“One of my favorite breweries to pick up from the liqour store in Alberta so I went out of my way to check them out on vacation. Beer is even better on tap. The sweet heat pizza was absolutely awesome. Service was quick and friendly. Would love to come back one day.“
“Their beers are all DELICIOUS. When we first arrived, the place was empty. And we were surprised to find that all of their brews were amazing! The staff was knowledgeable and told us about how their beer was an ancient mix between traditional beer and mead. Amazing flavours, great vibe, 10/10 recommend!“
“Terminal City Brewing completely & utterly ROCKS! The beer quality is totally up to snuff & 100% true craft. These guys are truly beer connoisseurs. If you're like me & love the Nectar of the Gods, this business can save you a small fortune & impress all your beer-loving friends! Yum!“
“Good food, good libations, and good people. Nice location and quite busy but not crowded. Nice spot for a Sunday afternoon!!Back again ....seems to be the same. Happy employees with good food and great atmosphere. Well protected against the weathertoo“
“The tasting room atmosphere is amazing. Definitely recommend the slush options with the sun coming out more. All the staff is amazing. The menu is really great, and there are a lot of different options. Mexican style hot dog and the burrito bowl are simply to die for especially if you get it done by Sue.10/10 all around“
“Amazing Event with minimal notice - a day before my fiancé’s bridal shower our host cancelled out of the blue. We reached out to a couple of places and Frank from North Point immediately replied and set us up for the following day. The event was amazing, great venue and unreal staff. Thank you for turning a tough situation into a very memorable one!!!“
“Fun place to hang out and have a drink especially in the warmer months. They have indoor and outdoor seating. They have board game inside that you could play too. It's a pretty cozy atmosphere.Place is quite small so it gets quite busy and full most evenings and weekends. They usually have a food truck in the summer months too.“
“Hosted my boyfriend's birthday party here and everything was amazing. They were so responsive to my reservation request and changes, allowed us to reserve the outdoor tent the whole night, and were incredibly kind when we showed up (came to check on us and let us know that we could grab the manager/owner if we needed anything at all). There were several outdoor games and the tent was set up great - lots of seating, cute lighting, and heaters if needed. Finally the beer was so good. Would recommend :)“
“Very interesting brewery. Definitely some of the strangest flavor combinations I’ve seen in beer. Of all the beer I tried they were all decent, which the pizza Pilsner was spot on to pizza in a beer. Friendly Staff. Fast Service. Good Prices. A unique purchasing process, which comes from Canadian laws supposedly. Overall a brewery everyone should check out at least once.“
“Love R&B for the atmosphere and awesome beer, have been coming to this place for ages. This is just a warning - THE CITY IS RUTHLESS ON PARKING TICKETS HERE! There is only 1hr parking on the entire block, so don't stay for more than a pizza and a pint! Seems unfortunate for the business.“
“Had a lovely time at Four Winds. The beers were great (we had flights and left with some cans) and the atmosphere is cosy, but what really stood out was the service. Everyone working was kind, friendly, and attentive. We genuinely had fun sitting at the bar while we were there. Thanks for a good time and great beer - we will be back!“
“This is a nice off the main strip brewery with a wide selection of beers and a cider or two. The people there are kind help and just darn sweet. The beers are authentic micro brews, with a wide pallet to choose from. Definitely a come back place to visit“
“Pretty good food selection here. They have trivia night on Monday which was a blast. Highly recommend their tartufata pizza which was bursting with mushroom flavour. The Margherita pizza was just average, it said it would have Fior di latte cheese but mine didn’t have any on it when it arrived and only Padano cheese which overall made it a bit oversalted. Would have been better with mozzarella like typical margherita pizzas. The wings were tasty but a little on the pricy side for what you get. The kombucha they have here is delicious and the seating and lighting and ambience here is super clean, new, and nice.“
“A craft beer haven! The atmosphere is vibrant, offering a laid-back setting to enjoy a diverse selection of finely crafted brews. The flights they offer are a fantastic way to sample their range of beers, allowing you to explore various flavors and styles.“
“Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting Brave Brewing, and I must say, their covered patio is a game-changer, especially on busy weekends when it's bustling inside. Opting for outdoor seating by the fire pit added an extra layer of charm to our experience, although do note, the heat from the fire does not spread much so you really need to sit close by to feel the warmth. We indulged in their signature brews, the Stiff Upper Lip and Guts and Glory, both of which were delightful. However, the star of the show, the margarita pizza, unfortunately fell short of expectations. It lacked the crispness we hoped for, and the sparse basil leaf placement provided a comedic touch. Despite this hiccup, Brave Brewing exudes a cozy ambiance, making it an ideal spot for couples seeking a laid-back atmosphere. Overall, it's a decent establishment, with the potential to shine even brighter.“
