“Here from out of town. Not in the most nicest part of Bakersfield but our barista was so knowledgeable and truly had a passion for making great coffee. Their speciality is Cuban coffee. As someone who has personally been to Cuba, it was pretty spot on! Definitely felt like I was transported back to Havana. Will most likely visit again if I find myself back in town.“

Every item purchased tasted wonderful and spot-on good. The owner is very nice and a joy to talk to. We are definitely coming back to try other pastries we have yet to try.“
“Carnitas has a great variety of foods. The meat counter has lots of good items. The chicken I bought was especially good. There are many other options I haven't tried yet. In the bakery section, there were many pastries to choose from. I bought several different different items. Each was very fresh and tasty. You can't go wrong shopping here.“

“This is a sweet family owned bakery with even sweeter treats! Whenever I go, I get a dozen bulillos and I also like to try different types of pan dulce. I feel like there are always new options each time! Additionally, I'm always surprised at how affordable everything is for being so delicious and plentiful! 10/10 will definitely come again! Not only for the treats but to also support one of the few Hispanic family owned bakeries in Bakersfield. Brings back memories of the panaderia from my childhood that I would go to with my grandfather, and the brothers that work there when I go are always friendly and welcoming.“

And the place is pretty big has lots to see with many cakes on display. I love coming here in the morning to try the fresh sweet bread they put out daily. And the torta bread is very soft and always fresh and im told they deliver to many taco shops and restaurants in the areas around bakersfield.“

I hate when I get a donut that's greasy but here at this place the donuts doesn't have that greasy taste, Blended mocha is a real treat, sometime you go to the a coffee place an they put to much ice an can't taste the mocha , Here I taste mocha an coffee it was delicious, especially in this heat that Bakersfield is know for. “These cookies are delicious. Store is impeccably clean. Sometimes the workers aren’t super friendly and put your box on the counter, show you the cookies and then just turn and leave without closing the box. Sounds silly I am perfectly capable of closing the box. I just then have to put all of my stuff down to close the box that they literally just opened. Other than that…. Fantastic.“
