“Jay the owner is a fantastic person. His smile is wonderful, and he has a very positive attitude. Thank you, Jay, for the great service and the great atmosphere. This is a great little coffee shop. I will definitely be back here again, for sure. And it is all because of the breakfast burrito that excited my tastebuds. This wonderful gem has bacon jam, potatoes, eggs, and cheese in it. And I must say, this is the best breakfast burrito I ever had. And I had many breakfast burritos in my lifetime. And this is excellent. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. My friend had the sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich. I had a bite of that too, and it was very good. And I am sure all of the other items are equally as good. It's all good. When we walked in, I immediately felt a warm and cozy vibe. This is a great place in Tahoe, and it made my trip all the worthwhile. Also, I had the vanilla iced latte. Very good as well. It was nice and strong, and it woke me up. Thank you, Jay, for everything. We will definitely be back, and I will have that yummy breakfast burrito again.“

“Came here for a quick lunch since we were staying nearby and could walk here. There's not many options on the north shore but we weren't very hungry so opted for something simple. I ended up getting the the big kahuna chicken salad with pineapple and grilled teriyaki chicken. The salad itself was big and pretty filling. I enjoyed the canned pineapple for sweetness but the chicken was dry and the texture was similar to the already prepared chicken you can buy at grocery stores. The chicken was also too salty and the sauce was more just soy sauce than teriyaki and it wasn't sweet at all. Overall not a bad meal considering there's not a lot of eat around but I wouldn't choose to come again. We did get the local ice cream afterwards as well which was a nice treat. The banana chocolate chip was yummy and pretty light.“

“While pricey, it is worth it for the great view of the lake. This place is always busy, and it is clear why. There is a great food and beverage selection, including a decent wine list. We were here for lunch on a Thursday and it was pretty busy. Ordered the French dip ?, sliders ?, and grilled fish tacos ?. We all finished our plates and enjoyed the food, the service (thanks Brandon!), and especially the atmosphere!“

“Service was great! The two servers and solo host were very busy taking care of the entire place by themselves. It’s not easy to bus and serve. Not sure why temps were taken on the eggs as none of them came out consistent. IMO no need to even stress taking temps because it’s not the Four Seasons.Poached eggs are the easiest when understood how to execute in high volume. Boil with water and vinegar mixture and separately hold them aside in a warm water bath. A sous vide can keep a regulated low temp. Every poached egg will be perfect. Chef was probably having a hard day, might have been solo as well (bless that persons soul). as everything on the plate seemed cold in different sections. Hot sausage, cold eggs, crispy hot (very delicious) potatoes, cold soggy eggs benni.Great spot. Just needs to tighten up some aspects.“

“We ordered the baby gem salad, scallops, ribs, lamb chops, deviled eggs, Mac and cheese, and frites. Would ordered everything again every single time. If I had to pick a favorite bite - it was probably the scallops, but that feels rude to the ribs. I don't see how you could go wrong here. All of the drinks and food were truly wonderful, as was the service! I love the vibe of the restaurant it felt intimate, well curated, and nicer for the area yet casual enough for jeans. Highly recommend making a reservation for Bite!“

“Excellent food and well presented. Staff and owner were very friendly and accommodating. Loved the escargot and ahi appetizers. Filet mignon was cooked perfectly. It was a very casual place with a laid back sort of feel and a short walk from the Hyatt hotel. Highly recommend to anyone visiting incline village.“

“Incredible sandwich shop! We drive up to the Truckee area 3 or 4 times a year during the spring and summer, and we always stop here for a sandwich to take on our hike. Heck, we almost come up here JUST for a sandwich! Typically we’ll get the chicken pesto sandwich on Dutch crunch bread. One sandwich is big enough for the two of us, and we usually add one of their big chocolate chip cookies. The photo shows just a half of the sandwich. Best sandwich ever! Great staff as well.“

“In a small town, you might find the best pizza options but you'll do well here. It's a more rustic tap house setting with friendly staff and lovely views. But you're coming for the food and drinks, right? Of the brews on tap, there were less local options than I might prefer but there were at least a dozen taps, so can't hardly complain! We had two different pizzas (I mean that's our job!) and while the vegan was very good, the crust center was a little floppy (especially since they used a pizza screen). The flavor was quite good but maybe could have been a little zestier. The meat lovers (yes, the polar opposite) was very delicious. Again the crust center was a little floppy (the New York fold wouldn't work) but it was an excellent pizza. As we left, we saw a cook bringing in a bag of Tony Gemignani's pizza flour so we know they take the craft seriously!“

“Excellent food, wine and view of Lake Tahoe. Elegant setting and upscale ambiance but welcoming and inviting, not stuffy or snooty. We brought our 3 kids (10, 12, 15) and we felt very welcomed and comfortable. Husband has a dairy sensitivity and they were able to accommodate substitutions without any issues. Dining room is quiet but noise from the bar area does waft over from time to time.“

