“Little hidden gem inside a liquor store in Shell Beach! I tend to get the chicken shawarma plate with the side of the filet mignon skewer. Chef is friendly and courteous. There are a few picnic tables out front to people watch and enjoy the fresh ocean breeze. My go to spot for delicious Mediterranean food.“

It's a small place on a corner with two other larger Mexican food restaurants right across the street. After one bite of the birria taco, my son said it was the best thing he'd ever had. It was great. The flan was also great. The service was friendly and fast. The lady who took our order didn't speak much English, but we figured it out pretty easily. Great place. Will return every time we are in town!“

“We are from the Bay Area, but Zorro’s is probably my top restaurant for Mexican food among all we frequent. Tastes are exquisite. A very large selection. Staff is friendly and efficient. I wish we could go there each week, but alas, we would have to travel 200 miles to do so. You will not regret this. Enjoy and savor the experience.“

“I almost never leave reviews, but this place was absolutely amazing. My friend and I stopped after a hike on the Pismo preserve to grab a light lunch. I can’t stop thinking about how incredibly delicious my sandwich was. I usually shy away from premade sandwiches because they get soggy and gross, but I ordered the premade veggie sandwich from the display case (against my better judgment). I could not have been more impressed with the quality; the homemade bread, pesto, and fresh cut vegetables anll exquisite enough individually, but heavenly when put together. The bread was thin, but retained its crispness, and the herbaceousness lingered on my pallet. I was planning to save the second half of my sandwich for dinner, but it was too delicious to stop. It was just what the doctor ordered after a long hike: Super satisfying and refreshing.“

We started with appetizers and moved on to a boat load of shared plates for our main meal. Everything came out hot and tasty. We are already taking about a return trip to Mei's in the near future! “If you like seafood, this is your spot. From clam chowder, lobster rolls, fish and chips, this place has it all. They have a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating, and a whole wall of self serve beers on tap. On weekends, they do have a brunch menu available, but the standard menu is also served every day. They have two types of lobster rolls: The Original and a Jalapeno LimeWe got one of each and each roll was stuffed full of big chunks of lobster. The original was served either with drawn butter or a garlic herb mayo, but per the suggestion of the cashier, we ordered it dressed in butter with the mayo on the side. The rolls are $30 each but do come with thicc cut steak fries. You can opt to sub out the fries for house made chips if you like more of a crunch. The jalapeno lime roll was very light in flavor, and could have used more butter or a mayo to dress it up a bit. The bun was nicely buttered and toasted though, which helped. I love that it was topped with crispy fried onions for a little extra flava and crunch!If there is one dish you're going to order, make it the poke nachos. It's super saucy so some bites can be a little overwhelming. A little less sauce would make this even better, but overall, highly recommend giving it a try! The chunks of ahi tasted fresh, and I loved that they added avocado and seaweed salad. This was so refreshing over the wonton chips. I opted for the fisherman's catch so I could have a little bit of everything. This came with 1 large piece of cod fish, lots of shrimp, and a few strips of calamari over fries. This was served with tartar sauce, cocktail sauce and lemon wedges. Normally I would squeeze lemon over all my fried seafood but it didn't even need it! Idk what they do with the batter/seasoning but I love loved loved that all the fried seafood had a citrussy flavor to it already. This would be a good sized plate to share! The staff were all really nice and attentive and we loved the vibes of the outdoor seating. Midway through our meal, a guy went on the stage to play some live music, so that was a nice touch. If I'm ever back in Pismo, I'm making it a point to come back for more eats!“

“I did not catch the name of our server but he was very nice and even recommended some items that we tried and enjoyed. I would recommend getting the quesadilla appetizer as that was the best thing we tried. Other than that we also ordered the Baja street salad and the burrito bowl with added chicken for both.Can I also just say that 5$+ for chicken add on is quite a lot.Anyways we overall enjoyed this brew house.Kid-friendliness: I suppose they are kid friendly. “So the manager I believe from “Brads Restaurant” came out and gave me a sample of their Clam chowder only because I was eating “Splash Cafe” clam chowder bowl outside leaning against “Brads Restaurant” which I do have to say I think “Brads Restaurant” clam chowder has more flavor then “Splash Cafe” clam chowder smart move from “Brads restaurant” because now I’ll prefer “Brads” instead of “Splash Cafe” from now on.“

“Food was excellent! Very fresh with all of the dishes. The Yellowtail collar was excellent. I highly recommend the Fire on Fire Roll and the OMG! Great rolls!!! The restaurant sits on top of the hill and the view is outstanding. They have five Tapenaka tables and is always fun when they light up the fires. We had Green Tea and Mango Mochi because you can't have Sushi without Mochi;) The service was amazing. Everything came out quick and our server was very attentive. We will definitely come back! “Came for Mothers Day after passing by for over a year. We made 4pm reservation and were seated within 10 minutes. There were free mini margaritas while waiting. The steak we ordered we shared and thank goodness because it was huge! You are brought onion rings after being seated and they were delicious! Our waitress was prompt, fast and very nice. I did have my piece of steak cooked a little bit more and there were no questions asked. Food was delicious! Sat by the window to enjoy the ocean view. Do know to ring Cash or there is a surcharge for using a card. Great experience.Vegetarian options: Corn on the cob with elote was yummy. Garlic mashed potatoes delicious.“
