“Been a few years since we've been here and they've modernize the place. Menu got an update as well. I got #1-pho special and my husband got #4 also pho ? still delicious, we both almost emptied the huge bowl but the broth towards the end felt too salty, still as good as I remembered it and price is somewhat affordable compared to other places6 years ago:Love their pho, my husband love their #51. Portions are big for the pho and I'm always full, satisfied and happy after consuming the big bowl of noodles and broth.Very occasionally I order the porridge with ofalls and deep fried bread - just hit the spot for me. Prices are still affordable even though they've raised a little. Everyone that I brought to this place enjoys their food. It's a very simple restaurant, nothing fancy and get very crowded during meal times.“

“I saw a post regarding this place and decided to stop by to try them out, the post I saw showed that they were very generous with their portions, I can confirm that they do serve humongous portions that you can just barely close the lid of the food Container.I ordered the chow mien/fried rice with spicy pork and 3pcs fried chicken wings, I love the spicy pork, the fried rice and chow mien were also good. They have other foods I have to try out.The servers were friendly and professionalThe dining area feels kinda divey but functional and clean, I came in around 5:30pm, not sure of their operating hours. I looked for and didn’t see a sign stating their hours, I wish they have a self serve soda fountain instead of selling them by the can.Parking: Mini strip mall type parking lot“

“The food was so authentic it stunned my mom. I've never seen her so pleasantly surprised by a restaurant. It's hard to find dishes like Liangpi and Big Plate Chicken outside of China, and even if you can the flavors are often diluted. The noodles here were perfectly chewy, the stew in the BPC was rich and thick (rivaling Dolan's even). And the prices aren't bad at all. We'll be coming here again, and exploring their other locations too.“

“Loved this place! Super fresh ingredients and very friendly staff. Ordered the Nam Tok Salad, the Chicken Pad Kee Mow (Drunken Noodles) and the Isaan Larb Kua. Everything was really tasty and the server was great about explaining the spice levels. The Nam Tok and the Isaan Larb Kua were especially delicious because of the use of lime juice -- that tangyness paired with the spiciness and the savoriness in both dishes was a winning combo. In terms of spice level, I'd say that I usually like spicy food and handle it well, and the Medium was just right. There are additional chili sauces available if you want to dial it up a little bit. Very generous portions and I was honestly quite stuffed. The price is also ridiculously low and I have to say this is one of the most amazing value Thai places I've ever been too -- the pad kee mow was $12.99 for the chicken version!! They were making pickled chilis on one of the side tables, which is one sign you know this place is legit -- when they make their sauces and condiments from scratch, by hand. Really looking forward to my next visit here.“

“low-key authentic Korean restaurant. The ahjumma was so nice to us!Food is great:banchan (side dishes) - lots of variety! I liked the seaweed, fish cake, kimchi radish, and bean sprouts.Specials #13 seafood pancake $19.99 - Good. Not overloaded with green onions. The sauce that came with it could have been saltier.Specials #9 chicken stew $25.99 - spicy! Chicken was cooked well. Lots of potatoes. The small bones are annoying.#22 stone pot bibimbap $14.99 - tasty. The ahjumma brought out a bowl of gochujang filled to the top. It was good and not too sweet.#9 chewy spicy noodles $13.99 - delicious. I'd get this again. Came with a soft boiled egg.Specials #12 stir-fried squid $24.99 - I'd get this again too. The rice cake was eh, but the squid was good. Not too spicy.Prices are a bit high, but so is everywhere else right now. The menu is extensive but has some solid favorites. They have a small parking lot in this plaza, so it wasn't hard to find at 7 PM on a week night. Typical of a local Korean joint, they post menu items with prices on the walls. Even better - they have pictures of the food!“

