“Every McDonald's is very busy but this McDonald's had the restaurant clean and food hot &fresh in my experience! We Appreciate that employees and kitchen crew for doing their best to get the order out !!! Recommend the spicy mchickens !”
“Great savory breakfast. Staff is very friendly and the food comes out pretty quickly. I come here every time I'm in town.Parking: Free parking behind restaurant, read signs as there are towed spots.”
“Fantastic blend of Mexican and Indian cuisine. Kind hearted service and delicious food. Cauliflower tacos, pibil chicken bowl and jerra chicken bowl were all fabulous. Will definitely be frequenting this place!”
“All the meats are so fresh, I love beef tongue the most. As some comments suggested, don't cook too long so I cooked majority of those as medium rare, which tastes really good. Service is also good, they always gave big smile. Not like some other bbq restaurants, there is no smoke, it's like high level Japanese bbq restaurants. For sure I'll come back!”
“Just want to extend a kudos to the staff. Good food, FRESHLY MADE IN FRONT OF YOU, worth the wait. The owner and Aurora are super organized, pleasant, and food is served expeditiously. Thank you for a great experience.”
“I've been wanting to try the southeast Asian food here for so long, and I'm glad I got the chance to recently! They earned the Michelin bib gourmand award for a couple years. They're also all over social media. I think the fact that they're so popular makes it hard to get seated here, and their hours were hard for me to work with (they're closed Wednesdays). The restaurant is hard to spot because they're within a medical/business building. You have to enter the driveway from a busy street and then right away make a U-turn to park underground. There is a stairway that connects the underground parking lot with the upstairs.I was here with only one other person, so we were able to get seated quickly. Between the two of us, we started with the roti canai with chicken curry (the server convinced us that it tasted better than the roti canai without curry) and the kaya toast with butter (again, the server convinced us that it tasted better with butter). Both indeed were very tasty. The curry chicken with the roti may have been unnecessary though. Then I had the dry wanton mee w curry chicken N1 $13.95. This curry chicken was delicious with the dark meat. I think they were very generous with the amount of noodles. My eating partner's Singapore style hainan chicken rice R1 $14.95 was ok, she said. To me it seemed like there was not a lot of chicken, but it is their signature dish/best seller.I would come back to try their other dishes and perhaps what they call white coffee. I might skip on the toast in the future because that's not really a meal to me.”
“Not gonna lie... this Vietnamese cafe serving up pho as well as some other small and special dishes came up on my radar because I saw some fellow Yelpers go to an event here. The food looked/ sounded amazing and it's not too far from where I'm working at the moment. The service here is friendly and the decor /vibe feels and looks like a modern Vietnamese restaurant or cafe. I was really tempted to order the pho here, but opted for the butterfly pea sticky rice (or Xoi Thap Cam) instead. From the pictures, the dish looked beautiful and it's something I haven't had at Vietnamese restaurants in a long time. Also, I think I've had pho a few times around that time...(it's been cold) I also ordered the Bluegrass Lemonade to wash it down. The sticky rice dish had lots of delicious flavors and textures from all the different items. Such a fun dish that's presented very well and a delicious alternative to what probably gets ordered most here (the pho). Don't get me wrong, I definitely want to come back to try their pho as well, but was so happy to try the dish that I ordered. Place is located in a tiny lot/strip mall that was pretty close to a freeway. They have their own parking, but it might get tight. I think there may be street parking close by.”
“This place used to serve Dalian cuisine, but in the past two years it has changed to Hong Kong dim sum, which is really good. My two daughters love coming here to eat. There are not many dishes, but they are all delicious. Every time, I must order preserved egg and lean meat porridge, chicken feet, sesame balls, fresh meat rice rolls, and barbecued pork rice rolls. It's available for takeout, but it's still fresh and delicious. David is very friendly. It has the fireworks of Guangdong and Hong Kong, as well as American hospitality. I hope to become a long-established store and keep it open.”
“I am a picky person when it comes to eating out. When my sister said a noodle house I wasn’t sure about it. But I decided to really try it. Well it was great I would recommend this place and go back again. Quiet little place in Arcadia. Very clean. Very helpful servers and reasonably priced.Parking: Behind restaurant plenty of free parking.”
“I liked sichuan impression, but wasn’t a huge fan. Dishes were creative and tasty, but not outstanding, and the service was all electronic so although the staff were kind it didn’t feel very personal.”
“Authentic Chinese food specializing in noodles. Beef and pork on the limited menu, no chicken.House special fried noodles with pork was excellent. Also had pork meatballs and cilantro pork dumplings. All excellent and a nice proportion.Only 6 tables, luckily 1 available when we arrived at 1:20 pm. We will come back.”
“A highly recommended place, clean, very attentive, with plenty of parking, very delicious food, 100% familiar but above all the good energy that is transmitted...the dish shown is ROASTED MEAT AND PINEAPPLE ”
“Wow. The quality and craftsmanship on the sushi here is awesome. Tried some of their rolls for take out and the wife and I were blown away with the presentation even for take out. Will be coming back here soon.”
