They also offer $5 off all their whole pizzas. Took advantage of this and ordered their That's My Boy pizza. Suuuuuper good. Comes with pepperoni, ricotta cheese, jalapeño, honey, and red sauce. The balance of spiciness and sweetness is perfect. I noticed they had a bunch of beers on draft so it would be a great place to chill and have some drinks, too.“

If you like good food this super friendly, no fuss but all flavour place, is one of your best options on Coronado. Went with my kids who loved the huge pancakes, soft french toast, and crispy fries. I had the BLT-A, tried some of my dads fish tacos and my wife’s chorizo burrito, and look forward to going back for it all again sometime soon.“

“I visited from Scottsdale, Arizona was looking forward to enjoying the true essence of your establishment in California. The food and SERVICE were on point as usual. The french fries were hot and crispy, and were quite good, although they felt that a pinch of salt would have elevated the taste even further. nevertheless, you’ll always be my favourite.“

“Classic Barrio Logan staple. Really liked the basic cheeseburger with the chile gueros. Ingredients are fresh, tasty, and savory. The animal style fries or Jimi fries as they are coined, are pretty tasty. Would return. Price point is a bit high, but I’d say every now and then it’s totally worth it. The art direction within the space is spontaneous and gives a street art style which is cool. I should mention the staff is great and relaxed, too.“

“For a person who never eats fast food, except In-N-Out Burger. You always have professional staff, kindly making sure your order is always correct. If you never tried In-N-Out burger, I highly recommend it. You have numerous choices when it comes to burgers, but in my opinion in and out there, the only one that’s consistent.“

“We came in from las vegas and decided to try THE BALBOA SOUTH after hearing good things. We were not disappointed. The overall environment was clean, up beat, and family oriented. “I enjoy dining at Rudford’s. I have been here a few times over the years, but only recently became a regular. I appreciate they are open 24/7. Many staff members like Jordan & Louie have been here a long time & it shows. Everyone takes great care of the customers. Every menu item I have had tastes great. So far, my favorites are: beef & barley soup, veggie omelette, salmon salad, French toast, beyond burger & meatloaf. I thoroughly enjoy the 1970’s music, which is what I grew up with. I look forward to many years here & I will bring friends!“

They just keep making this neighborhood bar better, most recently expanding their space with an arcade. I got to be the last burger before they sold out. it was so juicy but honestly this sauce they put on top has like southwest flavoring, and they have roasted poblano peppers on top of the burger. So much flavor but not falling apart. This place is clean, nice and the most accommodating staff. The owners were there and took care of us personally. It's definitely worth the line.“

“Ordered through Door Dash our first night in town. Never had their food before and would definitely order from here again. Sandwiches tasted great, but the steak and cheese seemed a little light on meat. Meltburger was cooked perfectly, not over done.We got the garlic Parmesan fries and they weren't good at all. We ordered them without spice for our kiddo, but it came with it anyway so she gave up after one bite. The spice looked like an oil blend that just made everything soggy and the raw garlic was overpowering for us, so can't recommend those. The toasted sandwiches were ridiculously crispy. It seriously tasted like I was at a restaurant and they came right from the kitchen . The cheese stayed gooey and the bread stayed crunchy- I don't know how they did that. We were so tired from a long flight that I forgot to take any pictures, but I think the portion sizes were reasonable and everything looked appetizing and assembled well, not just thrown together. We might order another time this week before we head home.“

And their sweet chili & lemon pepper wings are really good. Packed with flavor. Tried the wagyu sliders but they were NOT a hit. If you want a great sloppy Joe, or a good salad, this is a good place. “Top notch food, service and atmosphere. We have wanted to visit and try Dukes for a while now and made it happen a couple of days ago. When we went in we were greeted by a very friendly cashier. We let her know it was our first time and she let us know we were going to love it. She was so right!! We ended up getting a single dukes onion burger, a chicken sandwich and the steak and blue cheese fries. It seemed pricy when we looked at the board, but when we got our food we saw it was huge. So worth the prices paid. In actuality you are paying more at a fast food burger joint for sub par food. Everything we got at Dukes was amazing. The burger was melt in your mouth delicious. The chicken sandwich had an amazing dill sauce on it that just made it spectacular. The steak and blue cheese fries were topped off with a sauce that is a total meat have. It was fantastic. We will be back soon to try more options and to say hi to the great crew there. Go check it out. You won't be disappointed.“

I get food from here like 2 times a month, I usually get the gyro, patty melt, burger, Philly cheese steak, skewer meal, but this time I got a gyro sandwich and was extra hungry, so I decided to get something extra, which was this chix skewer that was $9.99. I thought that it would be a good size skewer but this was what I got when I got home. “10 ⭐️ establishment! Brand new store with plenty of parking. You walk into this place and everything is in order and clean. Peter is easy to talk to and always makes you feel welcome. I’ve stopped in about 4 times now and he seems to know everyone’s name that walks into the store. Well stocked with all the essentials that you want. Snacks, beer, candy and liquor. “I was going to say that these are the best burgers in Imperial Beach, but that doesn't go nearly far enough, these are in the top burgers in San Diego, period. I wait until I've been to a place at least 3 times before leaving a review and it's so nice to leave a 5-star review when it's so we'll earned. I've eaten there and I've taken them home and they nail the same rating every time. My favorite burger is Al's burger exactly at it comes. They offer 1/4 lbs and 1/2 lbs burgers and they nail the temperature, every time, I order them medium rare. Their staff is so attentive, welcoming and in the best mood and it's infectious. The shakes are absolutely delicious as well. I've only had a few of their burgers and shakes, so I'll be happy to review again when I'm able to order something other than their delicious burgers, it might never happen. “The staff was super friendly, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was great. I have a gluten allergy and the staff was very helpful in informing me of what was a possible cross contamination risk. I ultimately had the fishermen's stew and they were able to give me a gluten free alternative to the traditional bread that is served with it. It was delicious and perfect. The lavender lemon drop was also really good!“

She is addicted to their deep-fried burritos (simple but tasty little gut bombs they are) and the peanut butter fudge shake I created for her.
