“Lived in North County since 1998. I have never been to this restraunt and its a shame. The food was very good the prices were decent and the staff was friendly. We sat outside and the heaters work. I cant wait to share this place with friends and family.“
“Great service! I had the scallops with polenta and it was so good! The scallops were sweet, the polenta was creamy, and the sourdough bread that was served before the meal was hot, fresh and crunchy. I plan on coming back the next time I'm in Carlsbad.“

“Spent my bday at the beach. Had dinner right before sunset at Dini's. Atmosphere was great, family friendly, and view of ocean across the street. Food was excellent, had the blackened chicken pasta. Glad we found this place for dinner. Will certainly be back when in town.“
“Without a doubt. Burgeon Brewery production of the best beers anywhere. The large list of Burgeon IPAs is second to none. Then there's the Pales ales. Incredible. Pilsner popularity are on the rise and leading the pack again is Burgeon. To be fair there is a plethora of amazing brewery's in SD . Particularly north county coast. But the comparison of any to Burgeon isn't even close. If your thinking of visiting a few breweries while in SDs north county coast I would highly recommend you try them 1st. If you start at Burgeon the others won't be as impressive. 2 other very important aspects of this brewery are the people who work here. Very knowledgeable and strive to take care of anyone who walks in the door. See it every time we go. And the food trucks. If Burgeon has them , expect some of the best in town serving you.“
“Excellent upscale but casual restaurant. Great selection of beers and other drinks. Open and airy space. The food tastes great and is a good value for the large portions and on point tastes. It is located in an easy to reach mall with lots of open parking.“
“Went out for a business dinner and I couldn't have asked for better. The food was great and the service was exceptional. Ambiance definitely helped. We will absolutely be back! Definitely one of our new favorite places. Only recommendation from the whole group was to please chop the Caesar salad. (It was still great though. Lol )“
“We came here for lunch on a Sunday and I ordered the chile relleno and a spicy skinny margarita - both were great! The place looks great, too - there's a designer/decorator somewhere who needs a raise! The only drawback was the music from the live band playing outside was SO LOUD even though we were sitting inside on the opposite end of the restaurant. The music was good and would have been enjoyable if only it wasn't quite so loud.“

“Great little pub in the heart of Carlsbad village. Amberly was the bartender when I was in, very friendly and personable. Seemed she had a decent crowd of regulars at the end of the bar so that was nice to see. FYI... it's the cleanest mirror behind the bar I've ever seen. “This was a surprisingly chill bar right on the edge of the village, right across the street from the Coyote Bar and Grill. We couldn't get in over at Coyote so we took our large group over to Boar Cross'n. We were able to get drinks at the bar without too long of a wait and got seats at the bar and at a couple of the small tables near the bar. It was definitely a younger crowd then the usual Carlsbad 40s and 50s. This place attracts more of a 20s-30s crowd probably due to the couple of pool tables and more of a dive bar feel. It's nicer than the Kraken though, so not that divey. ?“
“Had lunch there today with wife, son, and daughter in law. It was our 4th or 5th visit in the last couple of months. Food and service, as usual, both outstanding! We left for a gelato, and I freaked out, finding out I didn't have my wallet. Went back to restaurant front desk, "no problem, here is your wallet". Whew! Thank you, Thank you - Le Papagayo!!!“
“Stopped by for lunch with friends when we were in Carlsbad. It is located a block away from the beach. It's a casual Mexican Spot with good food and drinks. My husband and I shared the Carlsbad Carne Asada Burrito, Wet, but couldn't decide between green or red salsa so the waiter recommended doing half and half. It was delicious! Everything I love all in a burrito! We also ordered Ernie's Caesar Salad and I expected an ordinary Caesar salad but this one was really good! The dressing was delicious and I think they had different cheese that made it flavorful! What a nice surprise. The staff is very friendly and attentive and we enjoyed this place!“

“Not sure if it was because of what we ordered but our experience here was noticeably better than last time. The service was excellent (server Amanda) and all the dishes we ordered were delicious (lamb shank, ahi poke, clam chowder and sourdough). Amanda was also nice enough to seat us at a great booth with ocean views and bring us a dessert for my daughter's birthday.“

The cocktail program is spectacular, extremely unique and well balanced original cocktails coupled with excellent classics.Food is also really tasty and unique with thai inspired dishes.As if Same Same wasn't great enough, they have gluten free dishes and clearly someone is aware of cross contamination in that kitchen, because I have celiac and woke up feeling great which is kind of rare. So BRAVO Same Same. Your staff was amazingly knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining as well.
