Even though it doesn’t say anything on the menu, the staff seemed to know what vegan is so you can confirm options with them. I recently got the orange tofu and it was really good. “First time going here. I got the Beef Drunken Noodle and the Seafood Tom Yum Soup. When I tell you both dishes had so much flavor and they give you big portions. The food was absolutely delicious and amazing. The waiters were very kind and very attentive. The place was decorated in Halloween decorations, so cute. I loved everything about this place. This will be my go to spot for Thai food from now on. I'm a very hard food critic and this place passed with flying colors. Thank you for the amazing food. I will be back.“

“Today I went to rodeo 39 in Garden Grove with some friends and I stumbled across Kra Z Kai's. It was my second time trying Laos barbecue. This place is a hidden gem for sure. Everything was the delicious. The ribs were marinated for 24 hours. The barbecue pork and the chicken were all marinated in the same sauce. The owner told me the service was fast and this whole ambience was nice some of the best food I've had in a long time next time I'm going to Garden Grove. I will come here again.“

While I haven't had the opportunity to dine in (yet), l've been able to order for pickup on several occasions.

Every time I call in, I get a friendly voice on the other side of the phone. They take my order, give me an estimated time for pick up and I'm there.

Their time estimates are on point as my order's usually ready by the time l arrive but on the very few times it's not; it's usually ready in no more than a couple of minutes.

Everything I've had is tasty but typically I alternate between the Pad Thai and the Pad See Ew depending on my mood. Sometimes I’m feeling a little wild and I get both. Thai food makes for some of the best leftovers so no regrets. Everything is cooked to perfection and as expected with Thai food, very flavorful.

They even have desert if you have a sweet tooth, it's hard to go wrong with their mango sticky rice... that is unless you don't like mango, rice or sticky things.

The staff is friendly, the prices and portions are great and best of all, the food is delicious!
If you're in the area and are looking for some good Thai food, Happy Thai is an excellent choice.“
