“We hired Taco Revolution for our wedding this September and I couldn’t recommend them more! The staff is so friendly and the food was amazing. All of our guests were raving about the food for days after. It was so nice knowing that they were going to show up, set up, serve and then take down. We also had no issues with items running out and all of our guests were happily full after. It was wonderful having all the different dietary restrictions taken care of and big thumbs up for the nut free kitchen as we had a guest who is very allergic. Thank you so much for everything and I’ll be recommending you to all my friends!”

“This Pub was recommended by staff at The Hand Of Man Museum as a place to go for great local and fresh pub food. Located right on the waterfront, this is an old style open pub with great views and equally great food. We are in BC from Ontario for the winter and will be making another trip to this pub for another sampling of their menu.”

“Final supper on the island before our journey back to the prairies. This supper was memorable. Large portions, great seafood linguine, good chowder, fish and chips and the shrimp platter. Service was great, our servers were a pleasure to talk with and made us feel valued and welcome. When we return to the island, this place will be on our must visit list again!”

“Amazing experience at Great Fermentations. Their Winexpert Eclipse Barolo was truly one of the very best kit wines I have ever made or ever tasted for that matter. I will not only order another Eclipse Barolo wine kit, but I am very motivated to try the rest of the Eclipse line. Typically, it takes a long time to age Barolo wine, the pleasant and knowledgeable staff at Great Fermentations explained how Eclipse kits have a special secret process that makes it possible to have a delicious drinkable wine in a much shorter period of time. Looking forward to my next batch!”

“I have a son with multiple severe food allergies so we are a bit of a pain when we order food from restaurants. I cannot say enough good things about the Duncan White Spot. They are always SO accommodating with finding food options that are safe for my son. Many (if not all) of their staff are familiar with how carefully food allergies need to be handled. As a parent of a child with allergies, it is a HUGE relief to find a place that you know your child can eat at safely. This White Spot has, and will continue to be, our go to place when we want too eat out as a family.”

The older I get, the less spice I can tolerate, medium spice was too much for me. Next time, and oh yes there will be a next time. I'll stick with mild.

The food was amazing, staff were so friendly and the whole process was so organized during this difficult COVID restriction. Highly recommend ordering your next lunch and/or dinner from this business. You won’t be disappointed.”

“Love all,of the food, amazing miso (not true of every restaurant), fresh sushi, tasty bento boxes, I can honestly say I’ve not been unhappy with anything they’ve prepared for me. But, if I was to tell you my favourite things the first would be the “Monkey Brains” we recently tried. We’ve had this dish in other restaurants and really thought we’d found the best version elsewhere...but we were wrong! Sushi House Monkey Brains are THE best! The spicy chopped scallop roll is a must, and if you like Pho, their soups are delectable. I recently ordered take out Pho and was so impressed when I realized that the broth was very obviously homemade and it was without a doubt the best Pho I’ve ever had. Thank you Sushi House, you’re our go to place!”

“Had a great evening at this locally owned restaurant. Got to meet one of the co-owners and she shared her inspirational story. My sister and I used to frequent Romeo’s in Victoria on Blanchard back in the early 90’s. had the fettuccine chicken Alfredo and it was absolutely amazing. Big portion so we took home leftovers and enjoyed them 4 hrs later and it tasted even more amazing!! Love that this is an indigenous owned business.”

“The workers at Pizza Hut did an excellent job with both taking and preparing my order. They were friendly, patient, and made sure everything was correct before placing the order. “food quality is very poor. Every time I order food or come in to eat the food that's being served is rotten! stop serving expired food and toss it out. Boston Pizza use to be an upper scale restaurant now it feels like an average bar with crappie food that's way over priced. It's truly a shame”

“We had an amazing treat at Ironworks Cafe & Creperie. So many tempting choices, both sweet and savoury. Three of us wanted to share two crepes, and asked if our choices could be cut into thirds. Renee plated the thirds individually with full garnishes. 🌟🌟🌟 We had the ‘Four Berries and Cream” (sweet) and the ‘Spinach, Artichoke & Brie” (savoury). Hmmmmm. “Make a reservation. I honestly think this is a 5 star winery but unfortunately I'm not very satisfied with my visit. The place is quite large and didn't seem very busy, we came in around 2pm and we're a party of 3. I have family that had visited here before and they loved this place so I had high expectations. Unfortunately we didn't know exactly when we'd visit so we just assumed we could drop in for a tasting but that didn't work out for us. The hostess did her best to accommodate us but we could not do a tasting. I did have a chance to have a glass of the sparkling rose which was lovely but I really wanted to try the Chardonnay and at least one of the reds. Disappointing and I don't know if I'll be back.”
