“Came for lunch on a Monday and had the best experience. The staff was very attentive and the food was delicious. We ordered the grilled artichokes to start. I had the vegetarian entree with roasted cauliflower and other veggies. So full of flavor. The cinnamon donuts for dessert were quite yummy. I was also impressed with their hot tea selection. A great collection from Harney & Sons. The inside dining room is lovely. I would definitely like to return again.“
“So welcoming so comfortable beautiful seating inside and out. The staff is beyond wonderful and the food is so flavorful and filling. Above and beyond at every moment I'm there to enjoy a meal with my family. Absolutely my favorite place to eat in Tucson by far.“
“Excellent meal. Mushroom soup intensely flavored and supremely delicious, scallops perfectly seared, bone marrow was perfect, king salmon was amazing. Great wine selection. Professional yet friendly staff. Can't wait for my next visit!“
“I went to Salad Nation today and I was very impressed with all of the items for your salad preparation. I love that the place is very clean, wonderful lighting with friendly and helpful staff. They have gloves for you to use and dispose of after you have prepared your salad which puts you at ease in using the utensils for salad preparation. Hubby and I enjoyed our salad and look forward to our next visit. Glad you are in our community ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“We were celebrating my birthday with a weekend getaway to Tucson and my goodness, this was an absolute divine treat! There was only about a 15 minute wait for the table and it was definitely worth it. We decided to get the salmon benedict, huevos rancheros, a latte, a cappuccino, and a delicious blueberry muffin with a ginger streusel topping! Everything was fantastic, personal preference though, I'd say the huevos rancheros were a little too spicy for use were also recovering from a night of over indulgence haha. We will definitely be back, even if it is just for the coffee which is like a consecrated gift from a celestial being.“
“Just had cocktails at the Hotel Congress Tap Room Bar next to The Cup and sat outside--lovely, fun, relaxing yet energizing environment. The interior had an appealingly dive bar vibe without being creepy.A great place for a nightcap!I personally wasn't a huge fan of the DJ/music but it wasn't too intrusive and we could still converse“
“This place is unique. It stands on a great location downtown but holds it own as a memorable household name. I found their Mediterranean salad to seem ridiculous at first but came to enjoy it once it was at the table: "chopped romaine, quinoa, marinated tomatoes, fried capers, pickled onion, feta, smashed cucumber, fried potato, green beans, red wine herb vinaigrette." Mine had plain shredded chicken added to it.“
“After an initial visit that left much to be desired, due to an unfortunate oversight where we were not served, the way the restaurant team handled our feedback has completely transformed our opinion. Their proactive approach, reaching out to us with a sincere apology and an invitation to give them another chance, was both surprising and heartening. Upon our return, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our experience was nothing short of exceptional. The service was attentive and personalized, making us feel truly valued. The food was equally impressive, with each dish showcasing the chef's dedication to flavor and quality. It's rare to see a team so committed to excellence and customer satisfaction. We are now avid fans and recommend this restaurant to all seeking not just a meal, but a memorable dining experience in Tucson.“
“Flower Child overall was an excellent experience. The quality of the ingredients was excellent and very fresh. The staff was very friendly, professional, and helpful. The environment was welcoming. This is a restaurant to try when you're in the area.Vegetarian options: They are a few vegetarian and vegan options available.Dietary restrictions: Vegan options are available.Parking: Large parking lot around the establishment.“
“This bar is so fun, and such a great vibe. Not only do I love the ambiance, but the patrons are always so nice and outgoing. Every time I come here, I leave with a new friend. The staff are also incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I love the drinks here, and I am a cocktail snob! My go to is the 'Shut It Karen' cocktail with Bergamot liqueur. Im obsessed.“
“My companion ordered a pot roast beef dip sandwich, with a kale salad. She said the salad had “a bad taste.” She didn’t say anything about the sandwich. I had the OG burger with a mixed green salad and loved both. The service could be improved. One of our forks was not clean and had to be replaced. The waitress showed no interest in refilling our coffee and tea until my companion complained about the lack of coffee refills. My iced tea was never refilled. Also: don’t go to TFK if you are in a hurry. Our lunch began at 12:45 and we didn’t finish until 1:50. If you’re on a tight lunch hour prepare to be late for work after you’re done. This restaurant is popular and well-attended. I recommend you make a reservation (they are on Open Table). This was my second visit and I loved the food both times (lunch and dinner). But they need to upgrade their mediocre service.“
