“This is the place to go if you love hot pot. Good quality food, tasty, and flavorful broth. Good service and friendly staff.”
“One of these days, I'll be smart enough to take photos of what I eat. When I come back, cuz I will come back, I'll be better about taking pictures of the food. I came here on the recommendation of Kristy Hang, who posted about it on her instagram. I had the shu mai, har gow, wok fried turnip cake, and a pot of wonderfully perfumed Jasmine tea. The waitress was kind enough to offer me a to-go cup for the remainder of the tea in the pot. I would not have known to ask for it. So I'm grateful to her. There is easy parking in the lot. Highly recommend this place.”
“This place is amazing. I go often and everything on their menu is delicious. Their service is always on point, it's like joining family.”
“I like this place. $13.99 per pound of food. You get to choose all your toppings. I recommend going heavy on the meats and light on the carbohydrates. That’ll be the best bang for the buck. They also have frog meat if that’s your lingo. I tried their beef bone broth and I like it a lot. I’d come back again.
**UPDATE**
Just a heads up. If you can’t eat mild this place won’t be for you. They can’t alter the broth. The only option is the tomato broth which is no spicy.”

“The fish in sauerkraut was amazing and so were the other dishes in the combo. The place was clean and the servers were nice and attentive. Their herbal tea was delicious.”
“Came here with high hopes and was not disappointed. Had to ask for the omakase since it was not on the menu. There's the 100$ level and the boss level for 150$. I honestly dont know what the difference was even though the very nice wait staff tried to explain it to me. It was just a bunch of japanese words lol. Anyhow I went yolo and got the boss level and it was the best 150 i spent that day. Every dish was mostly perfect except for the dessert. They need to up their dessert game.”

“I had the opportunity to visit this Michelin-starred restaurant specializing in noodles, and I must say that the experience was overall very positive.
The house specialty, the beef noodles, were truly delicious. The meat was incredibly soft and rich, making it the highlight of the meal.
However, I felt that the broth that accompanied the noodles could have had a little more flavor. Although it was clear that a lot of care had gone into its preparation, it seemed a bit neutral to me.
Overall, I give it a rating of 8/10. Although it was not a perfect experience, the quality of the meat and the presentation of the dishes were more than enough to make up for the small deficiencies. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to any noodle and beef lover.”

“We love the food at this restaurant— it’s unlike a lot of other types of cuisine. It’s become a staple in our house because of the unique flavors and the quality of food. We go for the deluxe with a side of broth and it is amazing every time.
The customer service is also excellent, we recently had a minor issue with our order that we placed over the phone, and the employees were so helpful and kind.”

