“First time patron. Had to find a pizza location near my parents' house. Ordered 3 16 inch pizzas for takeout. Pizzas were ready as requested. The Chicago was delicious but the Super Six and Chicken Presto Pesto were magnificent! My whole family truly enjoyed the pizza. Thought it was a bit pricey but my elderly mother thought it was the best pizza ever. That made it worth it.“

“Rossa Kitchen and Patio is an Italian style restaurant at McDowell Mountain Golf Club. Currently, the course is being reseeded, so it's closed until October 10th... but Rossa is still open! Hours are a bit shortened, kitchen opens later during the reseed. It's the perfect time to visit!

I'm sitting on the patio enjoying a pizza and cocktails. I have the course and city views to myself along with the birds chirping, wind rustling the trees. I ordered the Not Your Grandma's pizza and it was a great combo of sweet and savory: spiced orange marmalade, crispy shallot, smoked bacon, burrata, and roasted pistachio. I'm a whiskey girl who has always loved a Lynchburg lemonade, so I really enjoy their version and bonus points for the name. The Dutton is a light mix of bourbon, lemonade, passion fruit, and cub soda. Not too sweet, but refreshing on a still 100° Arizona "fall" day.“

“I was just passing through the area and decided I wanted some pizza. Quick google search, and I decided to try Basil & Garlic, and may I say there Pizza Italia is the best pizza I've ever tried. If you love ricotta and pesto, I highly recommend it. The service was fantastic, the other customers friendly and recommending of their favorites, the entire experience was amazing. I guinuely enjoyed my conversation with my waiter and the food is giving me thoughts of moving to the area. 10/10 recommend 👌“

“We dined here for Christmas dinner. We were seated on arrival at our reservation time. The menu was limited to several salads, entrees, and desserts.
My wife had the pasta e fagioli, and proceeded to tell me how good it was and that I have to make it for her for the rest of the afternoon. She had fish (I can't recall what kind) on risotto and really liked that, too. I had the chicken Parm, which was very good. Dessert was excellent as well.
The waitress was friendly and attentive, and the chef stopped by to check on us as we dined.

“My husband and I love this place . Everything from the salads, meatballs, pizza, soup is all very good . We travel to AZ very often to watch our daughter play softball. I am very sad and disappointed though. I had a pair of AirPod pros that had fallen out of my purse about a month ago . I didn’t realize this . I pushed the find my device and it said they were at Pomos . Two young men said ohh ya we have them they have been here forever . They descried them to me . I said yes those are mine . Then upon getting them out of the bin discovered they were no longer there . Sad that employees are the only ones with access to lost items therefore it had to be an employee take them . They were a gift from my husband so makes me very sad and disappointed.“

“Incredible experience! We found this place on a whim and it is one of the most authentic Italian restaurants that I have ever gone to.

The service was fantastic. Our waitress was knowledgeable on the menu, specials, and wine list. She gave an honest opinion on which dish she favored over another and pointed us in the right direction.

We started with the eggplant appetizer and were blown away by the flavor of the sauce and the texture.

We order the veal special for dinner and were very impressed. The meat was high quality and cooked to perfection.

Absolutely will be going back.“

“First time here since they reopened as DiiMaggios (used to be Blind Pig). This is now a warm, cozy Italian restaurant with Chef Brandon and crew serving up excellent food. Note: they no longer have brunch, open Wednesday thru Sunday evening, but that’s ok. Now they can focus on what they do best.

They totally remodeled inside and out. Inside has nice dark walls, lots of pictures on the walls, felt like we were in a restaurant in Little Italy. They also have one of the best patios in Oldtown Scottsdale. All tables with white tablecloths.

For dinner we started with a Shrimp Scampi app, 4 huge shrimp in a buttery garlic sauce. Dinner we shared the Lasagna. Tip: they only make so many Lasagnas on Friday and Saturday so if you want this suggest you get there early, it sells out. And is delicious! Layers of pasta, cheese, meat and sauce, and the serving is huge. We brought home leftovers. The couple we were with had the mozzarella and tomato app, lasagna and Chicken Parmigiana which they said was excellent. We finished off with a shot of homemade Limoncello.“

“I was visiting from Chicago and came across this restaurant. Let me tell you the food was amazing. We had creamed feta with warm bread and apples and it was out of this world. My main dish was Chicken Parm and it was served with a alfredo sauce on a little pillows of love. The food was soooo good. Drinks are priced decent. The staff was very attentive and the atmosphere was great. Love the place and if I lived out here I would come all the time. This place is a MUST TRY!“

“This was a first time visit for me so I am going off first impressions. I eat a lot of Italian cuisine. It’s good food. I had the bolognese. It was very good but not excellent. The bread was good. Olive oil did not taste authentic (didn’t have that bite). The menu is quite extensive so pretty much everyone should find something they like. Wine list was decent as well. The ambiance is very nice. Overall, it’s a nice place to eat overall.“

“My friends and I came across La Locanda while walking around Old town Scottsdale. We had their ravioli and gnocchi and they were absolutely delicious! fresh, well portioned plates. The staff were very friendly and the food and drinks came out quickly. The staff were all friendly people and the pasta was fresh and perfect. it was a nice place to break from the hustle and noise of the old town party scene. 10/10“