“We came here for lunch on one of our days in Truckee. We don't drink beer but we ordered some other drinks that were amazingly delicious. For our appy, we ordered these shrimp bao buns that were super flavorful. I ordered the bratwurst hotdog and that was yummy with a healthy helping of sauerkraut and two types of dip - cheese or grainy mustard. To be honest, that bratwurst wrapped in a pretzel bun could stand on its own without any dips...OMG! so good that u still remember how it tastes nearly a week after our trip. My husband ordered the turkey burger and that thing came loaded and he said it was one of the best turkey burgers he's ever had. We loved this place and will definitely be one of our go-tos in Truckee when we're up next! Thank you Alibi team...great work!“

“This is a great Italian-style pizzeria. The salad bar is not frequently-enough restocked, so take a careful look before ordering the salad bar. The veggie pizza and the pepperoni were solid 4 star, but the salad bar was a 3 star. Service was prompt, although the servers are quite young (it's Incline, so that happens)Parking: You may have to wait a moment for someone to pull out, but it is strip-mall-type parking“

“This place has a special place in my heart. Their sandwiches are delicious, the coffee is always good, the pastries are so good and fresh, and I am greeted with kindness every time i come in. I've been coming here since I can remember being able to talk and I have never had a bad experience. I also love that there are plenty of seating options in the cozy dining room. 10/10“

“This is the only place in north lake that locals eat at consistently, from breakfast to dinner they never disappoint. Great outdoor seating treating bartenders and incredible food. Don’t waste your time eating at Lanzas or Jason’s. Unfortunately almost every other restaurant in town has gone down hill while spindys keeps getting better.Kid-friendliness: Tons of space for the critters to run around!“

“Highly recommend their burritos. We tried both the chicken and tri tip burrito. Both were flavorful and large. It is a small place that does a brisk business. Many people were picking up orders they had called ahead for. We walked in and ordered to go. Service was quick! We tried both the mild and medium sauce. The medium could have used more of a kick/spice.“
“We just discovered this spot , food was delicious *called on a Saturday night and our order was ready within minutes *steak burrito mojado , good size, salsa roja is tasty and spicy !! * 3 tacos : chicken , carne asada and carnitas , very good *salsas are tasty *friendly service * we got eco friendly take out containers“

“Love love loved this place. It's a cute little restaurant inside a grocery store. They have outdoor seating but we were in in a snow storm, so had to manage with the limited space indoors. But the food and the people were so good. My husband took the leaf eater and I took the teriyaki udon noodle soup. Both were Yum. We even took a pesto baguette to-go. Everything about this place is to fall in love with. ?Vegetarian options: There are quite few options for vegetarians in sandwiches and noodle soups.. Plus many salad options.“

“Finding a good place to eat during a road trip can be challenging, but this restaurant exceeded our expectations. It was our first time dining here, so we didn't know what to expect. The service was exceptional, the restaurant was clean and inviting, and the food was delicious! Additionally, the location was easy to find. This establishment definitely earned five stars in our book.“

“This place is amazing. A little difficult to find and the building is not where you would expect to see a coffee shop. We were too late for brekkie so we got sandwiches. Also, got the London Fog which is a heavenly drink. Sandwiches were Club and BLAT. Both were fantastic. The Club was a bit tangy for me with the chipotle. The sourdough bread for both was incredible. I grabbed a to go of Bacon and Cheddar biscuit and coffee cake. Really one of my favorite places I have been to in long time. The people were all great.“

“Finally was able to try cloud sushi and it did not disappoint. Coming from a sushi obsessed truckee local, this is the highest quality fish you can get in the area, hands down, debatably better than anything you can get in Reno. This is not all-you-can eat pricing, but high quality fish prepared by a chef and the pricing reflects that. Well worth the money!“

“It's a very charming restaurant and we were super lucky to get a Wednesday evening 5:30 PM reservation a mere 5 hours in advance. Our dinner experience was amazing! The food came out hot, the flavors and sauces were outstanding, and the service was fantastic. We ordered the Lobster Wontons appetizer, White Shrimp Fresh Sea Scallops & ¼ Maine Lobster Tail with Fettucine entree, and the Oregon Petrale Sole daily fish special. The soup of the day was Cauliflower soup. The lobster wonton appetizer came with 3 wontons. The ginger, shiitake mushrooms, and other seasonings paired very well with the lobster. The Chinese mustard and red chili dipping sauce served on the side was HOT and we felt the wontons had plenty enough flavor without the need to add any hot sauce. Rating: 8 I wasn't expecting to like the cauliflower soup but it was really really good! I'm not a huge fan of cauliflower or of soup in general, but the cauliflower flavor had a perfect subtleness and was accented with a touch of cumin seasoning. Rating: 8 My wife had the Oregon Petrale Sole. She described it as very flavorful (blend of lemon, garlic, and mushroom flavors and a light panko coating) and cooked to perfection. Rating: 10 I ordered the Shrimp, Scallop, Lobster Tail with Fettucine. OMG! Per the menu: "sautéed w/ red bell peppers, fresh basil, tomatoes, mushrooms and lemon garlic butter; cheese & onion." The sauce was sooooo amazing and perfectly compliment the seafood. I couldn't stop raving about the flavor even after arriving back at the hotel room. Rating: 10+ Our server was John and we thoroughly enjoyed the additional side conversations with him throughout our seating. (Ask him if he's ever tried moose.)“