“There are a few delicious beers on their menu, but really it just seemed like another typical East Van brewery. What made this place five stars was our server, Dianna. I would never expect such friendly, attentive, amazing service at a brewery. I'm a 40 year old woman that has spent my life serving in fine dining and I am not often blown away by a local brewery. I'm impressed!“
“While all the staff are friendly - Katie is the standout. Always a smile on her face and knows the regulars. Nothing seems to phase her including busy long weekends rolling on her own. Great beer. Better service. Ps- the pickles are awesome.“
“The place rules. First of all their beer is top shelf stuff. I find the 20 Footer and the Poet’s Tears very crushable. And not only is their Nitro Stout the closest thing to a fresh Guinness I’ve had since my trip to Ireland, but there are Eggplant Parms from Burdy Food Truck outside and self-serve sparkling water on tap inside. There is also a sauna outside!?? Also appreciate how they always seem to have fun partnerships with community groups around town, like sponsoring beer league hockey teams (go Wave Heads!) or raising funds for the Autism Network. Best brewery in the city.“
“Solid spot! I visited recently and had a stout which was very tasty. Fortunately / unfortunately there wasn't an IPA on at the time so I was "forced" to try the stout and it was great! No complaints! Definitely a nice, sort of hidden spot with checking out if you're in the area.“
“We booked Faculty's tasting room for a birthday party with 35 people. The room is spacious yet feels intimate. It allowed all our friends to mingle and have fun. The staff was smooth and professional. And the beer menu was awesome ! Highly recommended.“
“A small sitting area based around the tanks where the beer is made, a small list of bar food menu, and beer you can buy in different quantities is what would characterize Moody Ales & Co.Food was not great and expensive, but I guess you can’t really expect much out of bar food. Prices matched the portion expectations of the food. The lavender sour was delicious and you could taste the lavender in the drink. There is parking lot around the back of the establishment and there is also patio seating year round.“
“I only have good experiences at ABC. It’s a great place to go. The beer is excellent and the staff are super awesome people. The owners are friendly and engaging. They make you want to come back. I don’t like going out much on account of some panic and anxiety issues, but I find I can keep myself calm and enjoy the ambiance provided by these great, great people. And again. The beer is top class. 10/10“
“Went in for a few drinks and had some food also. They have a great retro vibe to the brewery, very friendly staff. The pizza is very good and usually sells out. So if you want to try it order as soon as you arrive. They do tend to get very busy so budget your time will or just hop into another brewery for a few min and then come back. They also have cockfields on tap but they are once again. Also very sweet. This place has a great atmosphere and really good music. Definitely a place where you can have a few drinks and lose track of time.“
“Luppolo Brewery was amazing. They worked with me to host my husbands surprise 60th. The organizer Anique was thorough and efficient. Joel our server managed to keep everyone’s tab straight, service was prompt and the pizza was delicious. I cannot thank everyone enough.Highly recommend.“
“Still the best brewery in Vancouver! Small and unique with a great rotation of beers. There is always a good lager or pilsner type beer (Klutz or Kingmaker are faves) along with stronger IPAs and some weirder beers - something for everyone. There is a cooler of single tall cans to purchase too.“
“Stoked that they added Kapow burger, grabbing a beer and a burger at this spot now is a slam dunk.Cherry on top is the music, didn’t catch the name of the legend behind the counter today but that playlist was UNREAL!!Been going to this for a long time, stoked to see it just keeps getting better.“
“Chilled at @parksidebrewery the other day and got a flight. Isn’t this set up with a bench cute for PARKSIDE? They have a good variety of drinks to choose from and a few games to play. I wouldn’t recommend it for a huge group unless it is nice out as they do have limited seats inside.“
“Great little brewery on the row in North Van. Probably one of the better breweries on the North Shore when it comes to selection, atmosphere and vibes. Rotating taps, accommodating staff and tasty, unique drinks will keep even the most discriminating of connoisseurs coming back for more!“
“Came here multiple times. The great selection of beers loved the salted lime lager, and I also loved the Roja sangria sour. The interior is very cute and lovey. I love the blue. There are some accessibility seating and outside seating. Also, there are some tasty vegetarian food options.Overall, every time I've come here, I've loved this brewery.“
“Beers consistently quality - from the exceptional Talisman and Guardian, the flagship beers, to the limited edition stouts and Belgian abbeys.Quality ingredients and a masterclass in brewing. The Beldame is an amazing sunny, summertime pilsner!A gem in Vancouver!“
