I am obsessed with their Italian sandwich here so good and fresh. I recommend the medium size it's a perfect size if you really hungry. I drizzled a little bit of oil olive at home and it was fantastic.
As an ex-Chicago guy with my first visit dating back to '90 and the original Lincoln Park locations: I have seen this chain grow quite a bit over the years. No longer a small mom and pop shop, now this PE backed firm has expanded all over the country. Some locations are superb, some are average. I have usually had a pretty good experience at Potbelly. This particular visit I had found some plastic baked into my sandwich which really freaked me out. They said it was from the ham packaging. I returned it and they made another and offered me a free drink for my troubles which I declined because I felt like I should have been offered something other than just a fountain drink. I don't think I will be returning. Anyway, make sure you are checking over your food guys!
