“Wow!!!! Hands down my new favorite Vietnamese restaurant. Their beef pho is delicious? and out of this world. I’ve been a big fan of pho ? and have been eating this dish for years just about everywhere I travel to when I’m out of state or in the mood for it here in the city. This is my new favorite spot for pho. Wish I can give them 10 stars because they deserve it.“

“Not gonna lie... this Vietnamese cafe serving up pho as well as some other small and special dishes came up on my radar because I saw some fellow Yelpers go to an event here. The food looked/ sounded amazing and it's not too far from where I'm working at the moment. The service here is friendly and the decor /vibe feels and looks like a modern Vietnamese restaurant or cafe. I was really tempted to order the pho here, but opted for the butterfly pea sticky rice (or Xoi Thap Cam) instead. From the pictures, the dish looked beautiful and it's something I haven't had at Vietnamese restaurants in a long time. Also, I think I've had pho a few times around that time...(it's been cold) I also ordered the Bluegrass Lemonade to wash it down. The sticky rice dish had lots of delicious flavors and textures from all the different items. Such a fun dish that's presented very well and a delicious alternative to what probably gets ordered most here (the pho). Don't get me wrong, I definitely want to come back to try their pho as well, but was so happy to try the dish that I ordered. Place is located in a tiny lot/strip mall that was pretty close to a freeway. They have their own parking, but it might get tight. I think there may be street parking close by.“

“This is everything a Vietnamese sandwich shop should be. #1 or #3, iced coffee, a produce box on top of a milk crate for seating, and soap operas on the tele. It's a food stall. Nothing more, nothing less. Walked out of there with 3 Bahn Mis, iced coffee, and a soda for $25 (not including tip; don't forget to tip). Actually, I walked out without anything because...soaps operas. Just left with a memory of what I wish I had at home“

“I had been hearing a lot of good things about the food here so I finally made my way into Silverlake to check it out. As you are probably already aware, this is a take out or delivery restaurant. You cannot dine in here. You actually can't even enter the building. The front door is a two piece door and when they are open for business, the top part of the door will be open. You order from there and then wait on the sidewalk for your order to be ready. You can also call in an order in advance or use various delivery services. There was not anyone waiting to order when I got there so I was able to walk directly up to the door and immediately order. I had to wait approximately 10 minutes for my order to be prepared and in those 10 minutes they got very busy. Six people came up to pickup phone or delivery orders during that time and those pickups went very quickly. A line began to form to order during that time and when I left with my order there were 5 other people who had placed others and were now waiting for their orders to be prepared and an additional 7 other people waiting in line to place orders. They prepare their food quickly but keep in mind, they need to cook the food after you place your order. If there is already a line to place your order and people waiting for their food to finish cooking, all of that will add to the amount of time it will take before your order has been prepared. If you are in a hurry and need your order quickly, perhaps you should consider another restaurant such as a fast food restaurant. They do prepare the food as quickly as they can but keep in mind, you will wait approximately 5 to 10 minutes at a minimum and the more people you see standing around out front will add to that wait time. Is it worth the wait? Oh yes, it is worth it. I had the popcorn chicken, Summer Rolls and the Caramelized Pork. The Popcorn chicken and its dipping sauce was a real treat for the taste buds. The chicken is double fried but is not dry on the inside and the dipping sauce has the perfect bite of spices to it. The summer rolls are huge. Your choice of protein or vegetables only. They really could be a meal within themselves and the vegetables were very fresh with lots of vegetable crunch in every bite. The Caramelized Pork came with sticky rice and cooked with hard boiled eggs. It was as good as it sounds (which is very good). The portion sizes were very good with my order easily being enough for two people with some leftovers. Truly, the summer rolls are so large that you cannot help but have leftovers. Parking can be very tricky here. There are yellow painted loading zones in front of the restaurant and the mom & pop grocery store next door so if you are just picking up an order that had already been placed, you shouldn't have a problem. You may find yourself desperately looking for a place to park though. Keep that in mind but don't let that scare you off. You will be thankful for the effort you put in when you are finally home and enjoying the fruits of your troubles. BTW, I hear that their Bahn Mi sandwiches are so good. I look forward to trying that next time.“

