The speakeasy, although tiny, was a fun experience and great drinks. Dinner at the restaurant was incredible. You won't be disappointed no matter what you order. “What a gem this place is! My wife and I rented out the greenhouse room for our wedding rehearsal dinner and everything was absolutely above and beyond our expectations. The ambiance is truly stunning, the abundance of natural light highlights all of the well balanced colors and tasteful decor. Our guest count was the maximum they allowed, which they set very aptly as we filled the room but at no point felt overly crammed. The hors d'oeuvres were spectacular and they never stopped coming throughout cocktail hour. The menu selections during the planning process were plentiful, and all sounded so delicious, and we were incredibly happy with our choices. The sea bass was delicate and delicious, while the NY strip steak was juicy, and cooked to perfection. The staff was genuine and friendly throughout the night, and the bartenders made excellent cocktails. This place was already special to us before, as it is where I took my wife to brunch before proposing on a beach walk afterwards, but it now holds a place in our hearts forever. We will continue coming here for many special occasions, or even for just a nice lunch or dinner. Thank you to everyone at Stella Mares who made our weekend amazing!“
“One of my favorite restaurants in the area! Super friendly menu for those of us avoiding gluten! Tons of options, and everything is super fresh, seasonal and prepared with exquisite care!On this trip, I had the gluten-free Chicken Milanese and it was divine! Two huge cutlets served with lightly dressed arugula and blistered tomatoes!My partner (not gluten sensitive) got to indulge in the seven hour lamb Bolognese! I tasted the sauce and it was magic but when I asked the waiter if they had a gluten-free pasta option, he said unfortunately not. Too bad that this dish can’t be made to accommodate us gluten sensitive customers… As I would be sure to order this in the future but for now I have to pass. But if you are not gluten, sensitive, my partner, highly recommends ordering this!We also started our meal with a beautiful beet salad… The waiter asked if we’d like the chef to prepare the salad on two separate plates, making it easier to enjoy and thought, how wonderful so we said sure! But when the check arrived, there was a $5.00 surcharge for that. Not complaining here, but just want you to be prepared in case it’s not something you would find of value for you and your dining partner.Oh, and be sure to save room for the apple fritters on their dessert menu. Yes, these are gluten-free!! “Good service, fast as well, and the restaurant very nice and intimate. Tried the French Dip Au Jus, bread was good but the meat too undercooked. French fries were good and crispy. Ding's Crispy chicken sandwich was amazing , overall my favorite. The macho salad was good as well.“
“Nichole at The Revere room is such a gem! The first time I met her she was the server for our menu tasting for our wedding. She did such a lovely job and was so wonderful to be around. She made the experience that much better. We came back a few weeks later for brunch and she was our server again! We were so excited to see her. We love dining here and the food is always so good, but the great service really makes it!“
“The only thing I know for sure is that the Caesar Salad at Coast & Olive is like nothing you have ever tasted! So different and so delicious! The chef, Dayveon (what a nice guy), knows what he's doing. I highly recommend it. Kobi, the manager, is also terrific and understands great customer service. The restaurant is part of The Montecito Inn. The food, in my opinion, is one of "The Best of the Best" on Coast Village road in Montecito. And after seeing photos posted from other reviews, I look forward to trying some other things on the menu! :-)“
