“Wonderful Owners! Give them a try!I'm a foodie and I like trying all types of food and restaurants, especially Filipino food. I sometimes get turned away from going because feel like I will be out of place. I was craving something sweet and started searching Yelp in Panorama City for a spot to grab Turon to try for my first time. I landed on Sally's, so I stopped in after seeing the good reviews. It seemed like a small family run place that does mostly take out orders from small to large. They were getting ready to close but I still I asked about their Turon. They were sold out for the day and kindly advised it usually best to order ahead because they do sell out and it's best to get them fresh. I believe it was the owners, a man and woman working who also asked me how I heard about them and started explaining all about the food choices, providing recommendations, showing pictures and how to order for next time. The best part was they did have 1extra Turon and gave it to me free and refused to charge me. I really wanted to pay but they said it was a sample so I knew what they tasted like for the next time. Honestly, this made my day!!! The owners made me feel so comfortable and welcomed as they could tell it was my first time visiting and I was out of place. It made me feel like I was at my Filipino friends house who is always making delicious food to try. I'll definitely be back to grab more Turon and try all their food. I love supporting small business that appreciate their customers like I saw today. Thank you!!!!!“

“Visited Uovo in Studio City for the first time and tried their tasting menu. The truffle pasta was amazing, seriously good. The pomodoro was just okay, didn't impress much. But the Tiramisu? Wow, I'm not even a big fan of Tiramisu and it left me speechless. Worth a visit for sure.“

“Loved this place! Super fresh ingredients and very friendly staff. Ordered the Nam Tok Salad, the Chicken Pad Kee Mow (Drunken Noodles) and the Isaan Larb Kua. Everything was really tasty and the server was great about explaining the spice levels. The Nam Tok and the Isaan Larb Kua were especially delicious because of the use of lime juice -- that tangyness paired with the spiciness and the savoriness in both dishes was a winning combo. In terms of spice level, I'd say that I usually like spicy food and handle it well, and the Medium was just right. There are additional chili sauces available if you want to dial it up a little bit. Very generous portions and I was honestly quite stuffed. The price is also ridiculously low and I have to say this is one of the most amazing value Thai places I've ever been too -- the pad kee mow was $12.99 for the chicken version!! They were making pickled chilis on one of the side tables, which is one sign you know this place is legit -- when they make their sauces and condiments from scratch, by hand. Really looking forward to my next visit here.“

“We came here on a whim, after finding The Daily Outpost mysteriously closed on a Friday evening. Umigame is so good! “We saw Dek Sen’s post on @sanfernandovalleyeats , so we looked them up.Dek Sen’s is an interesting name, we were told it means favorite person in Thai☺️We were reluctant to order kimchi fried rice at a Thai restaurant but so glad we did. It was amazing!!! It’s not a typical Korean kimchi fried rice. It has garlicky and tangy flavors. The runny egg yolk blended well with the rice.We also got cream cheese crab Rangoon, fried dumplings and veggie egg rolls. LOVED their sweet and sour dipping sauce. We asked for extra to bring home.Very casual, fast and friendly service. You order and pay at the counter. They don’t speak much English but they are very accommodating.We are super happy to find another restaurant close by that we love. Will definitely go back for more!“

“We decided to give this location another try and we were blown away by all of the delicious meals they prepared. The shrimp pad see ew was flavored to perfection. The crab fried right was just right and the spicey fried rice was balanced with the right amount of heat. You can always request the kitchen to turn up or turn down the spice level according to your taste buds. Try the lychee martini, you will thank me later. The service was five-star from the moment we walked in. We were greeted with a warm welcome and our waitress made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our dining experience. The restaurant is small and intimate, perfect for a local date night. We had a great time guys, thank you and we will see you guys again soon.“

“This is my new favorite Thai spot! I always get take-out/delivery so can't attest to the service but so far my orders have always been accurate and hot! My go-to order is the chicken pad Thai and the filet mignon with garlic string beans. The pad Thai stands out to others because of their sauce (I get mine extra saucy). Will be ordering again soon!“

“Small and cozy (and hidden above Panda Express on the corner of Reseda and Nordhoff), this Japanese eatery offers traditional dishes at reasonable prices and large portions. The service was prompt and friendly. The chicken katsu curry and seafood Ramen are the two best dishes.“

“If you can't get to SGV, where the quality and selection of Chinese food is incredible, Sam Woo is a great valley option. Standouts are their BBQ meats; roast duck, roast pork , char siu. Good selections of all noodle dishes; chow menial, Lo Meir, chow fun. Then like most Chinese restaurants hundreds of options. The key here is their consistent authentic dishes. “Such great Chinese food! I'm glad they're open on Tuesdays now. I usually get pick up for Chicken Fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, or Shanghai noodles. The food is always perfect and delicious. Today though... I ordered SnS Chicken and when I went to pick it up they had told me they are no longer mixing the sauce in because it gets soggy. I love it soggy!! And it's not even soggy. Just a perfect sauce mix ratio. So who ever complained about it being soggy... you just ruined it!!! I'll order it next time and ask that the sauce is mixed in.“

The layout of the restaurant is a clean simple style with an indoor fountain, some decorative plants & flowers, and old-school pictures of life and people in Thailand adorning the walls. Combined with the lighting and "easy-listening" music playing, it creates a very relaxed, laid-back atmosphere.A nice little place to dine out for small groups. “Mom, Auntie, and I were at a community event in Reseda on St. Patrick's day, and while walking the boulevard, we passed by a few restaurants. I was feeling Thai so I picked this place. It's was a cozy place with Thai art and decorations. The lady greeted us so gently and sweetly, I was sure it was gonna be a great meal. We ordered chicken satay, pad thai and chicken fried rice. Most pad thai's I've had get dry fast, then it's not so good. Their pad thai sauce was a little runny, but I liked it that way. It coated the noodles better. The fried rice was the blue ribbon of all the dishes. So much flavor! No soy sauce needed! I'm from the San Gabriel Valley, but if I'm ever in Reseda again, I'm making a beeline here!“

“Their black bean noodles (jjajangmyeon) is my family’s go-to when we are craving korean food. It comes with picked radish as a side dish and they are pretty big. The dumplings are also juicy and delicious. I have yet to try the other dishes, but would like to explore more food from this place.“

“Silverlake ramen in van nuys still living up to its name m/original location in silverlake. I really enjoy coming here. The staff is very tentative and friendly!! And the music is always good! I do Wish they offered a kids menu/kids size bowl. I honestly don't mind sharing with my little one but sometimes I end up eating my ramen cold because I'm waiting to see if my little one wants more Noodle/ or broth or tofu. But other than that I really enjoy coming here.“

“My husband and I wanted to try a new Thai place so we came here thinking it was the one we saw online, we parked and noticed it was the wrong one but were to hungry so we ended up trying it and OMG this place is so good and our waitress was extremely nice! “I've been to this Mission Hills location for dine in and also got an order for delivery, both experiences have been very pleasant. Dine In on a Sunday noon was not too busy and the food came out quickly for all our party of 7, service was good and the place looked clean, the Ramen was delicious and loved the pork belly that came with it! For my delivery order I was pleasantly surprised that they have an option to order the Ramen as Simple which only comes with Broth, noodles, protein and egg which is the way we like the fried chicken (karaage) is also good, I like how they pack the broth in one bowl separately for The noodles and toppings so it doesn't get soggy when it arrives to your place, I just warm up the broth and mix all together when ready to eat. I will definitely recommend this Silverlake Ramen and this location.“
