“This is an absolutely wonderful place…warm, inviting and friendly! I have been on several occasions and each time the food has been delicious and the service was always promo and attentive! But for me, the most important part of my experience was the people. The staff truly makes this a great place to be.“

“We had our son’s wedding rehearsal dinner here last week and it was truly wonderful. The food was fantastic, brilliantly served, more than ample. The atmosphere was gorgeous, filled with flowers not billed to us. Marietta, the co-owner, was totally easy to work with, more than fullfilled our expectations. I enthusiastically recommend this restaurant for a superb dinner, lunch, or special event.5 stars all around.“

“We held our son and his fiancée's rehearsal dinner here and it was wonderful. We were on the patio with trees, vines, sparkle lights and a bocce ball court, it was such a beautiful atmosphere. The food and wines were delicious, and the servers were friendly and helpful! Everything was perfect and we have amazing memories of this special occasion at this hidden gem. Many thanks to the owner Breanna D,Argenzio, she was so lovely and really guided me in the planning process.Highly recommend this venue.“

“My partner and I had lunch this week at the Hollywood Burbank Airport Wolfgang Puck Kitchen Counter. She had a pizza, I had a burger. Great food, prepared to order. There is a wait like any restaurant better than Taco Bell or Burger King, but they give you a buzzer to call you to the counter when it is ready. Pricing is what you can expect from an airport restaurant that has a menu from a famous chef. This isn't a $5 or $10 per person food counter. Recommended if you have time for a decent meal on concourse A.“

“This place is very close to achieving what it's setting out to do: provide an elegant vegetarian dining experience. I think that might be hard to pull off in a strip mall however. The food and the art are fantastic but the interior design was poorly executed and comes off looking a little cheap. I went for my birthday but for the price this might have been a one time experience. Updated from previous review on 2024-04-06“

“This is an L.A. bar with an NYC feel…post gentrification. A good place for an intimate situation or for bein’ a gaggle of gays and theys. Not sure about the pricing as I was treated to my libations, but the service was friendly. I appreciated the attentiveness. They have high tops on one side and soft seating on the other with bar seating in between the two.“

“Located just a 15-minute walk from the Ahmanson Theatre, Maccheroni Republic is a wonderful find. The outdoor seating area is inviting, and the service is top-notch. We enjoyed the Burrata appetizer and indulged in two pasta dishes: Bianchi Neri and Pom'Amore, both of which were absolutely delicious. A perfect pre-show dining spot with great ambiance and even better food.“

“The influence of Alice Waters and David Tennis is at play in the $45 prix fixe 3-course lunch, simple, elegant and delicious. The rest of the menu, except the desserts and cocktails, looks to be uninterestingly pedestrian. Recently, a salad of thinly shaved manchego, mint, beets and radicchio first course and a perfectly cooked Sea bass, very plump clams, broad beans, and fennel second course in a seafood broth lightly seasoned with dill were superb, as were desserts that our waiter allowed us to substitute for the third course. Highly recommended for lunch.“

“We always love visiting Propaganda and this time was no different. The 4 Formaggi & Funghi is my new favorite pizza. This time we tried the boozy pandoro dessert and even 5 days later I'm still thinking of it. Can't wait to go back!“