“This is inside a food court with 3 Chinese food places, 1 Japanese, and 1 Korean place. Theres also a dried food place, a jeweler, and Coway and a slew of other strip mall stores. There’s plenty of seating to dine in. Theres also plenty free parking. The food is very good, healthy, tasty, fresh, and made to order for spicy levels. You get a raw egg to break into the bubbly hot soup and it cooks. And they add a lot of clams to the tofu soup if you ordered the clam one. This tofu clam soup is the best I’ve had because of the number of clam pieces (even when I ate most of the soup, there were still 10 clam pieces) and the soup base. For $15 for most of the hot tofu soup bowls w side dishes it’s a great meal and deal. I could eat here everyday! I appreciate food that tastes clean and fresh and Oma’s is it. They also give free cold and hot water (barley tea).
Vegetarian options: I love the vegetarian and seafood options and the side dishes are all vegetarian.
Dietary restrictions: They will make it not spicy or less or more to taste
Parking: Free open parking”
“Been there a handful of times and each visit was pleasant. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and fresh. The margaritas are the best around.”
“Maid Kay made the experience so much fun. She was energetic and super helpful explaining how to win prizes. We were a little shy but she got everyone up and participating in the activities. Such a fun experience!”
“They were open later than our normal acai place, so we decided to give this place a try... I won't be needing the other Acai place, this will be my go to place instead. more vegan options, better toppings (loved the cashew crunch typing), and they didn't charge extra for nut-butters. Acai bowl was one of the best I've had.”
Outdoor Dining
“When got to drive-up the guy couldnt gueas which order was mine. i had to remind him. Fries were cold and soggy. The size of the burger was the smallest than I've ever seen before. Same was true for the fries. My first visit for a long time. Disappointing. Wayne Weaver 6262622068”
“Had gyudon bowl & chicken katsu curry bowl both enjoyable. Very filling,
not skiddish on protein. Salmon bento looks very appealing, sauce a bit too sweet for me. It was a happy surprise for us, will definitely come back to taste other things. Very casual place with outdoor sitting.”
“Just want to take a second and shout out Mt Lowe Brewery & Emily Lindley-Rodriguez. I hosted my 20 year high school reunion at the brewery and we had a blast! There is so much space at the brewery for multiple large groups to utilize the space. The beers are yummy and the whole experience is super easy! You can make your event super minimal or with the savings of booking at the brewery go all out on the other stuff!! Seriously! The value, the space and the vibe all fit the bill and I loved it as the host!
Great things about this venue: bring in your own food and vendors, they always have a food truck on sight, Emily is super kind and responsive and they have yard games you can borrow!
If you’re thinking of hosting an event at the Mt Lowe Brewery, then reach out! I would be happy to suggest how to handle it and things I learned! I especially can help you if you plan to do a ticketed event! Just want to help if you need it!
Pic of the group at the venue!”
“😁Since I was a little girl we have been patroning The Shrimp House when it was in El Monte and now here and the Jumbo Shrimp have always been our favorite. It was my mom's favorite food so now it is a great reminder of our wonderful family times and the food and all the sides continue to be delicious!! Thank you!”
“Certified! If it’s your first time here start with the Superior Milk Tea (50% sugar of course). The price is reasonable around $4.50-$7 and the lady was very friendly. Their art and cups are really cool too.
Parking: Big strip mall lot
Kid-friendliness: Lots of drinks”
“Me and the husband went here for the first time. We chose the premium as we didn't like any of the meats or broths in the prime option. I ordered the sukiyaki broth and the native chongquin Mala. The Mala was very spicy as soon as I got it. I removed all the chilies, and it was still spicy but delicious. I started mixing both broths to balance spiciness, and it was delicious. They have a self-serve buffet with many options, and the meats are ordered at the table. My favotire was the pork belly, shrimp and the fish filet. My mouth is watering just thinking about it ?. Their service was great, for sure we're going again this weekend ?”
“This restaurant has all the qualities of an exquisite Szechuan cuisine. The typically fragrance of the famous dishes will inspire you surrounded by the authentic Chengdu ambiance is a highly recommendation.”

