owned Gilbert business! Downfall, it took a significant amount of time just to place an order for the drinks and then to receive the drinks. Received a glass of water but with the heat - the temperature of the water changed quickly. The server was kind enough to brink be a bigger glass with more ice and water. It was at least 100 outside - the misters were not turned on. That coupled with the time it took for me to receive the mimosa flights and the temperature of the mimosas- I will not be a return customer. **Update - when I arrived there were only 4 other patrons. And my food and drink order still took quite a long time. I had to ask for water glass. Then ask for glass with ice water. The bartender must be a novice - he had to keep looking at something while putting together the mimosa flight - the champagne should have been chilled and was not! Soo many issues now that I am thinking more on my encounter.”

I have been coming to Temari for 15 years. Danny and Saki feel like family. They made this place the best sushi place in the valley, in my opinion. When I heard they sold, it was like a gut punch. I was mad, angry, sad.. a lot of emotion for a sushi place. LOL I read some new reviews and vowed no more Temari for me.... But, I felt I should I give it a fair shot... I am so so so glad I did..
First thing I noticed is hwo bright and clean the place is. It looks bigger. It is bright, airy, open, and not so dark. I like that change.
The bathrooms are bright and clean!
The service was great. We LOVED our old servers but lets admit it was not very attentive. The place was packed on Saturday night and our servers was great- friendly, kind, and attentive.
We spoke with the new owner-Jinsu- many times and he was great.
Now to the important stuff- the food:
I will start with my truly only negative- The staple of Temari is the Primo Roll. They have made it spicier- almost too spicy. It was good, mind you, but I want my original primo, drowning is sauces, mild taste. This was upsetting, but,again, the new Primo was very good..just not the Primo.. :(
White dragon- amazing- Less eel flakes on top which allowed the fish to be the hero. It was also less smoky. This was delicious and for my favorite roll, I am very happy.
Amazing Grace was clean and fresh and well balanced.
My wife loved the new Salmon pepper- seemed cleaner and crisper. She wanted a second roll, but we had just finished 7. :)
Las Vegas- delicious- less breading, more fish, less crispy- more like a soft shell crab. A fantastic roll- Far less sauce which allows fish to come through
Pretty in Pink- still a sweet favortite but without the pink flakes I could taste the delicious fish.
Hamachi- was absolutely amazing!! Fantastic..
Overall we really enjoyed the New Temari. Instead of comparing, I think we will close the book on Danny and Saki's Temari which brought us so much joy and delicious food over the years. We look back fondly on it and wish Saki and Danny nothing but the absolute best- Thank you both for bringing such delicious sushi and joy to our lives.
Now, we open a new chapter with Jinsu's Temari- which from our first visit could our sushi place for the next 15 years!”

I kindly asked the young lady to remove it and bring me the bill. Out of thin air Egusi appeared. It was not what I asked for nor could the young lady tell me what meat was in my bowl. Was very quiet and slow, my husband and bartender, Kody, were able to watch the game and have a great conversation while I enjoyed my very well made Cosmopolitan. We ended up staying for a couple rounds because my husband had such a great time talking sports with Kody and ordering multiple old fashions. They were out of a couple things on the menu but he gave us great recommendations and we ended up having a great dinner. Not sure if Kody does this with everyone or because there was no one else there, HaHa :), but he really went out of his way to make sure we had a great dinner and time. We will definitely be returning to this hotel and crossing our fingers Kody is working that night!”

I am hard of hearing with hearing aids but I can have conversations without struggling whether I am in the dining room or bar. I have great service from a number of servers which include Cade (very personable, makes you feel like you are the only person in the room), Mike (funny), Frank (funny, very knowledgeable of the membership and got me known about the member dinners!) and Greg (funny). I would dine with them all again and have. The wine bar is a fun atmosphere and you get to meet others while you are there. Ciera is new. I love the trivia she brings, knowledgeable of the wines and just very sweet. Stephanie has been there for years, knows her wines and has great suggestions. I like how all their ice cream flavors have fun names, they lists what they are made up of and allergens. We learned they have their original store in Downtown Gilbert.
They offer indoor and outside seating. The inside is bright, pink and gives a vintage ice cream parlor vibes.
Our favorite flavor was the Nana's Banana Puddin- it's made of banana pudding ice cream swirled with marshmallow crème and vanilla cookies.”

“The Kolache Cafe: First things first: the location is so easy to get to and a super quick trip for anyone in Gilbert or Chandler. Plus, they have multiple locations around Phoenix, so there are plenty of opportunities to support this truly wonderful (and dangerously delicious) place.

The moment we walked in, we were OBSESSED. 🧡 Orange accents everywhere, the cutest uplifting quotes, and a space that is immaculately clean. You can genuinely tell how much care and love goes into this location — the employees love it here, and that energy is contagious.
The staff:
Beyond kind. Truly. We’re visiting from Oregon, and from the second we walked through the door we were greeted with big smiles and a cheerful “Hey, welcome in!” Instant mood booster. Every single person was warm, affable, and clearly proud of the sweet and savory magic they’re creating.
The kolaches (the main event 😍):
We’re a savory family, so we ordered a half dozen savory kolaches… and immediately regretted not getting the full dozen. Every. Single. One. Was. Perfect.
The dough deserves its own shoutout — fluffy, soft, and lightly sweet without being overpowering. It balances every savory filling beautifully.
• Brisket & mashed potato: Flavor-packed and instantly reminded me of Texas 🤠
• Fresh cubed ham & Swiss: Absolute perfection — the cheese pull was unreal
• Potato, egg & cheese: A breakfast classic done right
• Bacon, egg & cheese: Because obviously we had to — adding Cholula gave it the perfect kick 🌶️
• Smoked sausage & cheddar: We first tried this kolache in Texas… and I’m sorry but Arizona does it BETTER. Polish-style sausage, melty cheddar, soft dough — WOW.
We still have two kolaches left that we’re saving for later on our road trip to Tucson today (yes, they travel well and yes, we’re very excited).
Final verdict:

“my husband brought home some tap n tikka today. we live way up north, so the food took quite a trip. i got the malai goat and he got the goat bhuna masala. we both really enjoyed our main courses. we enjoyed the jeera rice and the garlic naan. my side of raita was pretty runny, runnier than I have ever had it before. the tandoori aloo parantha was also ok, but I have had it better at other places. so it was 50/50 good/not as good as we have had before. might try it again, but for the steep price, I was expecting something a bit more on point.”