“I have been coming to Futaba for over 7 years and have not found better tonkotsu ramen in the whole LA Valley. I have tried many many Japanese restaurants, always trying to find the best place out there, but I never leave completely satisfied. I actually stopped coming to Futaba for over a year and today I decided to bring my kids as we were near the area. Coming today made me realize that I truly wouldn't recommend any other ramen place as much as I would this one. From the moment you walk in, the service, the atmosphere, everything makes you feel welcome. However, the best part is the taste, I wouldn't trade it. It makes you feel like you just went to Japan; a very traditional and flavorful ramen.I also liked that although most tables are for 2 people, they accommodated quickly for my party of 3. They gave us kids cups with a lid (which was a perfect save when my kid knocked it over), little utensils and plates. I appreciated their thoughtfulness on that regard, it saved me time trying to keep them clean during their meal. Definitely a must!“

The half-sized tempura udon was perfect for me; I wasn't super hungry at the time and don't usually eat a lot anyway, so it filled me up without leaving me feeling stuffed.Came here while waiting for doors to open for a show at the Largo. I got there relatively early, just after 6pm, which turned out to be good because it seemed like they filled up with all of the theatre-goers who were evidently also waiting for doors open.I had a bit of a wait after I ordered, maybe around 10-15 minutes, max. One of the servers saw me looking around and proactively told me it was because they were making all of the udon orders together; I appreciated how attentive they were, to notice that I was wondering about my order. I didn't mind the wait too much anyway, because I needed to fill the time until 7pm.“

It was amazing!!! It’s not a typical Korean kimchi fried rice. It has garlicky and tangy flavors. The runny egg yolk blended well with the rice.We also got cream cheese crab Rangoon, fried dumplings and veggie egg rolls. LOVED their sweet and sour dipping sauce. We asked for extra to bring home.Very casual, fast and friendly service. You order and pay at the counter. Over multiple visits, consistently the team is so knowledgeable about their menu (ingredients, preparation, avoiding cross-contact) and is so attentive and kind. I want to particularly acknowledge Paul (manager), Matt, and Landry for excellence in service. I was struck by how well prepared the team is.FacilityThe restaurant itself is very sleek and beautiful. There was a long wait for a table, but it was well worth it. The restaurant has a nice system of texting you when the table is ready so that you can explore the mall while you wait. There were many private booths, and also large tables. I also saw a private room in the corner.FoodOf course they have their famous dishes but I also want to highlight some of their other dishes that we particularly enjoyed:- Tofu noodle salad (fresh and tasty appetizer)- Taiwanese cabbage (light and flavorful)- Boba milk tea (not too sweet at all, more black tea forward)“

“I've lived in this area almost 3 years and have been wanting to try it since. It definitely didn't disappoint. The crispy rice and spicy tuna was on point. Large portions and truly crispy.I had the vegan ramen , ordered spicy but was hardly spicy. We asked for more chili paste. The noodles weren't as soft as I like but that's a personal preference I guess. My son had the seafood ramen which he enjoyed.I also really enjoyed their Thai Tea. Most places make it too sweet but here, it was just right.Space is small but we saw two large groups seated comfortably inside.Would definitely come back and try other items.“

“Service was a little slow for having 3 tables in the whole building. The food was really good. We ordered some drunken noodles and 2 pad see ew. They were delicious. I asked for a 7 spice level. Boy, did it have me sweating. Even though it was spicy I couldn't stop eating.“

“EXCEPTIONAL for a strip mall. For sushi lovers or foodies - this actually IS good sushi. Soft supple rolls. So tasty you almost don’t need sauces - a sign of quality ingredients. Look at the amount of eel on this; a sigh this place respects good food done well, and respects and cares about their customers. I drive across town from Toluca Lake for this.“

“Wonderful Owners! Give them a try!I'm a foodie and I like trying all types of food and restaurants, especially Filipino food. I sometimes get turned away from going because feel like I will be out of place. I was craving something sweet and started searching Yelp in Panorama City for a spot to grab Turon to try for my first time. I landed on Sally's, so I stopped in after seeing the good reviews. It seemed like a small family run place that does mostly take out orders from small to large. They were getting ready to close but I still I asked about their Turon. They were sold out for the day and kindly advised it usually best to order ahead because they do sell out and it's best to get them fresh. I believe it was the owners, a man and woman working who also asked me how I heard about them and started explaining all about the food choices, providing recommendations, showing pictures and how to order for next time. The best part was they did have 1extra Turon and gave it to me free and refused to charge me. I really wanted to pay but they said it was a sample so I knew what they tasted like for the next time. Honestly, this made my day!!! The owners made me feel so comfortable and welcomed as they could tell it was my first time visiting and I was out of place. It made me feel like I was at my Filipino friends house who is always making delicious food to try. I'll definitely be back to grab more Turon and try all their food. I love supporting small business that appreciate their customers like I saw today. Thank you!!!!!“