“Love this place for many reasons, it's dog friendly, has great beer, and took my allergies very seriously when I asked about the food ingredients. One of our go to places for a burger. Miss the onion rings, wish they would put them back on the menu.“
“Great beers, and friendly staff. They serve different kind of sandwiches. We were with quite a big group, and they allowed us to move around tables and chairs, so we could all enjoy the sun as a group on the patio, which was also dog-friendly :)“
“Dylan at the bar was top notch. So was his buddy but I didn’t grab the name. Was on a tight schedule tonight and was served right away. I’d definitely come here again. Steamworks delivered ? I see why it has so many good reviews. I had the onion rings and Kirsche “
“Natasha and Traci were absolute rockstars at the bar. They were so sweet and personable and gave us an amazing experience. We will definitely be back here again, simply just to visit these two gems. Your staff is the best and have exceeded my expectations!“
“I really like the ability to peer through the glass wall to see the gleaming steel of the brewery itself. A decent little patio, although not on the best road or neighborhood, and a good selection of taps for a flight or two. I wasn't personally taken by any of the offerings we tried but I am glad we stopped and tried them out.“
“They brew variety of beer, not exceedingly deriated to American style; you can find Bergian, French, and Czech styles. Each beer is orthodox as shown in explanation, and beautifully and excellently brewed. I am very sure that everyone except for kids can find their favorites.I went there while transiting. All are delicious. I haven't been to other places around here so I can't compare, but in Japan it's probably at the top. Do you have any flights? When I asked her, she checked a small piece of paper and let me choose. There are four. This is a great service for transit passengers. It's like a conveyor belt sushi order form. The writing is small so it may be difficult for people with farsightedness. The order of which is which is written in small letters at the bottom left. All of them are brewed properly and you can't go wrong. 16.1 dallers, about 160ml each. I was hesitant to tip, but it was getting crowded so I gave 18%, thinking it was the seat fee.“
“Few things make me happier than when a brewery has a delicious Sour on tap. Stopped by Main Street on the way into Vancouver from Seattle for a day trip. I ordered the Hula Hula sour which was light and fresh and perfectly sour. It reminded me of a tropical mimosa. They had another sour as well, but I'm allergic to one of the ingredients so had to stay away. I would definitely drink the Hula again though! Our party also got a can of green apple cider (since they unfortunately didn't have any ciders on tap) and the Kingpin, which was a solid ale. It was very hot inside and we were halfway through our drinks before realizing they have an outdoor seating area with picnic tables, umbrella, grass turf, and dog water bowls. Perfect for groups! You'll have to get your glass swapped out for a plastic cup but that wasn't a big deal at all. I really appreciate the friendly employees as well.“
“Nice spot for beer and pizza! Kind of tucked away and cozy with lots of board games. You order at the counter and find a spot to sit. I tried the London Fog beer and it was great. Pizza of the month was wanna beef and it came out nice and hot.“
“Excellent food, take-out is quick and the staff are polite and professional. I would recommend anything on the menu, it's all great prepared with fresh ingredients. I live above the bar in the Patricia Hotel, so I order from the bar when ever I can. Portions are big......so come with an empty stomach!“
“Super cool and underrated spot on the North shore. Conveniently located by the Iron Workers Bridge for easy in and out access if you don’t live on the shore. You’d be surprised at how good some of their beers are. Definitely worth it spending some time trying out their repertoire of beers and even their food. Their pulled pork was pretty good as well though I have not tried it in a while.“
“P49 is one of our most frequently visited breweries, and I'm glad to see them hosting more events lately. We had a great time at music bingo last night, and Sam, one of the managers went out of her way to make sure we had an enjoyable time!“
“Our decision to celebrate our fifth-year anniversary at Red Truck Beer Truckstop Diner instead of the pricier alternative was a delightful twist of fate. The contrast between a potential $200 dinner at The Keg and our $80 meal here, including leftovers to savor, left us thoroughly satisfied and pleased with our choice.Accessibility is a non-negotiable factor for us as individuals with disabilities, and Red Truck Beer Truckstop Diner went above and beyond to meet our needs. Being visually impaired, we greatly appreciated the staff's assistance. They read the menu aloud, made thoughtful dish recommendations, took our orders at the table, and provided prompt service throughout our meal. Their attentive care extended to checking in on us regularly to ensure we had everything we needed. To top it off, Justin, one of the staff members, exemplified their commitment by waiting with us curbside until our ride arrived – a small yet meaningful gesture. The