Bench is by far my favourite bakery in Vancouver. The quality is consistent and everything always tastes SO GOOD. It is difficult to narrow down choices so I usually leave with a packed box. Also, the staff are quite wonderful: friendly, helpful and enthusiastic.
Always wanted to drop by here and finally got the chance to drop by during their opening hours. Got to try the Seasonal Rotating Danish, the guava flavoured with kiwi fruits. It was sooo tasty for someone that's a huge fan of guava. Super flaky with just the right amount of sweetness. Would love to come by for more and try their other pastries and bread!! Everything looked really fresh and seemed perfectly made

I love the ciabatta and baguettes at Benchmark! However I may stop going there because I get embarrassed every time it's time to pay. I'm passed the pos machine and I have to chose what tip I'm supposed to pay. A couple of times I tipped but didn't feel right about it on my way out the door.