“I had a fantastic time at Generation Golf Lounge & Bar. The screen golf system is really impressive, with high-quality cameras that allow you to replay your swing. The vibes are incredibly inviting, perfect for a fun screen golf.
The staff were incredibly accommodating, guiding me through the games and ensuring that everything was running smoothly. Their attentiveness made the experience even more enjoyable.
If you're a fan of screen golf or just looking for a fun, relaxed place to hang out, Generation Golf is definitely worth a visit. I had a great time and will definitely be coming back!”
“Pretty solid noodle house with yummy broth and a good variety of choices to order from. We ordered the Crabmeat Tomato Basil Noodles and House Special with Mixed Noodles. We thought the flavors were good and there was enough to take home for some leftovers. The place wasn’t crowded before noon. This is our second time here and they have specials if you order over $39 worth of food and pay in cash you can get a drink included with your meal. Hope this place stays around. Parking on the street if it’s available.”
“Went for dinner with my daughter. The owner was very friendly, offered whole milk for her! That was great. The good was great, service was great. Will come back! 💯
Kid-friendliness: High chairs are available, booths against the wall seating are great for little ones to sit on if they don't like to be in high chairs.”
“My boyfriend and I had the braised pork belly and it was amazing also the stir fry cauliflower was stunning and would definitely go back for more of it. The pan dumplings I'm sorry to say felt like the filling had expired could not eat it. But definitely recommend this place. Wish they had house tea hot or cold.”
“I went here with my friend's and the food was amazing, we all decided to chip in and pay together and it turned out we were 10 dollars short, the owner came and said it was okay that we didn’t pay full price and she was really kind and had a positive attitude the whole experience!”
“I haven't been to an olive garden in years. We ordered fried mozzarella. My entrée was really good. Eggplant parmesan was light and not over breaded with just enough marinara on top. I was able to switch out the spaghetti for fettuccine alfredo. I ordered an Italian margarita it was citrusy and served with amaretto. The only disappointment was the salad... I had to pick out so many white parts and hearts of lettuce. It seemed as if I got the last part of the day ends of greens. Our server was efficient and quick.”
“Today I ordered fried stinky tofu, stir-fried tofu, and shrimp meat in red oil.
I originally came in after seeing fried stinky tofu~
But stinky tofu is not very smelly~
It tastes better, not crispy on the outside and soft on the inside as I imagined~
I'm a little disappointed~
Surprisingly, the shrimp meat in red oil is super delicious~?
There is a whole shrimp wrapped inside~❤️
And the sauce is very delicious~???
Finally, stir and stir~
The salad is delicious~
But the taste is a bit salty, so it’s not suitable to eat alone!
It is recommended to pair it with rice or noodles~
Finally, I want to give a big thumbs up to the waitress! ??
Halfway through the meal, he would ask if he needed more water or something like that~
If you need a recommendation from my eldest sister, she will share it enthusiastically~”
“First time and it was good. Get the pig feet , won't regret it, take home leftovers. It's great with plain rice or noodles!!!
Parking: Behind the restaurant plenty of space available”

