“Not a fish and chips expert but I think theirs is great. I liked the crispy batter on the fish, and the fish was good too. Chips had a nice crunch to them. There some oil since it's fried but just enough I think. Passed by this place frequently but hadn't gone in till now. The exterior is very unassuming. Inside it's actually spacious, if nothing extravagant.“
“When I say this place it amazing.... It is amazing. We stayed down in Vancouver for a couple days, and after finding this place the first night we were staying, I went there almost every day for the rest of the trip. Everyone there is so nice, and works very hard. The crunchy garlic wrap is, just the most amazing wrap, I've ever had. 1000000% will be back, every time I am in Vancouver, I will make the extra effort to go there.“
“Grab some fish and chips (and maybe some tacos or a poutine) to-go and eat it by the beach for a great time ?. Portions are generous and everything was solid from the fish, fries, tacos, and coleslaw. Limited seating inside so takeout might be the best option. The staff member who helped us was also the friendliest person ever. Can’t say enough good things“
“Best Halibute Fish and Chips you can get. The resteraunt is very crowded with locals since it is a place worth returning to. The Fisherman's Warf area; where it is located, is a great place to get fresh fish. The views of downtown Vancouver and water are amazing. The only possible issue is that all dining is outdoors and is perfect if the weather is good. Since no covered eating area can be a problem in the rain. This is a must try place when in Vancouver, but I would recommend checking the weather 1st.“
“Wow. This place was incredible. The food the service the people. It doesn't get any better then this. Honestly the best oyster bar I've ever been too. Its a must try. Black caviar, fresh prawns beautiful chowder. Wow wow wow. They are doing it right.“
“Time travelers rest stop. $8.99 for two pieces of battered cod English style with hand cut fries cooked to perfection and homemade tartar sauce and homemade coleslaw?? Sign me up. Surreal place. Muzak sets the tone. What's not to like. Our portion was suitably massive for... did I mention? $8.99?? 1970s prices. 1970s decor. Visit and support. Absolutely nothing but cool.“
“The most delicious halibut fish and chips. Lovely waitress and prompt service quiet atmosphere. The cost is affordable as well for the quality of each dish!Kid-friendliness: Considering our children are impatient in restaurants they were very patient and polite.“
“I recently dug into the breakfast roll at The Frying Irishman in Donnellan’s Irish Bar on Granville Street. It was loaded with tasty sausages, smoked rashers, crispy hash browns, and black and white pudding. Finding Irish food that satisfies my cravings for home can be a challenge. But this spot? It's a taste of home in every bite. If you're looking for some authentic Irish grub to kill those cravings, look no further—this place hits the mark ?“
“The food at this concession stand is good. I had the salmon burger and my son had the chicken stripes and fries. Both meals were good. They sell burgers( veggie and beef) hotdogs, fish and chips, onion rings, yam fries and chicken strips. They also sell Kombucha, chips and ice cream.“
“Good food and fresh tasting fish. Love the grilled calamari. However, why does this place seem to be closed more often than it is open? Call ahead if you’re planning to eat here just to make sure they haven’t decided to take a random off day.“
“I am a huge fan of fish and chips. This place becomes one of my favorite.I ordered cod n chip + clam chowder. If you are used to creamy chowder then you might not like it. Fish is very good and fries are excellent. This place beats all the one in Richmond BC.Deep fried foods are all greasy but at least after eating their fish & chips, it doesn’t make me feel I have a scoop of oil inside my mouth.“
