“It’s good for people on a diet. If you order a salad, your bill ends up at around 27$ and you barely eat up 600 calories. Therefore you are basically forcing yourself to eat less to save money. A lot of the kale leaves are yellow and grey, other than that, they prepare the food very very fast.“

“I don't know where to begin! The food was scrumptious! Bonus, I arrived at 5:20pm and it was HAPPY HOUR. I decided to get the 3 tacos for $10 deal x2. They have 7 different fillings and I had 6. Every single one had a different flavour profile and I absolutely would have each one again. In fact, I plan to go back and have exactly the same meal because I loved it so much! All of my choices vegetarian. My friend had the breakfast burrito baked with goat cheese and I had a bite and it was packed with flavour too. Oh, and my friend tried the London Fog Beer and said it was very tasty. The service was good and the atmosphere was cozy. The only thing I would change is the chairs are not very comfortable. “One of the best vegan restaurants in town. The Arburger is hands down tastiest vegetarian burger I’ve ever had. Will definitely be ordering that again if it shows up elsewhere. The deep fried Halloumi is a veggie version of fish n chips, and it was good but it didn’t quite get there… The poutine was very nice, and the ketchup seemed homemade and also very nice according to my boyfriend who is a ketchup freak… They have a back patio, very comfortable space with those tower heaters on. Overall it’s worth trying and may change your views on veganism.“

“Tasty Donair. 13711 72 Ave, Surrey, BC Recently went to Tasty Donair. They serve some terrific shawarmas and platters. It's run by two sisters who gave us a tour of the place and how they make the donairs. According to them they are certified by Halal Transaction of Omaha and BCMA. Their prices are very affordable, the place was clean and their Donairs were delicious. The harissa sauce they use is very similar to Abdul's. It is a great spot to grab a Donair right across from Fab Burgers.“

They have a selection of ramen and other lunch dishes (all vegetarian) and hot drinks. My only negative was all the windows and doors were open and it was 5 degrees. “This has been me and my husband's favorite place for about 9 years now. All vegetarian options can be made vegan and the most flavorful, fulfilling and satisfying flavors in a burrito you will ever get. I'm vegetarian leaning towards vegan but my husband is an absolute carnivore and he was the one who showed me this place and now it's our spot. Over the years they have also made the atmosphere more cozy and warm and it's just a cool vibe overall. It's honestly one of the best kept secrets and I really wanna keep it that way. I always get the Blaire Stanley made vegan and my husband gets the Johnny O (make sure to ask for a side of their sauces, the chili oil and Verde sauce are the best IMO ?). I also love that they give you options of tortilla, beans, Lettuce and sauces. i cant say enough good things, I LOVE LOVE LOVE BUDGIES and it will always be my favorite burrito place over all the places. “I felt this is the best authentic Rajasthani food you can eat in Canada and infact I didn’t come across this type of food in most of usa either (I only lived and travelled in 18 major cities). The food quality is amazing. The portions are great and price is on higher end but definitely worth the food. Don’t shy away to ask more on the options they have. Place is bit small but serves the purpose and can be reserved ahead. They explain the food and how to eat if you are new to cuisine. Definitely a great place to hit the food in Vancouver BC.“

And the fresh veggie salad rolls is one of the best, they put some crunchy things inside and it's just so refreshing. I highly recommend these!“