“Found this store on Eater LA and came on a Saturday. It was cheerful to get the limited special cake — chestnut tiramisu! The chestnut cream is so yummy! A bit pricey ($29 total for four desserts) but truly worth it. The genmaicha tofu cake is my favorite. It has a rich soy flavor and the texture is so soft! I also like the blueberry and lavender cake with jelly on top. Excellent combination! Staff were very careful about packaging so even I drove for roughly an hour with the cakes, they remained intact all the time!”
“Their Agua Frescas are really good! Nice selection of flavors too! And fairly affordable! Always a plus in my books! ?? My friend ordered their Siu Maai & Haa Gow of all things, AFTER having had Dim Sum too! I have yet to ask him how it tastes. BUT even if you don't believe in those items, everything else I've had here has been pretty good, and I can't complain!”
“This ice cream shop is a pop-up (probably permanent pop-up) in The Shops at Santa Anita. I loved the free sample they offered! The server is so generous in offering the samples. The croffle is the best we’ve had for a long time, warm and so yummy. I especially enjoyed the matcha and hojicha, both made with ceremonial-grade tea. The ice cream did not disappoint me either. Totally recommend for sugar craves!”
“This has been my go-to place now when i want to eat somewhere that is affordable, has a good value and in a setting where i can grab other things for my shopping on my way in or out. I find myself sitting for hours here enjoying a lot of food at good prices and just the ambience of being in a foodcourt setting.
Ther offer a curry dish and a katsu dish with everything they have. The curry dishes just has the item with rice and curry, however, if you add a dollar more, you get a katsu dish when includes a soup and salad. Theyre not stingy with their portions either, so expect all their servings to be huge. Its actually enough for me to take home and feed me for at least two more meals. Of all the options they have, i recommend the fish katsu - every time ive had it, i can barely close the lid, the texture is the most crunchy and the inside is cooked just right... and i just like fish.”
“Amazing experience! We will be coming back any time we're in the area. Everything ordered was well seasoned, delicious, and very fresh. We ordered two different soups, curry, a noodle dish, and fried bananas.
The customer service was great and the prices are reasonable for the quality and amount.”
“Their Tan Tan Men Ramen are the best! I love how I have the opportunity to customize our ground meat choices (I.e. ground pork or ground chicken). Topped with nori, baby bok choy, bean sprouts, hard-boiled egg, and ground meat, the ramen have the perfect flavor. Their chicken karaage were the best too!”
“One of the boba places I tried next to Menya Hanabi. This isn’t a place to really sit down, it is a place to get your drink and go. There are two self serve touch screens where you can place your order, and it is nice that your name will show up on the screen to let you know approximately when your drink is ready. It seems this is a franchise so there are other places that serve the same, but this was my first experience and I think it is worth a try.
I decided to give the waffle a try, my kid enjoyed it. The passion fruit drink I got was decent, but the seeds inside were quite hard.
I like how modern the place is, but it seems to be a lot more pricier than some other places that I have been to in this city. I think my bill for 5-6 drinks and a snack was about $60. I believe I could have gone to another place and max would have been $40.
Worth a try, if especially if you are eating in the plaza. Until next time”
“It is definitely the most delicious Chinese restaurant in LA! The decoration is luxurious, the products are top-notch, and the prices are average. I hope we can keep it up and not let down our diners.”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“It is the best in terms of quantity, price and taste compared to any other restaurant in La.
I recommend Jjambbong and sweet and sour pork.
The young Korean manager is always friendly and friendly.
The kitchen staff also always say hello.
Cooks food in memory of me
I always put a lot of pressure on my employees.”
“Amazing little spot that my wife and I visit consistently at least once a week. The pho is always on point & they never seem to have an off day. Ann is always extremely friendly and service oriented & always makes sure our experience is very pleasant. Like most have mentioned, the egg rolls are also on point. Go & support this hole in the wall spot!”
“Excellent Food! Excellent Service!!! I was having a stressful day and decided to get some delicious Pad Thai from my favorite restaurant, Srisiam Thai Kitchen. The cashier delivered the food to me while I was in my car and I was gifted eggrolls! Thank you so much for ending my stressful day on a good note! I truly appreciate your delicious food and superb customer service! Thank you so much!”
“Sashimi is fresh. Grilled items are tasty. Good selection of sake. And the service is very good. Thank you, Nathan.”
“Pressed Juicery is a refreshing juice place who serves cold press juices. If you aren't familiar with cold press, it is juice extracted by using 1000 pound of pressure to extract juices from fresh fruit and there is no heat or oxidation used in the process resulting in fresh juices as if you are eating the fruit itslef. They also have smoothie bowls loaded with fresh fruit. This place has juices already pressed and in bottles to sell. They have VIP packs which you can get 6 bottles for $30 which $5.50 a bottle. When i tried cold pressed juice for the first it was so refreshing and i can feel my body saying thank you. This place can get really busy but worth the wait but i think they can use one more person to fill the online orders that come in. Good stuff!”

