Great tuna roll, but I found the restaurant to be a little stingy with the ginger and spicy sauce for having to pay for them. 75 cents for the tiniest thimble of sriracha, and 75 cents for the same amount of ginger you get elsewhere, and calling it extra.
We really enjoyed the assorted smoky, melt-in-your mouth Aburi Sushi platter featuring salmon oshi, hamachi, toro and so forth.A comforting item we liked is the Matsutake Real Crab Meat Congee which comes as a steaming pot of soup and ingredients which you cook at your table. Hands down best sushi I've ever eaten outside of Japan! The sole fish melted in my mouth like butter and the uni "shot" absolutely blew my mind. Every bite I took just tasted better and better!The owner and staff were super friendly and I love the comfy atmosphere the smaller space offers. Definitely will be coming back with my family if I ever get the chance!
