“Amazing vegetarian and vegan-friendly food, super affordable prices, and generous portions! My siblings and I were stumped on where to get a vegan-friendly dinner when we were visiting Boulder Creek, and I’m so glad we found the Red Pearl. Every dish we ordered was delicious. Our favorites were the Dan Dan Noodles, a broccoli dish, and the Mapo Tofu. I would order from here again in a heartbeat and wish we lived closer!!“

“Good coffee, great lox bagels friendly staff. Stay away from Starbucks and their corporate corn syrup sludge. Jenna Sue's makes proper espresso drinks and has much better food as well. The baristas are fast and super cool people. The flavors were great. The third item that I ordered was the short ribs the portion was big. They have an orange quail that I want to come back and try all in all the experience was great.“

And pleasantly surprised to find out that they do indeed have mimosas, was not expecting them to have any booze so, I can officially call it brunch!Will definitely be back, and now I’m extra sad that I missed the French versus Italian community night dinner.“

“Love their vegan donuts!!! They are one of the best vegan donuts I have ever had, and I have tried many a donut shop in search for a good vegan donut. The texture is great, like a cake donut. They are only available on the weekends, but worth stopping by.“

She gave us a meal on the house after apologizing several times. “Tasty chile rellenos with rice and beans. Very nice taco and enchilada. So cheesy! We were expecting salty or oily but we got neither so it was great. You can set up your thick tortilla chips with pico de gallo or a couple of other salsas. You order up front counter, pay and they bring your food to you.“

“Was trying to get some early drinks on a Friday afternoon in Los Gatos, most places weren't open yet, stumbled across Loma and decided to try it out. It's on a small side street and easy to miss, but look for the colorful chairs and maybe even some live music out front. Once you get inside, you order at the bar and take the a number to your table/seat. Good selection of craft beers and tasty. Good bar food (above average compared to most places). Will be back to try more beers!“

“Over 10 years I’ve been eating at this place. And I probably always will when in the area. The food this last time was fine overall (I had the corned beef) though the short French fries (there was no real hash) were dark and hard. And the bakery section did not have the good selection it used to have: first time I didn’t get a dessert. Other than that, it’s a great place.“

“Our party of 5 plus a dog (on the patio) celebrated a big birthday and all went extremely well. We brought our own champagne and cake and the restaurant was very accommodating. Our server Franchesco was outstanding. He anticipated our needs without our asking and had good recommendations. Food was very good and we left full and happy with our experience.“

They did such an amazing job not only getting all the food prepared in time but packaging it in large catering trays in cardboard boxes for easy transportation. “This place was good and I mean like really good food. I'm giving it a four because I think it would be more appropriate to call it a "lounge", not a tavern. Everything is highfalutin, which accompanies the prices. A tavern should be cheap, mainly serve beer, and probably have a pub food list. Again, this fits the stereotypical image that wants to be painted in this part of CA.“

“Okay I am soooo serious when I say they have THE BEST super burritos here. I got the carne asada (steak). The meat was seasoned and cooked perfectly and the best part it had NO CHEWY fat gristle! The picture truly does it no justice. The amount of other toppings was harmony to the steak. The super comes with rice, beans, sour cream, guacamole, cheese and meat. I added pico de gallo bite to bite and boy it was just delicious. I am sad they only have two locations and both are in Scotts Valley. But I will say it's good enough to take the 45 minute drive.“

The sushi tastes quality- served over ice and jicama. I'm addicted to their nabeyaki udon in winter. And the owner June is just the sweetest. We're lucky to have this place in Felton!“

The only wrinkle was the reservation had stated the dress code as "business casual"; however, several people came in with jeans, shorts, t-shirts and ball caps. For such a nice steakhouse in Los Gatos, I would have expected them to adhere to their own dress code.“

The server suggested Number 9 (turkey) on their Dutch bread, lightly toasted and it was so good! Chefs kiss! Portion size is huge! I can never finish an entire sandwich in one sitting, which is perfect because that means I have something to look forward to later. Highly recommend the garlic spread and Baja sauce for a kick. “Everything. It’s perfect. The redwood sandwich co. That’s what’s on my mind Facebook. There’s a few places in town I will always visit. If you haven’t been here yet, you’re not trying hard enough. You’re hungry, you need a sandwich that feels like a sandwich. You don’t want one of those wimpy limp sandwiches that you find for $5. You know the ones, with the iceberg lettuce and the bread that tastes like nothing. You want a MANS SANDWICH. You’re not walking around on your twinkly toes. You might wear a tutu, but that doesn’t define your food desire. That’s right. You want mouth feel. You want to put it in your mouth and not talk for at least 10 minutes. You want food that makes everything stop and take pause. You’re grown, but this sandwich makes your hands look like a child. You’re ready to eat. And eat you shall. That tri tip sandwich is dripping with goodness. It’s a feast between two slices of bread. The thanksgiving sandwich makes you wish you spent your holiday here. Pair that with their soups that don’t quit, or their Mac and cheese that stops the world, you’re in food coma and all you’ve done is smell it.