“Pretty good experience at this Tea Shop compared to other location I went to in Rowland. They have two order yourself stations and I was able to take a look more closely this time at their selection. This is located at the front, and although there isn’t any seating, besides a bench, you could take your drink and walk inside towards the food court.
I tried and enjoyed the Sunlight Fruit Tea. Got it with less sugar and less ice.
We got our drinks really fast, it was clean, what else can you ask for at a Boba place?”
“Soonheheene has amazing food! Every dish I’ve tried has been delicious, and the flavors are always on point. The restaurant has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that makes it a great spot for a meal. However, I was a bit disappointed to find out they no longer make taiyaki. It was one of my favorites, and I always looked forward to it! I still love the food here, but I hope they bring back the taiyaki sometime soon.”
“An old restaurant opened by Taiwanese more than 20 years ago, with many local snacks. Today, the two of them only had chicken drumstick rice and pork rice. Unfortunately, it is now pork rice and there are no dried bamboo shoots, which is very disappointing... The business used to be very good. I miss the Taiwanese taste. This is the right place to come, the taste hasn’t changed, it’s still delicious!”
“Wonderful service. Food was overall good. Loved the outdoor patio. Great atmosphere with good music playing.
Entrees are gigantic.
Ordered the meatloaf, was more like a spaghetti meatball... not bad just not a traditional tasting meatloaf.
The chicken dinner was also HUGE....
Turkey sandwich and french fries were probably the best thing we got there.
Overall, cute place with good food.”
“Chicken and beef pies I have loved most of my life. Still great !!!!!”
“Finally tried this little gem and was not disappointed. We ordered the taquito combo plate, which was delicious, loved the fresh guacamole! We also got pozole to take home and it was equally sumptuous! Also tried their jamaica...it was strawberry jamaica and I absolutely loved the flavor...it wasn't too sweet, the way some places make it. The little restaurant itself is very quaint, clean, and is tastefully decorated. There's also sidewalk seating, with several tables and umbrellas. This place has a really nice authentic vibe, I'll be returning for sure! Oh, and a shout out to the staff, they are very friendly!
Parking: Plenty of free street parking.”
“Basically “Chipotle” for udon but WAAYY BETTER. With that in mind it’s really cool they make your food in front of you as you pick out items. It was a bit of wait on the weekend, and add ons can get pricey. I loved the cleanliness and overall vibes. Jason was on top of it from helping people and cleaning up. I feel better about ordering when staff like him actually know the menu. GET THE CURRY NIKUTAMA SO YUMMY!!! Even tasted great when i took leftovers home. (Thanks for the recommendation Jason)”
“Very high quality dim sum. Plenty of room, and the wait is never too long. Quick service (no carts). Clean, comfortable, feels quite high-end yet very traditional and authentic. Love coming here.”

“I recently visited the 626 Night Market with my cousins, and even though I’d heard so much about it, I approached it with mixed feelings. As a foodie, I was excited to explore, but I’m not a fan of waiting in long lines, especially when I can just visit a restaurant instead—though we were there to celebrate a special occasion.
Tip: Definitely arrive early and purchase your tickets in advance! We made the mistake of rushing to the first stalls and missed out on the full experience because we didn’t realize there was an entire other side to explore. Lesson learned! Wear comfortable shoes! Sunscreen! Hand Sanitizer!
Now, onto the food: the grilled squid was delicious, and the fried potatoes were an absolute must-try—especially when they’re hot and fresh. The tanghulu was fantastic, though a bit pricey; I’d suggest trying to make it at home if you can. The balut was good, and the grilled lamb was a standout—it was absolutely fire! However, the Thai rice patty sandwich was disappointing, so I’d recommend skipping that.
There’s so much to see and experience at the market, from tasty food to fun games. We even had a great time playing games, and all the cousins walked away with stuffed animals! Overall, we had a blast, and I recommend checking it out if you enjoy vibrant atmospheres and unique eats. Just remember to plan ahead for the best experience!”

“We were recently passing through Pasadena and boy, did Yelp come through for us when picking a place to eat! Craft by Smoke & Fire in Old Town Pasadena ended up being the perfect choice. It was a beautiful evening and we opted to sit outside. We were lucky enough to have Stephanie as our server…and also lucky to be there during happy hour – you gotta love a 2 for 1 drink special! It was hard to choose between all the craft cocktails, but we ended up ordering Lulu Lemons which were excellent! I play mixologist when entertaining at home, and when I expressed interest in recreating this drink for our friends, Stephanie was kind enough to share the recipe! The menu is full of yummy Texas-style BBQ options made from locally sourced meat, and it was hard to choose. We landed on brisket grilled cheese with a side of mac & cheese (can you have too much cheese?!) and a harvest brisket salad. Both were so delicious. The outside table area was pretty full and although she was covering a lot of tables, Stephanie was knowledgeable when guiding us through the menu, super attentive and personable to boot! We look forward to returning…and to checking out their Anaheim location as well!”

“Overall good experience with good quality meat that is cooked by the servers. The sauces were tasty and balanced and the meal left me feeling not heavy which is good. The service was top notch and it seems like the owner and workers are open to feedback and improving. Recommend and will be coming back!”