food itself was a revelation. Every dish was expertly cooked and brimming with flavor. In an era where dining out often breaks the bank, it was a breath of fresh air to discover an establishment that not only offered generous portions but also justified their prices with quality. For those who appreciate live music, Red Truck Beer Truckstop Diner offers a special treat with live performances every Friday and Saturday evening, enhancing the overall experience. In sum, Red Truck Beer Truckstop Diner exceeded our expectations. It proved that exceptional accessibility, affordability, delectable cuisine, and a touch of live music can all coexist under one roof. We wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem for an unforgettable dining experience that won't break the bank.Wheelchair accessibility: there is a ramp that leads directly up to the side door, very very accessible“
“A group of 11 us were in on 11-10-23 on the Friday and had the most wonderful time. Most of us have known each other since Elementary school and of course High school. Some of us hadn't seen each other in over 30 years, so all the memories and stories come flying back. We all Graduated together from Port Moody Senior Secondary School in 1987.So we've been getting a group of us together of late, because we're not getting any younger as I've been telling them all. So the group is starting to get bigger and bigger now. Some come all the way from the Cayman Islands and Australia now.We were a very close group of friends that always had each other's backs and always did things together. Some in the pictures met in high school and got Married and still together today. Not many people who met in high school can say that.Anyways long winded I know, but what better place to get together than a great local place in Port Moody than Yellow Dog Brewery ?All of us had a great time and would like to thank Yellow Dog Brewery for having us and treating all of us so well ?Thank you ?“
“Let's call it 4/4. Why not 5 stars? I haven't tried the pizza yet from their forno oven, so I can't fairly give it 5.Great spot to meet friends and colleagues after work or for a little date night. There are a few TVs but the set up is better for conversing. Many great beer options to choose from. Same with the food options. What I did have was spot on delicious, and the other items I saw coming out looked great (especially the burgers).Service was great! It's been pretty quiet the few times that I've been in and sometimes that means servers are busy catching up on other tasks. But we were never left without quality checks and the beverages never ran dry before a fresh one showed up.Overall great experience on multiple visits.“
“Best place for a beer had my 68 year old birthday and got so drunk I broke my walker on my way out. Big Betty my neighbour had her first kiss with a women on the patio. Thanks Justyn and Jack for the birthday wishes and for my new walker L.O.L“
“Amazing spot for a celiac! Gluten free fryer dedicated for their Gluten free chicken wings they were delicious! Also guacamole and chips made in house also Gluten free! Make sure to tell them you're celiac but Amazing food ? I also had a burger ?Dietary restrictions: Celiac friendly, Gluten free“
“Outstanding service!! All of the staff were super friendly. I was here with some friends and dont really drink much beer, the boys behind the bar were more than helpful helping me choose one! I ended up having the Blackberry sour and it was delicious! I must say, the music selection was excellent, you could tell whoever was in charge of the music could really read the room.“
“I recently had the pleasure of hosting a private event at Central City Brewers and Distillers. From start to finish, the staff, food and facilities were a 5/5!First and foremost - the food and beverages were top notch! The sliders were delicious, and the beer was cold. We also appreciated the variety of non-alcoholic options that were available (the ‘Street Legal’ is becoming one of my favourite non-alcoholic beer options).Rene and the team were easy to work with and professional through the whole process. On the day of the event, the staff was friendly and made the entire experience enjoyable and stress free. They were attentive, accommodating, and went above and beyond to ensure everyone felt welcomed and was served. Rene's expertise was evident throughout the planning process. His insights and guidance were invaluable, ensuring that every aspect of the event was well-orchestrated.I would highly recommend CCBD to anyone seeking a memorable and seamless event experience and would consider using the team again in the future!“
“Nice brewery in a cute neighbourhood. Beer was crisp and refreshing. The rotating tap is usually my go to. Had the winter berry and it was delightful. Food looked meh as I sat at the front and just watched it all be made. Busy place and not enough seating it felt like.“
“We only discovered this brewery yesterday through a friend. We got to sample a testing and fell in love with all the selections. We checked out the actual Brewery today. What an amazing place, the feeling was warm, the staff was friendly. We purchased lots today. And we can’t wait to come back with friends and recommending it to friends. Great job ! Keep it up and we look forward to seeing what is released in years to come. If you have not checked it out. Stop by , you wine be disappointed“
