“10 outa 10 experience. The inside is intimate and warm. The service was prompt and so friendly (Alec was the nicest!) and the food was fantastic. It's definitely a nicer atmosphere but still family friendly as there are crayons on each table. The chef was very conscientious of my (who's also a chef) fiancés dairy allergy. We hardly even go to fancier places because we feel bad for the accommodations. However we were never made to feel it was a problem and everyone was so kind. I ordered a pork tenderloin with Brie cheese, apples and artichoke which was so good with cauliflower purée, mushrooms and a balsamic reduction with a greens oil of some kind. There was a lovely kick in the purée. My fiancé was able to get a dairy free salmon and mushroom asparagus risotto which he loved as he hardly ever is able to order a risotto. Hats off to the building the chef does as he cooks, fantastic work. Definitely will be back for April's new menu!“

“My kid wanted 'fast food tacos' after track practice. We settled on supporting a local business & something new (to us). Well, it was our lucky day! We hopped in the drive thru line and were greeted by a friendly employee who took our order. 5 pupusas, all different flavors. We waited about 10 minutes for fresh-made food and took the bag home. I skipped my last errand because it smelled so delicious! We feasted on fresh, pillowy pupusas with crunchy curtido and salsa. We'll definitely return for more, and sample the other dishes. Great value too! $21 for 5 pupusas and a large horchata!“

“It's been a year since our last visit to La Salsa Grill, as we're not in Carson City much to dine out. We met our family friend here (it's his favorite local restaurant) for a spontaneous outing. The place is very friendly and Daphne was helpful and kind. I had the shrimp tostada (5/5) which was light, fresh tasting and delicious. Hubby ordered the fish and shrimp soup (5+/5) and our friend ordered the albondigas soup (5/5 from the sample he had me try), it's also his favorite! Hubby shared his soup with me too and it was really delicious. I will order that dish next time! We all loved our food. Flavors are great! Loved all the aloe plants and the festive decor as it makes it a very pleasant place to have a meal with friends. We'll be back!“

“I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. It was my first time here and we did not know what to expect, but it was above and beyond! First of all, the owner/operator, Dolly, is truly amazing. She might be the most hospitable and humble person I have met in a long time. You can tell she truly cares about the food, her employees, and most of all the customer’s satisfaction. The space is very clean with plenty of open light. It would be a good spot for an intimate date, or to host a larger party. Also, we must give it up for the chef! I am amazed with how many distinct dishes came out of the kitchen in such little time. Each dish was unmistakable discernible. We will definitely be back and we hope this place stays open forever!“

“We were traveling to Carson City and needed a birthday cake. We ordered a cake over the phone with Daisy for pick-up. The cake was ready when promised and was decorated perfectly. The cake, mousse, and fruit were all delicious!“

“There were four of us that had lunch at Peg's in Carson City, on April 11. The food was expensive and not what it use to be like before Covid. We had a very rude waitress and the food was a very poor quality and not as it was ordered. Carson is really growing, but you need to keep your quality up or you will not get return customers. It will be a long time, if ever, that we visit again.“

“I mean... it's Olive Garden! It's the slice of Americana that we all know & most of us love or have loved at some point. My husband and I recently had a date day in Carson City on a Monday when most restaurants in the area are closed. So, I made the executive decision to go to Olive Garden for the first time in a long while. And I was impressed! Drinks-- Italian Margarita... always! I love the shot of Amaretto to pour on top. So yummy. Food-- The (newer) Fried Zitti Fritta appetizer is fabulous. It is fried ziti pasta stuffed with cheese and served with a side of alfredo & marinara sauce. Breadsticks-- you gotta dip them in the alfredo! So good. Salad-- a classic. Fettucini Alfredo (add broccoli)-- honestly underwhelming. I added copious amounts of salt & pepper to this and the pasta is overcooked. Service-- AMAZING! Our waiter, Casey was so attentive and kind. We really enjoyed having him around during our meal. Table Kiosks-- OMG take these things away. Throw them into a fire and never turn back again. There is a little blue light that pops up on the kiosk when you press the "Call Server" button. Like... your server is a flight attendant. No thanks. But also hilarious. Anyway, I'll be back soon for the endless Soup, Salad & Breadstick lunch deal!“

We sat in the lobby for 20 min waiting for a table and even asked about the bar and was told we couldn't sit there but then they let two other couples sit there after we had already asked. When we did get sat the server forgot my fiance's beer and the paper to order. They then switched servers without telling us, but the new server was a lot better.“