“I have mixed feelings about this place. While it has been my go to spot on rainy days this past season, it's been a hit or miss. Sometimes it's like the best pho ever and other times the meat is really undercooked and the broth wasn't hot enough to cook it further which resulted in a rather rubbery experience. The broth had a hint of sweetness and a fermented fish taste. I love the pepper stuffed with Cha. Oh and the veggies that is served with the bun nam have a crunch to every bite. The staff is exceptionally friendly, providing great service, and the portion sizes are satisfying. However, it's crucial to manage expectations and avoid comparing the food here to the offerings in San Gabriel Valley or Little Saigon area. -1 star for the pricing, but considering the prime location and convenience, it's understandable. We were walked thru the menu so thoroughly and were checked in on throughout our meal.We started with the fish sauce fries and I wish I had some more now! This is so unique and so delicious. The fries were made to perfection and the fish sauce spray they added (in cute Chanel perfume dupes!) added an extra layer of fun.We tried their top 2 drinks - Flying Dragon (in honor ofLNY) and the Mid-Autumn Dream which was supposed to be a temporary drink that landed full residency on the menu. Both were beautiful and delicious. Also shout out the ice they use for their drinks - to perfection!TO THE PHO!!!! Wow the immediate taste of the broth blew me away. “I got the level 7 K#1 soup, which wasn't too spicy. For a spicy meal I would ask for a higher number. My father ordered the level 7 ramen stir fried and said it was very good, not very spicy. We shared a level 7 and a level 10 BBQ wing. “This order was delivered by GrubHub and was delivered in appropriate time. The flavor of the pho broth was a little underwhelming and left me wanting a stronger taste. The restaurant does take the time to create an authentic broth but may cut the time short, leading to a lighter flavor. Since the broth can easily make or break a good bowl of Pho, this broth is 4 out of 5 stars, which is great for a regular location. While it's not the best in the area, it still has decent flavor. The chicken was a little chewy and did not soften after sitting in the broth for a while. The freshness of the chicken is questionable. As a frequent pho enthusiast, I was disappointed that this restaurant did not offer spring rolls, which is my go-to appetizer when judging a pho restaurant. This time I opted for the fried egg rolls and I was not impressed with the texture or flavor. Everything in the egg roll tasted old and lacked a desirable flavor. The pho broth container and the chicken &noodles container were both of good quality, as there were no spills in the bag, and kept everything warm during delivery. However, the pho ingredients and the egg rolls were delivered in Styrofoam packaging which is environmentally irresponsible. As seen in the pictures, the container with the egg rolls was either cut or melted in an unusual way. I suspect the restaurant cut the box to allow for venting and to prevent melting. Getting rid of the Styrofoam containers would yield a higher service rating.Overall, not too bad. I'd visit this restaurant again if I'm in the area.“

“My go to spot for 7 courses of beef and baked cat fish. Here's why:- Great value for a larger group (Last visit medium catfish, 4 portions of 7 courses of beef, and a couple of beers was less than $40/pp including tip)- I always leave full and satisfied- It's usually not crazy busy and they have a good amount of tables ( Last visit walked in on a Saturday night for 7 and there was no wait)- Staff is pretty friendly- 10% off with Yelp check-in for birthday celebrations- A handful of TVs if you need to have the game on while dining- They only charge extra for vermicelli and not for extra rice paper or veggiesTips:- It's been mentioned but call ~45 mins in advanced for the baked catfish so it'll be ready for when you show up- There are three main dipping sauces; super funky fermented fish, more mild fish sauce, slightly tart tamarind sauce. You can mix to your level of desired funk but the peanuts, sambal, pickled lemon grass helps temper everything- It's super hands on food, don't be afraid to ask for help if you didn't come with an experienced diner“

“We went to Blossom in search of good pho since the place we usually go was closed. They did not disappoint! I ordered the vegetarian pho which had a super delicious broth with a pleasant ginger flavor. The tofu and veggies were good we well. Blossom is located in a historic square in Chinatown that should not be missed. Great ambiance and the staff were friendly. I highly recommend.“