“Had a birthday dinner at the House last night. 3 steaks and 3 seafood dinners. The food was great but the service was A+. Our server was better than good. Better than most others. But they were all hustling. The manager came by as well. Great job by all. Made my birthday the best with my family.“
“Great menu, always happy with the food. During our last visit, we happened upon an off-menu side option (never hurts to ask, right?) that perfectly complemented or meal. The service is very good, although sometimes just a little bit slow. I'm still giving 5 stars for service, though, because they are so completely accommodating, and they leave us feeling genuinely valued as customers. As for atmosphere, their indoor/outdoor options with seasonal heating and strategic shading fits Tucson to a tee. 100% recommend.Parking: During meal-time rush, parking can be scarce.“
“I really enjoyed my breakfast experience all around. The servers were friendly, and all worked together to provide great service. The food was cooked well, with good portion and price. I was visiting from out of town and just happened to stumble upon this unassuming restaurant. I wish I had one near me!“
“Great Brunch Experience!I stopped by here for brunch on my way back from some morning errands, and I'm glad I did. The outside seating is filled with greenery that is enjoyable to the eye. The Quiche caught my eye from other reviewer's photos, and I can say it was worth ordering. Everything was fresh and wonderful. Seating does seem slightly crammed but not overwhelmingly a tight squeeze to sit down. Highly recommend supporting this local restaurant!“
“Olivia was my server for a quick bite with my friend. We started off with truffle fries which were delicious and made to perfection! Olivia recommended the Bruce Lee burger and it didn’t disappoint. Zinburger is a great choice to eat out… I will definitely be back! The manager, Daniel, was very helpful and kind!“
“My husband and I come here somewhat regularly as it's one of the few restaurants near downtown that makes absolutely delicious gluten free food. Their menu changes every so often so right now there aren't any gluten free entrees, but they have gluten free bread, sides, and appetizers. Plus on this particular day, 3-1-24 their soup of the day and chocolate torte was available for me to order! However, beyond their delicious offerings, I had to say the service was exemplary. Our waitress and I had a communication error about making my Cubano sandwich (so yummy!) gluten free and I noticed the bun right away. Not only did she whisk it away to be remade immediately, the manager compensated my sandwich and our waitress paid for my side. I was stunned that they would be so nice about it, but thinking back I shouldn't have been surprised. Everyone was so kind through (and before) this snafu, to the point that my waitress brought me a clean fork literally 30 seconds after I dropped mine on the floor. I'm so sad I didn't catch her name properly, but she was amazing. I don't hesitate to recommend this restaurant, and tonight's dinner highlighted one big reason why.“
“We arrived for brunch on a Sunday about 10:30. There was a 45 minute wait, but, once seated, it was not overly crowded and our meal was delicious.Beautiful scenery on the back patio, nice front patio with high top table and chairs to wait. Our server was fantastic and it was a great brunch experience!!“
“We were so impressed with the veggie options on the menu as well as the staff understanding the difference between different food preferences and restrictions! The food was delicious, there were great beers on the menu, and we loved the atmosphere here!“
“My son and daughter in law brought us here for breakfast after we arrived hungry and tired in Tucson. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was bright and cheerful. The menu is interesting and the food was fine, but it was missing a little something, I wanted to love it, but just liked it.“
“Went here for an early dinner and had a wonderful meal. Both vegetarian calabacitas enchiladas and chimichangas were delicious. The server said the rice and beans were also vegetarian, which were also quite good. Several vegetarian options on the menu were clearly labeled. Sitting outside when it's cool enough is a must--if you can see beyond the screens, you have a view of the mountains. Friendly server and excellent busser--would definitely go here again if in Tuscan. Pick-up orders were flying out of there as we were waiting, so appears Tuscanites love the food, too.“
“What a great way to introduce the family to golf. Top Golf has really good food and drinks. Lots of different beer choices. We stuck to a bunch of appetizers. The presentation is top notch. Service is out of this world. We are not golfers and had a ball for 2 hours“
“Can't say enough good times about this restaurant from the waiters knowing every details about the foods and drinks on the menu to the food tasting amazing. I'm so surprised it to this long to eat here after years of people telling me how good the food is but I surely wasn't disappointed one bit“