“Ordered Tonkatsu Curry, crème brûlée latte, 6 premiums, eggs Benedict, and cheesy gyudon.EVERYTHING WAS AMAZINGEveryone left their plates clean. Some of the best Japanese food I have had in a while.10/10 would come again”
“Borneo Eatery specializes in Indonesian, Malaysian, and Singaporean cuisine. I ordered the Singaporean Laksa and Beef Randang plate: The Laksa was delicious! It's made with a strong shrimp broth based with light curry aftertaste; the addition of crispy fried shallots elevated the taste. The soup arrived pipping hot filled with generous ingredients of fish cake, tofu, shrimp, bean sprouts, corn... the house made egg noodles were amazing! Definitely get it with egg noodles. Very good I thought. The Beef Rendang was good, but I thought the beef shank was a little chewy, needed to be more tender. Overall flavor was good with all the components (fried tofu, curry egg, and spicy peanut anchovy) on the plate. Service was efficient and Ambiance is ok. The place looks renovated and very clean. Parking is easy peasy: park at the FREE parking structure behind the restaurant. Payment: Credit or Cash.”
“Sushi Kisen continues to punch well above its weight and it is 1/3 the price for the same quality as some of the now outrageously expensive sushi places in LA.For about $120, our omakase today included about 10 courses and 2 additional pieces we selected at the end. The quality of the nigiri is self-evident, particularly with the chutoro and the Nemuro uni. Another particular favorite was shiro-ebi. The chef confirmed that it is from Toyama. It should be mentioned that some pieces are ever so slightly on the saltier side (I confirmed that they do season with a drop of salt on some pieces), which I ended up liking but it might be a surprise to some. Extra points for the shari, which was flavorful on its own without taking away from the fish. I also highly recommend asking the chef if they have any seasonal items. We were very pleasantly surprised by our tsuika orders. When I do not have the time to enjoy an omakase at the bar, I would recommend their chirashi bowls.”
“Lots of food/drink/dessert choices in the buildingVegetarian options: The restaurants have some decent vegetarian choicesParking: Parking lot behind buildingKid-friendliness: They will totally want to try all the dessert and drinksWheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair elevator near front entrance”
“Wow, what a selection of ready-to-eat meals in which you can choose to microwave at the self-serve condiments & utensils area. Plus, it's a mini market for all your Indonesian cooking needs. Outdoor-only dining and parking is a little challenging.”
“The beers on tap keep me coming back! Winston is awesome every time, and offers the best suggestions. I appreciate the curation of the beers in rotation <333. Real beer people. Thanks y’all!!”
“Evelyn was a great help! My first time here and she gave great descriptions on food items I had questions about!Dietary restrictions: Lots of options to substituteParking: Brea!Kid-friendliness: Child friendly mealsWheelchair accessibility: Ramps all round the place”
“Food selections are easy and plentiful with amazing fast service from their staff! The whole ambience of this place is very luxurious from the food to the interior decor.”
“I have been to this restaurant numerous times, and the food is amazing. Being from the Caribbean, it is hard to sometimes find authentic food, and this place hits the nail. It is also very affordable, and the servings are more than enough, which is a big plus.”
“A bit pricey, but it's an excellent Pho restaurant. Food are really delicious ? Parking might be difficult. Tiny plaza with narrow parking spaces. But people come and go quickly... I took out 1 ⭐ for their parkings. Really hate their parking.”
“Service was amazing, the waitress Angelica was very nice and more interactive which we really appreciated. Very quick service from seating to drinks and getting our food”
“A feast to the eyes and for the palate. However, the whole omakase felt a bit rushed because there was a train of people standing behind us waiting to be seated for the next appointed timeslots. Also, they said it's 10 sushi but it's really like 7 because there's an appetizer that was more like a small plate of Hawaiian poke, a miso soup side dish and a green tea ice cream dessert at the end.Other than that, good experience though.”
“Place is always wonderful. Spacious, fast, and clean. This branch is particularly great. Individual pots, lots of variety and fast servicePeople are very nice here and are very attentive. Cannot as for better service.Food here is always great. They come out very fast and they always have fresh food.”
“The food at Henry's restaurant is delicious, with top-quality ingredients. You can't get enough of the Vietnamese lobster noodles, and the beef tenderloin melts in your mouth. It never disappoints. You can try it, you will definitely like it!”
“My church group & I came here on Friday 2/23/24 to celebrate my birthday & our server Shantier was exceptional. She was attentive, polite, and friendly. Our food was brought promptly and didn't have to ask for refills cos she was on it! Definitely plan on coming back!”
“BEST Taiwanese beef noodle soup hands down! I've never been wow'd by Taiwanese beef noodle soup and this place was a first! They're a small shop but has some big tables for large groups. Food:- House special braised beef noodle (5/5): the soup is PACKED with flavor. Tendon is so soft. Noodle is perfectly cooked. - Braised pork rice (4/5): tender pork. Not too flavorful. Decent dish overall- Pig ears with red oil (4/5): on the less crunchy side but good flavor- Red oil wontons (2/5): both the wontons and chili oil lacked flavor”
“Great food! Everything we’ve had has been great! Ate here a few times. The guys are always very nice on the phone and in person! The woman working on 1/8/24 around 3:45pm is horrible! Rude on the phone, and in person. Picked up the phone, then set it down, and never returned. In person instead of asking questions like a normal employee, she looks at you like you are one of her kids bothering her when she’s on the phone. Avoid this chick and you’ll enjoy your visit. :)”
