“I really wish I would have taken a picture of my vanilla yogurt bowl but I just dove in! It had bananas, strawberries, and blueberries. All of the fruit was sweet and looked absolutely delicious. The granola was still crunchy and the yogurt was fantastic. I also ordered a brown sugar white mocha iced latte and it was to die for. Creamy, balanced, not too sweet, not too acidic, and just flat out worth the calories. This family owned and run business is my new favorite spot for a morning or mid afternoon pick me up!”

“We recently moved to Cathedral City from New Jersey and have been making it a point to try as many local restaurants as possible. China 8 was our latest stop, and overall we had a pleasant experience.

The service was friendly and attentive from the moment we arrived. We started with the fried potstickers, which were crispy and enjoyable. The egg drop soup wasn't our favorite, as it included corn, which was a little different from what we're used to, but it was still a nice start to the meal.

For our entrées, we had the Chicken with Snow Peas and the Chicken & Broccoli in Garlic Sauce. The snow peas were fresh and crisp, and the chicken was tender. The garlic sauce dish was packed with flavor and definitely had some heat to it—more than we expected—but it was well prepared and made with fresh ingredients.

While China 8 hasn't quite replaced our longtime favorite Chinese restaurant back in New Jersey, it was a solid meal and one we enjoyed. We would definitely come back and explore more of the menu, especially now that we know to ask for milder spice levels on some dishes.

If you're looking for a dependable neighborhood Chinese restaurant with friendly service and generous portions, China 8 is worth a visit.”

“This is my third time coming to this new Tea shop!By the way they are under new management! And I have to see their drinks are consistently amazing.
Last time I ordered a Matcha drink that reminded me a Popular tea shop called Omomo in Irvine! I didn’t even get a chance to take a picture because I finish it so quickly it was that good! You can really taste the quality of their Matcha and tea. Everything taste very fresh and well made!
Today I tried their mango yogurt drink, and it was honestly SO good! Super refreshing, perfectly balanced, not overly sweet. I’m pretty sure I could drink this every day!”

I had the Chile Relleno with cheese (vegetarian options available, which was super nice!) and my husband had the Enchiladas de Mole with chicken - and both were delicious! “I was not in a very good mood when I walked into this restaurant, but the lady who took my order was so pleasent and upbeat with me and all the customers that it compleatly changed my mood. “Great food! Great service! Not sure if this is one of their things, but I kind of think it is after reading other reviews, because the food and drinks we ordered were delivered to us very fast. My husband had a draft beer from the bar that was served ice cold in a perfectly chilled glass. We started our meal with a classic wedge salad. I have to say that I did not expect this to be on the menu of a “burger joint” but so glad it was. It was a generous portion with the all the classic elements. The standout here was the bacon on the salad. It was freshly made and perfectly cooked. My husband had the smash burger and I had the Chicago dog. So many times at other burger places it seems that the bun overshadows their burgers but not here. And the hotdog here had a very nice hint of sweetness in its pickle relish. So delicious! We also had a half order of the regular fries. You can tell that they are house made and not frozen. They are seasoned and have a nice light coat of salt. Yummy! We splurged for a strawberry malt to finish our meal. Wow! It was served in a classic ice cream fountain style glass and accompanied by the big silver metal cup that they used to make and mix it in. What a value. It was more than enough for two full glasses. Nothing like the real thing when it comes to a strawberry malt. They deserve to be on anyone’s radar when looking for a delicious restaurant with outstanding service.”

“Loving the convenience and accessibility of the new Chipotle in Cathedral City.

The staff is pleasant. The atmosphere is typical Chipotle. Food is on point, even when the hot & cold lines look like a burrito bomb exploded all over.

My only complaint is the discrepancy of the serving size from different employees. It vastly differs each time I've been to this Chipotle. Though who am I kidding, it happens at most Chipotle's.

I will say that when i've asked for a little more of something, they've usually obliged.
