“Easy to miss, though from the reviews, it seems like few actually pass it by.On lunch break from rehearsal nearby, I had the feta, tomato, and basil toasted sandwich, which was perfect. Outdoor seating was quite welcome, as it's kinda warm and stuffy inside the store.“

“Very solid deli. Great selection of sandwiches and meats. Order came in a reasonable time considering the restaurant size and that I came in during a busier time. Love the design and decorations of the restaurant. Took a few bites, but the tapioca pudding was good, though the portion size is deceivingly large. Pickles were great.“

“Yes please! I've loved this place since my parents moved to Tarzana in 1985. For some reason I'm stuck on the salami wrap. I rarely waver. Always get that, some stuffed grape leaves (which are to die for), a bag of chips and a drink and that's my idea of a perfect lunch. They have three or four tables if you just can't wait to get it home. Lots of fun, interesting Armenian groceries as well. Everyone who works behind the counter is super friendly and the sandwiches come out before you know it. A Tarzana classic for many decades!“

“Ike's has the best vegetarian subs around! Well, from what I've tried anyway. Few months back I tried their Freddy Krueger sandwich (not vegetarian) on their dutch crunch and it was great. The dutch crunch is delicious. I also tried their James and the giant peach recently and it'll be my go-to anytime I visit for sure! All the ingredients come together perfectly and the vegan fried chicken is good too! Their sandwiches come with a candy (caramel apple lollipops) and as someone with a sweet tooth, I love it. Service was good and my sandwich came out in a timely manner. It's a great place to grab a bite after running errands in the plaza.“

I've tried : American breakfast Meatball sandwich Chicken parmesan Veal parmesan And most recently TRI TIP PANINI Which literally made me stop half way to write this review because it's one of the most delicious tri trip sandwiches/paninis I've ever tasted.. hand down my new favorite. The place has a welcoming feeling. Like if they've known you forever (must be thag Italian love. Definitely taste it in the food) ... highly reccomend! Next time I'll order 2.“

“Giant portions, tasty food, classic diner menu. This is really nice restaurant and a go to spot if you’re feeling like diner food. The soup and sandwich combo is perfect. Pastrami is delicious. Highly recommend this spot, just make sure you bring a big appetite!“

“One of the best bagel/lox platters I've had on either coast. Cozy environment, clean surfaces and very good coffee. Can only speak to breakfast but the breakfast sandwich and waffle my party also ordered were all excellent. “This place is so tiny. But, it really packs a punch. With a deli counter, baked goods, a selection of imported goods, sandwiches, and even some ready made frozen meals. They cram a lot into a small space. But, it's all very authentic. My mom loves the cold cut sandwiches here, so I've been eating them for years. I've also had the turkey sandwich. The turkey was sliced thinly, and the bread is always wonderful. Their sandwiches are always fantastic. And, the frozen baked Ziti is a delicious and convenient way to enjoy a restaurant quality Italian meal at home.“

“I went to purchase my ham as I do almost every year. When I pulled up I noticed the line was more than 2 blocks long on incline. I Stuffer from an autoimmune disease that has messed up my mobility with being said. I got out of my car to t that long line with my walker and started Up the incline towards the end of the line when one of the honey baked employees came running after me me. He kindly tapped me on the shoulder and said ma'am please come with me we want you to come inside to purchase your ham, they s as me struggling up the incline. I did not expect that I just wanted to get in line and eventually purchase my ham. They acted with compassion and kindness they helped me down the incline they walked with me until they saw I was safely inside. I want to sincerely thank all the honey baked employees that day two days before thanksgiving 2023. Yes the ham was delicious“

They have delicious cakes too!The owners are two sisters from Mariupol and the store is pro Ukrainian not like a lot of neighborhood “Eastern European” stores so if you want to show support, shop here!
