“So we had a wonderful experience tonight at Clever Koi The staff was friendly, the wait was short, the ambiance was perfect, the waitress Ash was delightful and great at her job We accidentally ordered a couple items wrong misunderstanding the pricing but they comped it which was not expected but appreciated We absolutely loved the Ramen, the steamed buns & the Vegetarian Chow Mein The Ramen bowls are huge! The mushrooms were my favorite thing We bought two bottles of their house made Sriracha sauce Overall best experience anywhere in a long time! Complete opposite experience than Jobot Coffee & Bar“
“I love spicy food. Usually, when I order something spicy, I get a warning that it might be too spicy, and usually, the spice is oversold. When I ordered the extra spicy Korean fried chicken, I received the usual warning, which I now dismiss. But when I took that first bite, I realized that for the first time, the warning was warrented. My face was boiling from how spicy it was, but I couldn't stop eating because it was so delicious. I will definitely be back to order it again now that I know what to expect.“
“My first visit! I started with a wonderfully seasoned hot and sour soup with tender pork and fresh shrimp , six star's. For my entree I tried the House Specialty Tres Amigos. Ample portions of beef, chicken, shrimp and vegetables served in a house recipe brown sauce the complements the dish perfectly. It has been a few years since I wrote the above review. Food and service are still great. Today I tried G & S for lunch for the first time. Wow, lunch included egg drop soup, crab puff, vegetable spring roll, white rice and noodles, plus an entrée for one reasonable price. The portions are more than generous and where served hot! Great experience overall!!“
“Second time I’ve been to this place, and I’m already craving to go back. We ordered the Veggie Gyoza, Spicy Udon Mein and HK Typhoon Style Claypot. These dishes were cooked and flavored flawlessly. I find that many restaurants don’t cook tofu well but Mifan has the best tofu I’ve ever had. I also enjoy the chill atmosphere, staff was nice and their food is very affordable. Definitely one of my favorite spots in Phoenix!“
“This is the first time in years that we left a sushi restaurant feeling so disappointed. We have eaten sushi all over the world and this was the worse so far. I reminded my husband that we didn't like it last time, but we thought we would try it again since it had been awhile and it is right around the corner from our house. Never again. Not sure why it shows up as three stars. I would not give it three stars. maybe two....“
“I've never had an unpleasant experience here. The food is quickly prepared and served exactly how you would expect it. The ambiance is a little sparse. It's quiet and the staff is friendly and welcoming. To be honest I usually prefer to take it to go and have had a nice meal each time“
“We found this gem as our connection flight was missed and were craving great food. This place is AMAZING. The service and the food here is phenomenal. The beef pepper steak was actually great quality steak and fried rice, wonton soup, egg rolls, snow peas chicken were delicious. You must try this place!“
“We hadn't been back for many years, the change of ownership, pandemic, etc. But after several years, we decided to return. It was just as great as we remembered it, except really crowded on Friday. That's great it's crowded, that means the food rotates often. The number of selections were very good as usual but this time there were not as many raw fish plates as they were before so you had to wait quite a while before the raw fish would get replenished. There were a lot of rolls and other odds and ends items like egg rolls, desserts, apple juice, etc.All of the fish plates we had seemed fresh, and were not fishy smelling. The small cheesecakes were delicious as well as the tiramisu. Most of the raw fish plates were in the $3.75 green plate category. We ended up eating quite a bit. And I had 16 green plates and a handful of other colored plates. I also had an iced tea which was delicious and they refilled it often. My total was $93 before tax and tip. And I did not feel overstuffed but I was satiated. The other person who came with me probably only got half as many plates and a soda and he seemed to enjoy all of his plates as well. The only thing that I was uncertain about is the clam sushi because I didn't know if it was cooked or raw and what it was supposed to taste like. It was quite chewy and I did not like it uncooked so I did not eat the second piece.Overall excellent place clean and great service. The only thing we would ask is for more raw fish and sushi on the conveyor belt at a time so we wouldn't have to wait as long for them to come around. Although you may see a few bad reviews overall the restaurant continues to do well and have overall high reviews by many many people even after changing ownership and luckily surviving the pandemic.“
“Love it!!! 10/10 recommend! I pass here all the time and never stop in. Yesterday I came in and a nice young man, Kameron, helped and suggestion a few items on the menu. I bought them all! He was the most pleasant restaurant employee I’ve encountered in a while. I took the food to go and was thoroughly pleased. Everything was so good that I brought my son back with me today after school. We ordered 4 different items on the menu and they were all great!!! Kameron was here again and helped again. He had more suggestions for us today and was even more pleasant and patient. We sat down to eat this time. The rest of the staff was amazing and wanted to make sure we liked our meal. We loved it! The environment is pleasant. It’s so clean you can eat off the floor! The lemonade was perfect and my son doesn’t normally like lemonade. Thank you so much for a pleasant dining experience! Victor, thanks for coming to the table to check on us and give details about what we should try next week!“
“Stopped here for dinner on a whim because it was on the way home from a friend's house. I was absolutely blown away by how good the good was! The guys working the kitchen were very friendly, and the food came out lightning fast. I got pork tonkatsu ramen, my girlfriend got the pork spicy shoyu ramen, and we split an order of fried dumplings. Man, let me tell you, the chashu here is the best I've had anywhere in the valley!! Very very flavorful, very tender, with a perfect char on the outside. At a lot of other places, the pork tastes like it was reheated in the microwave, but that is not the case here! You can tell it's made with love by people who care about making good food. Both styles of broth were also super tasty, right down to the last drop. I will definitely be back here next time I have a craving for good ramen! If I could give this place 10 stars I would!!“
“The Thai wings are undoubtedly some of the best I have ever had, easily ranking among the top three. Although they were not accompanied by any dipping sauce, they did not require any additional condiments to enhance their flavor. The chicken potstickers were equally exceptional. This establishment is certainly deserving of a visit, and I eagerly anticipate dining there again in the future.“