“Raising Cane’s is one of those places that you either love or hate. Personally, I love this place for the quality of its chicken. I hate it for the overly long wait times at the drive thru. I double hate it for experience eating inside the restaurant, since the tables are very dirty, and the room is noisy.Oh, but the food. I love the tenders here. The coleslaw is pretty good too. Also, on my recent visit, I really loved how well the fries were seasoned with salt.Get some extra Cane’s sauce and make sure you ask them to butter your bread on both sides. It’s excellent stuff!Parking: Plenty of space.Wheelchair accessibility: It was accessible by wheelchair. There was a ramp as well.“
“My first time here.I was visiting from out of town and came with friends. Parking was a little sketchy, but I imagine locals have seen the area in the daylight and know where to park. Walking down some side streets want very safe - but, again, I'm sure there were better options we didn't know about. The Box yard is such a cool concept! Shipping containers for food and drink options surrounding an open air dining area with plenty of seating and great food options. We ate at los Perches. Great chicken quesadillas and Sonoran hotdog! There were plenty of tables to accommodate small and large parties.“
“We LOVE the Crying Onion Cafe for breakfast. Their buttermilk pancakes, and their sweet potato pancakes are to die for. So yummy. Crisp around the edges and paper thin.... The fried potatoes with onions and peppers added are divine. It's definitely a hole in the wall and not much for ambience, but service is fast and friendly and the food is reliably yummy.“
“I've been here numerous times and can't understand why anyone would rate less than 5 stars. Their happy hour menu is fantastic, the service is friendly and the ambiance is contemporary and sexy. Hopefully this place remains a staple of the downtown vibe “
“I cannot say enough good things about this place. The staff are amazing, so friendly and accommodating. The cauliflower was amazing!! Meals were perfect, great flavors, perfect portions. Outdoors is made for children, or adults who want to have fun. There are games galore and a lending library, seriously, who does this to entertain your children? It was comfortable and cozy and charming and delicious. I'm only sorry it has taken me this long to get there, my new go to spot. Thank you so much for being a fabulous place to be on the east side!!!“
“This restaurant has a delicious breakfast & brunch selection. I had their avocado toast with scrambled eggs with a madagascar coconut tea for a breakfast interview. It was fantastic! I can’t wait to bring my husband here for a breakfast date. Highly recommend.“
“Club Congress @clubcongress is a small, dark, intimate club space for musicians to perform for a standing crowd. It has thick, red velvet curtains draped against black pillow walls with blue lighting and cut out art, setting a great frame for the artists performing on stage. It is part of Hotel Congress @hotelcongress Behind the crowd, one can enter the bar area which leads to the exit onto Church Street on the left, or it leads to the Hotel Congress lobby, restrooms, and another bar area to the right. There is also a small café that stays open till 9 PM near the lobby area, so we grabbed a few lattes between the opener and the main show. We were excited to see Bar Italia @baritaliaa perform tonight. My daughter recommended them as it is one of her favorites. The room was packed with men and women of all ages from senior citizens to many U of A college students. They seem to have some sound issues in the sound booth, and the band kept performing throughout while trying to correct this. It was a good show and worth the wait. I'm glad I brought my @loopearplugs . I saw other folks my age with earplugs on as well lol. It is what it is. I felt sorry for those who didn't and were plugging their ears because the feedback and sound issues were a bit much. Merch is sold to the left of the stage behind the counter and caged area. We picked up a few T-shirts and albums because the prices were very affordable compared to other shows I've been to. I can't wait to play my new album, The Twits. Happy 50th birthday to me“
“Great place. Always busy, with an upbeat atmosphere. Tons of TV'S for sports. They play all sports, men's and women's. Staff always provides excellent service with great food. Best times to walk in for a open table is 1100am or 400pm.“
“I hadn't been here in several years, so this was a treat. We were the first ones to arrive for lunch that day and had our choice of tables. Our server was friendly and answered all our questions. As time progressed, it got pretty busy. Our server was the only one for the entire dining area, she was also the hostess, the cashier, and found out she'd also helped in the kitchen cooking! She apologized for not giving us better service, but we all thought she did a fantastic job in spite of how super busy she was. I chose a cup of French onion soup and it came loaded with lots of onions and delicious cheese melted on top. I rarely order a wedge salad because I don't like to pay so much for a piece of iceberg lettuce with a few toppings, but this one sounded so good and was more reasonably priced, so I tried it. First of all, it was a HUGE wedge. And it was loaded with lots of dressing, blue cheese crumbles, tomatoes, and bacon bits. It was delicious and I was pleased with my selections. I'll have to remember to go there again before so much time passes! I've heard their half-price burgers on Sundays are yummy, so that might be our next visit.“