“Clean takeout only in a small shopping strip. The banh xeo was really good, the sauce, nước Chấm, was actually. There prices were reasonable. Eating there is challenging because they only give you a box so spreading it out to roll it with the lettuce then dip was messy. The accompanying herbs was actually really authentic, là lộc, only the Vietnam we and Japanese would eat.Protip. Eating there is not an option even though they a few stools with wall table but it's actually meant to people waiting to pick up order.“

“Yummy soup! Perfect place to go on a cold day.My girlfriend and I stopped here yesterday for some lunch. As busy and full as the parking lot was, this restaurant was nearly empty with only 3 parties in there around lunch time! It seems like most of the people that were parked there went to get dim sum, AYCE sushi, or Korean BBQ.We knew what we wanted to order (we normally order the same thing everywhere). We ordered A2. Shrimp and Pork Spring Rolls, I got P2. Rare Steak, and she got P1. Flavor Pho Combination. The results:- A2. Shrimp and Pork Spring Rolls: They come in a pair with each cut in half. Accompanied by the usual sauce with peanuts in it. It tasted refreshing and was pretty good.- P2. Rare Steak: I feel like most people order this as it's simple and good. The soup was delicious. I ordered an extra side of rare steak for more protein :). Good soup!- P1. Flavor Pho Combination: My girlfriend said it was really good and she finished a large bowl plus the spring rolls! That says a lot.Service was good. The man who greeted us and helped us out was always smiling and cheerful. We sat ourselves and was helped immediately.Parking was a little bit of a pain since it was packed due to the other restaurants in the plaza. There's only a few spots in the front of the restaurant, and unfortunately two of the spots in front are for curbside pickup for AT&T (what the heck!).I recommend this pho place if you're in the area!“

“great food. we ordered phở for a cool late morning & sat outside so it was perfect. this is northern vnese style phở (which is just a little salty for my taste) but I appreciate the clear & not overly spiced broth. it's a straight forward & authentically honest bowl of phở. there are fresh spices, good quality beef & super tender meat fall-of-the-bone pork ribs. so good & so satisfying. vnse coffee (café sữa đá) is also right on the money! btw, for those who need it, you can load the soup up with siracchia & have a perfect hangover-buster ? you're welcome ? service is prompt & friendly - price is decent but not cheap. all in all, a winner for local norwalk & neighboring city. we'll definitely be back & highly recommend pho anvi. we need to keep good businesses around for fellow foodies.“

“Finally good banh cuon in the SGV so I don't have to drive out to Garden Grove! This little shop is such a gem and run by a grandma, a sweet old lady who doesn't understand a word I say but communicates with me through exchanged smiles and a thumbs up. The banh cuon is bouncy, not super thin, but I love the bite to it. The pork filling is so flavorful and it's a great portion size for the price. I love that the bean sprouts and cucumbers come blanched, the fried sweet potato is perfectly fried. The food and the place just feels homey. It's one of those shops I want to gatekeep all for myself but also want everyone to know about so they never close down... hahah!“

“The parking structure right behind it can get pretty packed, but we have never had trouble parking there during prime dinner time. We have also never waited to be seated here, although the restaurant is quite bustling. Service is polite and very quick. If you are hungry, come here as your food comes out fast. The soup tastes light, but flavorful. Compared to other pho restaurants in the area, I feel like the broth does not rely on seasonings as much for flavor. They are also generous with the meat in the soups. The large doesn't look much larger than the medium, but it actually is. I can easily finish a medium soup, but cannot finish the large at all.The inside is clean and casual, with minimal decor. Perfect for a quick, casual meal with friends.“

“First time and decided for takeout, as there's not much room for eating. The menu was pretty big with sandwiches "Banhmi", Pho, BBQ with rice and Chowmien, so worried that the food was going to be mediocre - BUT surprise that the 3 different dishes we ordered and egg rolls was just yum. “Been wanting to try this place out. I got a to-go order and ordered the combo number 1, spring rolls and Thai tea. The soup is really good! I love the broth and it's probably one of the best I've ever tasted so far. The spring rolls were good. I wasn't a huge fan of the peanut sauce, but it wasn't terrible. And the Thai tea tasted pretty good! It was a little pricey, more than i had hoped to spend, but mostly worth it when im dying from a cold and want pho lol. I'd recommend this place to people wanting pho and I'd definitely come again. When ordering, the guy on the phone was very nice and when paying as well. All in all, I had a great experience.“