“The only downside was how bright those LED lights are over the side booth tables. Super bright. I know they can't be dimmed via a dimmer switch, but maybe there's a diff fixture option. It feels like you're under an interrogation light while you're eating.“

“Here's the low-down: 1. Food - There's a lot of attention to detail here; there's fresh baked bread, there's Gumbo made daily, there's fresh fries. This is not a place that embraces canned / frozen foods. The medium rare burger I had was perfect with fresh fries and (seemed like) a freshly baked bun. My one complaint was the first cup of coffee; it tasted a little burned, but we were there late in the day. Also, I'd have rather seen a smaller menu featuring only what they do best, but that's my preference. I did not hear any complaints from anyone else while I was there. 2. Service - It was busy, and it's a coffee shop; you're not here to have a Maitre d' experience. You're going to get the friendly coffee shop vibe that borders on overly familiar. If you're not used to this, it might feel uncomfortable, but stay with it, you'll expand your horizons. 3. Ambiance - Wagon train doesn't try to be what it's not; it's a coffee shop with some fantastically crafted food. It feels like a locals-only gem despite its location in the middle of the downtown area. This is a rare gem where corners are not being cut; this kind of place is rapidly becoming a lost bit of Americana, definitely get in there and taste it while you can.“

“Pretty good burgers and fries, fast and great service with plenty of places to sit and eat either indoors or out. My burger was a bit salty but could have just been a one off or that I don't eat fast food a lot. Will be back again to try their milk shakes!“

“Off the chain, great! I've never had a bad meal there, and I've been dining at Azzara's for at least 20 years. I always tell people who ask for a recommendation. I think it is thenumber 1 restaurant in Incline.Be sure to ask what flavor the homemade Gelato of the restaurant is for that night. And if you like the flavor, order at least one for the table. If you've traveled to Italy and had Gelato there, Azzara's is like a taste of Italy.Vegetarian options: All the pasta for which there are many choices, eggplant Parmigiano (outstanding), salads, especially the Ceasar, roasted veggies, but you have to ask for it to be cooked a little longer otherwise, it's al dente, very al dente. Their menu is online, so you can see what maybe I left out.“

“Their pizzas are wonderful. Definitely worth trying if you haven't. Don't go there often as they are out of the way for us. I'm compelled to write this review because of a fee they are now charging for pizza boxes. It was just under $4 and is literally to cover the cost of the pizza box. Very odd. I ordered mine to go but I'd be curious if I ate it there and then asked for a to go box would they also charge me? To be honest that whole tactic rubs me the wrong way. Just increase the cost of you pizza to offset it. What's next, bathroom use fee? How about a dish wash fee? Obviously these are absurd examples but it's the same idea. All of this is the cost of doing business. Ultimately it's up to the owner to make their choices but I just wanted them to know that it's a bad approach. That's my two cents. Again the food is well worth the visit. Thanks.“

“We stopped into Susie's with a large group of kids and adults so that we could have dessert! We were very impressed with the delicious ice cream options, waffle cones, and the friendly and prompt service. The biscotti ice cream was amazing, and the kids loved the bubble gum ice cream. “This place was amazing! One thing I've always wanted to do was to go venture out to tasting menu restaurants and I'm so glad I found Trokay! The chef was super nice and I enjoyed talking to her between courses! The servers were great as well, I honestly fell in love with the ambiance of this place! “Food is nice bar fare, quality, but at a bit of a premium. Craft beer selection is solid for such a small area, and the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. Long tables and four-sided bar-top leaves plenty of room for groups. The staff is friendly but not annoying, professional, and seem to have a good sense of humor. All in all, a great spot to stop in for a laid-back lunch after getting off the hill, or just some brews with the boys. Oh, and they have live music (check with staff for days) and country line dancing every first Monday of the month. Expect a meal and a drink to run you ~ $35Kid-friendliness: While not kid-oriented specifically, Alibi is welcoming to families.“

Everything was great. Service on point.“
“Sierra Café is located on the lower level of Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort. Breakfast is served between 7-11:30 am and lunch is served between 12-3:30 pm. They do not serve dinner. The café has a good amount of tables with an outdoor area facing the resort pool. We didn't have any problem getting a table at around 9:00 am ish but they do get busy. We had breakfast here both mornings while staying at the Resort. They have all your basic breakfast items from eggs, omelets, pancakes, bacon and waffles. Everything we had was delicious. The pancake and omelet was probably my favorite. The breakfast buffet is only available on the weekend.Excellent service. The servers are attentive, friendly and professional.“

“Just having a meal in this cool spot is a treat in itself. Amazingly kind customer service, a beautiful interior with a lot of personality, and yummy food! The menu is basic breakfast and lunch foods but they indeed do a great job. The french fries have a thin crunchy crust on the outside. They also asked me if I want my corned beef hash crunchy and I said YES thanks for asking. As someone who orders corned beef hash everywhere that offers it, I was so happy that this is the 1st place that asked for my preference! I will make sure to come back here every time I am in the area. The thought of this place puts a smile on my face.Parking: Parking lot but most of it is too wet and muddy. We ended up parking on the next street over.“