“Fabulous dinner, service, drinks and ambience! This is one of our favorite restaurants with an enchanting courtyard, fireplace, and water fountain. Drinks were excellent: tried the manhattan, aperol spritz, glass of Malbec..all fantastic. Chips and salsa were great...made there. Dinners amazing: Baramundi, Chicken, Pork Chop. Then desserts: Tres Leches and Raspberry Cheesecake...WOW!!!,“
“We recently went into commoner where we pop in frequent often, we didn’t make a reservation and were turned away which is completely understandable for a Friday night! The manager came running out after us to our car and shared he made space for us and that we are absolutely welcome. It was a wonderful gesture and the service and food followed suit throughout the evening. We are grateful for the wonderful management and staff here and this experience solidified that this is our neighborhood spot and we will for sure continue to be regulars. The martini and burger are my favorite!“
“This hidden gem inside the Clifton hotel has a great lobby bar with a few food options. There is also a great patio for enjoying a fall afternoon or evening. They also host a number of local events with diverse offerings. Stop in and check it out!“
“Was in Tucson on a business trip and wanted a good place to have a bite to eat and watch the NCAA tournament. Native was recommended to me. Great atmosphere, great wings and awesome bartenders. Great place to get all your sports also. I will be back on my next visit.“
“Cool bar shaped like a boat, and great views from the patio. If you’re there on a weekday 2-6pm you’ll have to ask for the happy hour menu I guess, because it wasn’t offered to my table nor did we get the hh price on the one item we ordered that I later saw was on special. Maybe our server was new. But I will go back bc the food is yummy.“
“Hands down my favorite place to go. I tried an appetizer (tomatoes, basil, pita) of theirs during my last visit and started making a loosely similar item at home. Sadly, mine pales in comparison, so I came back and it was still amazing!A must visit when in Tuscon!“
“The food is delicious. This place has a waiting line. I had the pecan waffles with sugar free syrup. The waffles are hot and tasty with plenty of pecans. The sugar free syrup tastes as good as regular. My husband had the Texas Patty Melt. We would definitely order these again. The service is outstanding by all who work here. But a special shout-out to Veva. Very sweet and efficient. She makes you want to return.“
“Was at the second floor ballroom. Audio was terrible, no one around to assist, women's bathrooms; Many empty soap dispensers and few lavatories in working condition. We still have a pandemic, sanitizing is very important!! Parking attended was not notified ofevent, lot was full, communication goes a long way!!“
“The customer service there is phenomenal everybody is so nice in their they are courteous kind and makes you feel welcome there and gives you the experience of being home with family and friends this is a place that makes you want to go back over and over again we will be going back again now this is one of my favorite spots to eat thank you guys for the experience that we deserved five star rating you guys deserve it“
“This was our first, but not our last, dining experience at Terraza Garden Patio. The food was delicious, with lovely presentation. We actually were not expecting much, but were so pleasantly suprised!! And our server, Klarissa, was wonderful!! Very friendly and so efficient!! Thanks to the entire staff for a lovely dining experience.“
“I love Growler's! They have a great rotating selection of beers and ciders. The food is great! I really like the burgers and the pulled pork sliders. Most of all though, I love the staff. They are always super welcoming and easy to talk to. I love when they have live music as well. The patio has a great atmosphere.“
“My pastrami was just perfectly warm bun was warm pastrami not over cookedFries where mmmm and finally got my extra pickles all in all very delicious and worth itService was awesome and friendlyAtmosphere was quit some people there and clean“
“This was the first place we went on our visit to Tuscon, Arizona. We made a last minute reservation and were greeted kindly. The atmosphere was busy, but service was well paced. Our server was very nice and took very good care of us, even complimenting my hurried makeup I did in less than an hour. The food was wonderful. We had porkchops, fundido, and octopus. The fundido was my favorite as it was served in a mini skillet and had this beautiful crust of cheese. The octopus was cooked perfectly, no rubbriness with slight bite back. The porkchop with that sauce they serve it with was bright and rustic. For dessert we had Panna cotta and chocolate ganach. The ganach, though well made, wasn't my favorite as it was textbook and not innovative, the orange took over when it was present and whatever was on the bottom added nothing, i can't even remember what it was. The Panna cotta, however, was superb. It was light, colorful, and contained a multitude of flavors to play with like raspberry, mint, and pineapple, just gorgeous. We washed everything down with Jamaican lemonade, something I wish i could take a gallon of home! All in all, it was a wonderful experience deserving 5 stars.“