“The people here are so nice! We showed up very late and they were gracious about taking our order. Then, we ordered a Thai Iced Tea when they had already shut down the card machine and we didn’t have cash, so she just gave it to us for free. Amazing place, would come again for sure!!“

“It was completely unexpected when I stepped in.A clean, bright and spacious restaurant with a slight sense of design. If you didn’t tell me, I thought it was an online beauty coffee shop. It’s rare to get hot soup in the United States. This Vietnamese pho restaurant is my go-to soup dish these days in the United States. The enhanced flavor of the nine-story pagoda and the high-quality beef,Paired with Q-bombed rice noodles, it’s really a perfect meal! And a bowl of beef sambal pho is less than US$20.Really thank God I can only give it a thumbs up!The roasted pork neck and spring rolls are also quite good. And it’s close to the Hollywood area,Definitely the best food choice while visiting tourist attractions!“

“Such great Chinese food! I'm glad they're open on Tuesdays now. I usually get pick up for Chicken Fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, or Shanghai noodles. The food is always perfect and delicious. Today though... I ordered SnS Chicken and when I went to pick it up they had told me they are no longer mixing the sauce in because it gets soggy. I love it soggy!! And it's not even soggy. Just a perfect sauce mix ratio. So who ever complained about it being soggy... you just ruined it!!! I'll order it next time and ask that the sauce is mixed in.“

“Street parking on Van Nuys Blvd as well as a few spots in the back. Not crowded at 11:30 on a Monday. Great variety of sushi and everything we tried was fresh and delicious. Service was friendly. Prices were not excessive. There were no pets when we were there but knowing that they are allowed does concern me and gives doubts about future visits. If they had an outside area JUST for furry visitors and restricted the inside area I would like that much better. The serving sizes were average. Spent $100.00 on lunch for 2 which for me is becoming the new norm.“

“Check out O'Gusto Pizza and Pasta for a taste of mall food court simplicity that packs a flavorful punch! The service is quick and friendly, making it a breeze to grab your grub and get back to shopping. I went for the O'Gusto 12", and let me tell you, it hit the spot with its perfect mix of toppings. Plus, with upbeat music playing and the lively mall atmosphere, it's the ultimate spot to refuel during your shopping spree. The decor is straightforward but fits right in, adding to the no-frills charm of the place. And let's not forget about cleanliness--both the mall and O'Gusto's storefront are spotless, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Quick tip: if you're dining with a group, be sure to place your order first, so you can eat together, since the wait is 10-15 minutes. Now, onto the pizza itself. O'Gusto serves up a slice of heaven that only gets better as it cools down. With a soft yet slightly crispy crust, it's the kind of pizza that keeps you coming back for more. In short, O'Gusto Pizza and Pasta may be located in a mall food court, but don't let its simplicity fool you--it's a hidden gem serving up deliciousness with every bite. So next time you're shopping 'til you drop, make sure to swing by O'Gusto for a taste of mall magic!“

“10/10! I came here for a solo dinner on a weekday night. The servers were extremely attentive and friendly and made some great menu recommendations. The food came out quickly. “The food here is excellent. I recommend the Thai Fried Rice on Fire, and the Tom Kha Kai Soup w/chicken. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The layout of the restaurant is a clean simple style with an indoor fountain, some decorative plants & flowers, and old-school pictures of life and people in Thailand adorning the walls. Combined with the lighting and "easy-listening" music playing, it creates a very relaxed, laid-back atmosphere.A nice little place to dine out for small groups. Or you can even order-out for delivery or pickup via Postmates.“
