“I've been to Macondo a few times, and have loved the food every time. We decided to do a bulk order for my daughter's 2nd birthday, as the hand-held nature of the food and delicious flavors seemed like it would be a fun and easy option. Constanza (who I believe is the owner) was very accommodating and easy to work with. We ordered an array of baked and fried empanadas, several different arepas, and salad. I love that the vegetarian options still have a ton of texture and flavor. One of our guests stated that it was the best toddler party food they had every eaten :)The party was a few days ago, and I've already been back for some more empanadas! My favorites:- baked beef+potato empanada- fried birria empanada- bahn mi arepa- colombianisima arepa- Macondo saladVegetarian options: The salads are delicious and vegetarian, along with tasty options such as the mushroom empanada, veggie arepa, and tofu arepa.“

“Cute little place a bit off the beaten path. Ordered the Morrocan Rice with Kefta and caramelized onions and a side of hummus. The Kefta was delicious with the caramelized onions seasoned with cinnamon and nutmeg (?). Really good. The tangy side salad was a nice counter-point to the Kefta. The hummus was top drawer and sprinkled generously with paprika. The only disappointment was the pita which was a bit dry and appeared (and tasted) "store bought." Taking off a star for that. If you're serving this type of food, you can't fumble something as basic and central as the pita bread. Aside from that little fail, very good.“

“LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE. seriously, the best salad place I've been to. They load you up with the greens for a reasonable price, and it's delicious! The other things sold there are also delicious, but the salads are on another level. Could not recommend this more.Vegetarian options: All of the salads can be made vegetarian, and most of the sides and soups are vegetarian.“

“02/29/24, Not a good experience this time. In their defense it was the last day to use any 2023 holiday gift cards that were outstanding and we were in the crowd of last day certificate users. But that note does not excuse any obvious issues that should have not been overlooked liked bringing food to our table that obviously did not have eating utensils or napkins. The food was ok, not fantastic as with previous dining visits. Our waitress was ok, her name is Jill“

“Pretty good pizza. Ordered the eggplant parm pizza and the garbage pizza. Enjoyed them. Paid $90 for 2 pizzas and a small salad...feels like a bit much...but that's how much pizza costs ($35-40 each) these days apparently. Would order from here again.“

“My husband and I stopped for lunch on a bike ride that passed through the the area. It’s a hidden lunch gem in a office space, but we’re glad we found it. We went halfsies on the Sicilian chicken sandwich and the falafel wrap. Both were delicious, but the falafel wrap was the real standout. I’d go out of my way to come back for another one of those.Good service, nice staff, great outdoor seating on a sunny day.“
