“Little mini mall area where you wouldn’t expect a FANTASTIC meal! Our waiter suggested the kale salad and rigatoni, and WOW this did NOT disappoint. I am extremely picky and kale salads are not exactly my cup of tea, but this salad was INCREDIBLE. Little bit of spice, refreshing, and delicious. We also had a couple of their premium drinks that were also refreshing and worth the expensive price tag. We had the rigatoni and the tonnarelli (which we’ve had in actual Italy) for our mains and both dishes were superb-we shared :) definitely recommend this place based on the AMAZING food, the great service (love a server who suggests the best things on the menu and isn’t just saying it when it doesn’t fulfill), quick service (we never waited long for anything), and overall atmosphere. “Super!! Had fantastic dining experience at this lovely Italian in West Hollywood. Roast risotto, baby beetroot with goat cheese for starters. Both excellent. Mains of Mushroom Pinsa (with great wild mushrooms) and lasagne. Dessert was tiramisu- totally top. Good wine list. Nice to see the Nebbiolo grape well represented. The people working here are so nice. I’m sure the management know how lucky they are to have such fine staff! In summary, I totally recommend this fine establishment. Suggest you make a reservation as it’s v popular and rightly so.“

I was told wait will be 40 minutes, luckily they gave me the small table right away.I got the special Margherita, it was excellent.There are 2 Margheritas, one uses regular mazorella the other one uses fresh buffalo mazorella. Many dishes make a correlation to horses as well. The hot plate is a horse shoe. The butter is molded into a horse. The details really make the experience. “I brought my coworkers here a few weeks ago for a company team lunch and everyone had a great time and really enjoyed the food! The portions were large and plentiful, so much so that we were super full and still had leftovers to take home. My favorite dish was the kale salad, which was surprisingly flavorful. The pizzas were also great!I contacted OSPI ahead of time to make a large party reservation, opting for the lunch time prix fixe menu. The whole process was super smooth, and they were very helpful in helping me choose appropriate dishes based on the dietary restrictions of our group (we had vegetarians and gluten free people, both of whom were accomodated).My only critique is that the food took quite a while to come out at the start. I expected it to be out sooner since we had a reservation and had ordered a fixed menu, but after being seated, we still had to wait a decent amount, so we were quite hungry. After that, the pacing of the meals could've been slightly faster, but it's understandable because of the large party servings. “Absolutely fabulous! The beef tartare was superb. I had the black truffle risotto and there is nothing better than that on the menu in my personal opinion, rich, creamy, earthy, simply delicious. My mom had the crab pasta which was so complex, but the lumps of crab added such a lovely ocean flavor to every bite. Our server was incredible! She was so attentive and kind and patient with us. But the best part of the meal was the tiramisu, not your typical tiramisu but the chocolate record decoration made the whole evening. “This was a first time dining experience in Cali…I recommend the restaurant 100%! They were a busy place indeed. The staff is so friendly, and we came in with a reservation and showed early. The hostess checked in with each person waiting to be seated multiple times-you don’t see that very much in most places. A good vibe inside and the atmosphere is nice also. Even though we were early, we still did have to wait almost 15min beyond our rez to be seated but, we were delighted when they offered to bring us an appetizer because they were sorry we had to wait so long. Awesome tasting food and they serve breakfast and lunch as well daily.“

The serving size was smaller, so we ordered 4 different pastas. The lasagna was as advertised, it was excellent. All other three pastas were very good especially the agnolotti. We’ve never had it before and it was a very pleasant surprise. Highly recommended. The only downside of our lunch was that it had sold out its bread. Other than that, we enjoyed our experience here very much. “The restaurant is located on the second floor of Nerano in Beverly Hills (you have to take an elevator up to the second floor through Nerano). This gives the spot kind of a fun speakeasy feel to it. When you get out of the elevator, you walk into a beautifully designed / decorated, cozy, albeit slightly quirky space. It's not large (I think the capacity is 34). Came here for a food event, which I did a review for separately, but this experience in particular was grabbing a drink at the bar. (I did think the food was delicious though and urge folks to come here and give this place a try. I know I want to come back and try more menu items.) The bar is beautifully designed and organized. I found myself perusing and mentally cataloguing the whiskeys as I always do when I go to new restaurants. But this place looked like a place that has fun cocktails. So I ordered The George Michael. The drinks here are really interactive, and the bartenders are super enthusiastic to the point that it's infectious. My drink in particular had some bowls that floated up and you had to catch it with a paddle. Flavor wise it was like espresso martini with a peanut butter twist to it. All in all this place is a great place to grab drinks and/or food. Lots of fun. There's a lot of street parking nearby, but it could get challenging especially during the weekends. I came in the middle of the week and was able to find parking about a block away.“

“Our experience at this restaurant was top notch. The food was excellent, but the service was perfect. They were so nice and accommodating. It was literally the best restaurant for kids, even though they don't have a children's menu! They offered half portions of pasta for our kids, and made a special "plain" dish for my picker eater. They also were very patient and helpful in dealing with a food allergy. Casual dress was just fine, although the interior and the food feel "fancy." The location is extremely convenient (just around the corner) if you are staying at the SLS hotel. Highly recommended.“

“Absolutely one of the best Italian restaurants (if not the best) in LA. Not a “scene”...just a beautiful, traditional environment that feels very upper east side NYC. Unbelievably delicious food and the service was out of this world. Definitely a little pricey (similar to NYC prices) but worth it, in my opinion. No “influencers”, no “wannabes”, just fine dining with fine people. Will be back again next time I'm on the west coast and will recommend to all of my family and friends. We were there on Saturday night so it was a little bit noisy but that would be my only issue - if u would even call it that. Personally, I like a restaurant to have atmosphere and a little life. Only reason “atmosphere” is 4/5 is because the ceiling was leaking water after the morning rain and we had to switch tables. This is not an issue you are likely to encounter. I will absolutely be coming back on special occasions. At the time of writing this review, entrées ranged from $35-$90 and the quality makes up for it. The plates are well portioned, though smaller than Americana; I prefer it this way. The staff were polite and thorough. The wine/drink menu was comprehensive. For hors d’oeuvres, we ordered the garlic bread (amazing sauces!), Fritto misto, burrata, and winter beets. They were all superbe. I highly recommend the garlic bread and burrata. I was able to snap pictures of 3 of our Entrées: Black linguine with lobster, squash agnolotti, and scallops. Oh, the affogato dessert had great presentation (see ice block picture). Overall, 5/5. I recommend a visit if you can afford the occasion. Valet parking was $18 with “validation”.“

“An authentic Italian pasta place which lives up to the hype. We came after hearing about it from the Worth it series, and was excited to try some of their featured dishes. They broke down their menu and explained how they prepared their pastas. The prices have definitely gone to the pricier side, but I would say it’s worth the quality and portion size. I would definitely recommend trying the salmon and cream dish. Very limited seating, but if you’re lucky enough to get a seat they’ll give you some great bread as well. We loved it, and it’s definitely worth a try.“

GF pizza is cooked in the same ovens so you have to ask them to cook the pizza on a metal tray to prevent the crust from being completely contaminated, but be aware that since it's a shared oven, cross contamination will occur regardless (which is important if you have celiac or are very reactive to gluten).Dietary restrictions: Their GF crust is pretty good. Salads are generally GF too.“
“This place has been around forever. Stopped coming here a few years ago because their pizza crust was always soggy back then. Came back recently and the pizza is great now. Dough has good consistency and taste. One of the better pizza places in the neighborhood.“
