I know little about Japanese curry, but what Curry Hyuga serves is very tasty. A nicely fried cutlet with a slightly sweet, mildly spiced brown gravy. The potato croquettes are also extremely tasty.
Stopped here on a stormy night after arriving late at SFO. I can see why they have so many great reviews. The restaurant is clean and simple, the menu is straightforward and the food is well priced and delicious. Loved that our order came out fast and hot.

The chicken karaage is really good with a lot of flavor. The tonkatsu is also perfectly breaded and tender. The curry overall is good and but has some mild sourness to it. In terms of the curry itself I’ve had others that are better. There is table side spices to allow you to put heat into the curry which I really like.
