“Holy cow that was a good burger! I had a bacon burger and my spouse had the mushroom. We split both burgers and they were both excellent! The mushroom, though, was definitely my favorite of the two.

The fries were great, the house sauce was great (I got the spicy) but the reason we'll be back is for the burger.

“First time dining here. I’m vegan, my daughters aren’t. It’s very rare that we have a place to eat where I’m just as satisfied with my meal as they are. Oshio is FABULOUS! Every single bite of my food was glorious. I had the tofu teriyaki and the tofu was crispy and well breaded, the salad was to die for, bamboo shoots and eggplant sides and the rice! Oh the rice?. Appetizers were all fantastic and my daughters loved the Korean fried chicken. I live here in Chico and am now a new regular of Oshio. Well done and thank you.”

It is definitely the best mac and cheese I've had from a restaurant. Definitely will try other items next time. I also enjoyed the apple, beet, and ginger juice.”

I get all of it waffles biscuits and gravy in sandwiches pasta u name it salads are crisp fresh and huge and did I mention the amazing service here well I'm going to mention it now let's just say that my mom is almost 80 she is frugal has an MF but the service is go freaking awesome here every time does at least 100 times we've gone my mom has always left a damn $10 tip even for a 2 person breakfast special roughly 20 bucks (,including our tea) still a 10 dollar tip no matter whos our server cuz they are all like family and treat us so good even the owner or manager not sure but the Hispanic fellow in his early 60s I'd say hes there like every single time we go and he always checks on us and he always says hello and he'll even come at the end of our meal and make sure everything was wonderful he practically even walks out the door and holds the door open . I over hear so many regulars in here they are like hey John same thing as always like there are some long time serious repeat guests here that's gotta tell u something I'll for sure post pics next time we go oh they close at 2pm. Why? Because they can afford to I'd say cuz they have such amazing food and staff they are rich AF probably”

“Kind of sad when a business faith is dictated by reviews dating years and years ago. Kind of like herpes, if I may, they never seem to disappear, specially when said reviews are detrimental and no longer apply to the present.
Finally I went to this poorly rated establishment for their Taco Tuesday Special at $1.25 each.
I should add that previously someone brought to our place the Monday Special, Burger night, which at this day and age must admit was unbeatable and rather tasty. The kind of special that defies all odds. Also, previously as well had their Wednesday Chicken Wings Special. That one, sadly, a fiasco. Super dry wings, devoid of all appeal, but for the money the quantity was decent.
Anywho, Tackle Box simply rocks, and from the looks it distinguished itself as a truly unique scene. Staff reeked of good manners and friendly demeanor, which I must confess, truly appreciate. The shower singer in me wanted to get up on their stage and make a fool out of myself. The square footage truly mind altering, and the one question nagging me was: why the few and not so good comments? The bar alone is quite a sight!
Tacos: small but loaded, easy to devour but please no less than 6, or will wish it had been. Salsa, meats, sauce, not shabby at all. Staff, as happily mentioned, nice as can be. Restroom particularly clean and originally decorated. Heard Happy Hour beers run for $4 a piece? If so, it would take quite a few to tune ? up.
I thank the good man that drove us there. Karaoke Night Sundays? Buzzed enough I see no reason why I would not make a fool out of myself, God knows over the years I repeatedly have in good fun. Johnny Rivers “Poor Side of Town” seems about right. Tackle Box is an original, and from what I heard, the ownership which dates back and crew deserve plenty of recognition. 1 star 6 years ago, 10?

“This is our go-to spot whenever we find ourselves traveling through Chico. Our favs are the asada salad, albondigas, and Super Molcajete. The steak on the asada salad is SO tasty, all you need is a little lime juice for dressing. Light, filling, and delicious. Their 'hot' salsa is delicious, and they have really good, creamy flan and tasty micheladas! The staff is always friendly and accommodating. We have taken a large group of people twice, and both times they exceeded expectations.”

“Best kept secrete in Chico. I'm hesitant to write a review since I'm worried the place will become too busy. But I want them to be successful so that they stay open. Best atmosphere, quality, and value for breakfast and dinner.
You can make reservations shortly before your arrival. There is plenty of room for larger groups.
Bloody Mary, chicken and waffles, eggs Benedict are amongst the best in Chico.
They have a great happy hour menu, and the French dip and chicken sandwich is on point.
Service is always wonderful. It's my go-to spot whenever I have guests in town or to get together with friends.
Try it once, and you'll keep coming back! I could keep going on, but you get the point.”

“always been great service and amazing food but tonight was an experience I'd never encountered food amazing as always but service was far below my normal experience. main reason being I was charged an automatic gratuity because of a large party that I understand what I don't understand is the audacity to charge me a automatic gratuity and still charge me for a second drink after I didn't receive my meal till I asked for it 3 times after everyone else had already ate. mind you 5 people showed up after everyone else but my cousin and I got to watch everyone else eat l. will never lie food is always awesome cant blame chefs, or the guys at sushi bar today was just horrible service”

Simple offering but truly one of its kind. Yes, I can prepare a variation at home, with similar sausage patties, chicken eggs cooked in a mold to mikeyD’s likeness, correct muffin variety, even the hash browns, but when these babies are on sale, nowadays 2 for $6, I’m awake and on the go, and nearby one, and my wallet is singing in unison with me the let’s go get it song, it will happen. Advice to the wise: if at all possible eat them as soon as possible, as newly dispatched from their oven beats reheated every time. Coffee, tea, milkshake, juice, etc and I realize this one is all McDonalds, they have the upper hand. 4.5 Stars.”

We just love all their tacos and burritos. Their shrimp with so much wonderful cheese on a corn tortilla is amazing and I could get a few of those. The nachos are so good and any taco you order with cheese has the best cheese and there is a lot of it.

The prices are great and the place is kept clean. They have tables outside if you want to do that. Most take it to go. Whether they deliver I don't know.

“Nash's Restaurant Review I haven't been to Nash's in years, it was always a place where you could get a satisfying dish of food with a nice atmosphere. On this day, Nash's was hopping and busy with every table filled with happy customers. The wait was not long to be seated, once I received my menu with a 4 min wait my order was taken, in no time my plate arrived. My waitress Amy, was friendly and had a patient personality and excellent interpersonal skills, responded to all my questions about the breakfast menu. I ordered the half plate of Carnitas Benedict, that came with one poached egg on an English muffin with carnitas, avocado and dice tomatoes, all topped off with their delicious house verde sauce with a bit of cilantro, my choice of side was their hash browns, in my opinion "The Best Hash Browns In Chico" Nash's was just like I remember, really good food with a great staff. I highly recommend you stop in for a bite to eat and try the Carnitas Benedict Breakfast. I will definitely be visiting Nash's more often. All in all I'll give that visit a 5 Star Rating.”

Every bite was delicious and unique! We met the owner Lilli who was very sweet and willing to please. “Best pho in Chico. Had three other spots in town and this is by far the best. Comparable to the bigger cities like Sacramento and the Bay Area. The only negative part of their pho is the size/quantity of noodles. If you're used to other pho restaurants sizes, this place is definitely on the smaller end.”
