Service is cheerful and quick, and the interior is tidy. They do serve a few beers/Truly. “Very solid deli. Great selection of sandwiches and meats. Order came in a reasonable time considering the restaurant size and that I came in during a busier time. Love the design and decorations of the restaurant. Took a few bites, but the tapioca pudding was good, though the portion size is deceivingly large. Pickles were great.“

“Cavaretta's has the most authentic Italian sandwiches in the Valley, as well as a great little Italian mini mart. I often go when they're busy, but the atmosphere is so friendly, and the aroma is so enticing, that I really don't mind the wait. “Yes please! I've loved this place since my parents moved to Tarzana in 1985. For some reason I'm stuck on the salami wrap. I rarely waver. Always get that, some stuffed grape leaves (which are to die for), a bag of chips and a drink and that's my idea of a perfect lunch. They have three or four tables if you just can't wait to get it home. Lots of fun, interesting Armenian groceries as well. “Ike's has the best vegetarian subs around! Well, from what I've tried anyway. Few months back I tried their Freddy Krueger sandwich (not vegetarian) on their dutch crunch and it was great. The dutch crunch is delicious. I also tried their James and the giant peach recently and it'll be my go-to anytime I visit for sure! All the ingredients come together perfectly and the vegan fried chicken is good too! Their sandwiches come with a candy (caramel apple lollipops) and as someone with a sweet tooth, I love it. The pastrami is lean, and they let us know that ahead of time. To me, maybe a bit lean. It lost a bit of the flavor she loves so much. But I can't knock them because they definitely told us. “I chose this out of the many that are down Pico because of the ratings. Also it was Yom Kippur so a few of them were closed for the holiday. Carvery had sandwiches but more importantly the french dip feature that I was interested in trying. While I stuck with the corn beef brisket, my girlfriend had a turkey wrap, and the two of us shared chips together. Its a small place but the guys working there bring everything out to you. I Stuffer from an autoimmune disease that has messed up my mobility with being said. I got out of my car to t that long line with my walker and started Up the incline towards the end of the line when one of the honey baked employees came running after me me. He kindly tapped me on the shoulder and said ma'am please come with me we want you to come inside to purchase your ham, they s as me struggling up the incline. I did not expect that I just wanted to get in line and eventually purchase my ham. They acted with compassion and kindness they helped me down the incline they walked with me until they saw I was safely inside. I want to sincerely thank all the honey baked employees that day two days before thanksgiving 2023. Yes the ham was delicious“

“This place is so tiny. But, it really packs a punch. With a deli counter, baked goods, a selection of imported goods, sandwiches, and even some ready made frozen meals. They cram a lot into a small space. But, it's all very authentic. My mom loves the cold cut sandwiches here, so I've been eating them for years. I've also had the turkey sandwich. The turkey was sliced thinly, and the bread is always wonderful. Their sandwiches are always fantastic. And, the frozen baked Ziti is a delicious and convenient way to enjoy a restaurant quality Italian meal at home.“

The matzo ball soup was somewhat disappointing (but I am somewhat spoiled with a lifetime of fantastic, homemade soup) that had a ridiculously humongous matzo ball.
