Karen, Dan, their kids and their awesome team knock it out of the park every time I am there with their welcoming environment and fantastic food. Nobody on the staff of Bonne Sante is throwing temper tantrums and their food is not oil drenched as others are suggesting (unless you request it). I highly recommend Bonne Sante with zero reservation. In fact, I am heading over to Bonne Sante today for a delicious sandwich and great company.“

“A solid tuna melt. Good mix of crisp and gooey. I liked the bread they used but a classic rye might have been better. I used a mechanic here recently so this might become a regular mechanic related stop (though hopefully I don't have to go to the mechanic too regularly).“

“The best sandwiches in South San Francisco: Little Lucca! This place is usually packed with a line out the door, but we decided to shoot our shot since it was raining and hoped there wouldn't be a line and luckily it wasn't that long! Everything is made to order in front of you and you can add what you'd like. They have a garlic and hot pepper sauce which are sooo good and a must get. They definitely don't skimp on the add ins and both our sandwiches came out packed and HUGE! We were able to save and eat the other half for dinner haha It's a really nice place to grab a sandwich and maybe head over to the beach or somewhere nice to enjoy. We ended up taking it home and decided to toast it a bit and it was perfection. Next time you're in South San Francisco and looking for a sandwich, come check out Little Lucca! Everyone was so nice and patient even with a rush.“
“A hidden gem and great sandwich spot overall. I called ahead to place an order for my sandwich and it was ready in about 15 minutes. I heard the wait can be up to 30 minutes so try to plan accordingly if it's lunch hour! I got the Turkey sandwich with everything on it which comes with a great garlic spread and fresh vegetables and bread. Staff is always very friendly whenever I come here, and the ingredients are always fresh. Keep in mind the limited hours during the day. Definitely recommend!“
