“Great little place to hang out and watch a sports game or listen to live music. The bartender was very polite and had a great personality and loved her purple hair.. Go Sacramento Kings... My friend ordered the pizza and she said it was very good. They have a pool table and dance floor for live bands. They do have leather couches too. Anyway, I was very pleased with going to the The Couch and having a great time .“

“The food was absolutely wonderful!! I am from Texas City Texas I can to visit my sister . We ordered a little bit of everything. I seen the owner taking pride and preparing the meals . They handed the food very nicely. My Brussel sprouts was the best !! Never had them like this . The meatloaf was well seasoned . My Mac and cheese was great ! I am picky and this food has me wanting me to ask my sister to mail me a plate next day through the mail . Keep up the amazing work ! I hope to see this place in my city one day .“

Spice your day up omelette is great! 9/10 California Benedict 10/10 I recommend getting extra hollandaise sauce. “Be prepared to wait! Even coming for early dinner it is PACKED. But worth it every time. A staple dish is the Mary's fried chicken. Not pictured are the pesto fries and they're bomb. All their cocktails are delicious, lots of beer on tap, and seasonal dessert options. All the same people always working and so kind. Never disappointed when I leave here.“

“My third or fourth visit to Hawks. I've never been disappointed, and tonight was a memorable experience. Party of four for early dinner. The mushroom soup amuse bouche was wonderful. White Fog Farm lettuce salad was (reportedly) excellent. The Caesar salad was tasty but the creamy dressing revealed it as an imitation Caesar (in my opinion); the saving grace was the white anchovy on top. (I am a Caesar salad purist and I am frequently unimpressed; woe is me.). Entrées: Duck--excellent! Short ribs--excellent! Steelhead--excellent! Lamb loin--excellent and more! Wine: Fair--a Tuscan red, good but overpriced for the quality. Dessert: We have had the "beignets" before--these are tasty enough but they are NOT in any sense beignets--just sugary doughnut holes with caramel sauce on the side. What they called an entremet might, in a pinch, be considered a "deconstructed" entremet--but an entremet it was not. The parts were, however, very good, if little more than a small mound of fond chocolate with cocoa nibs and a bit of white filling. We were very pleased with the unexpected serving of two extra dessert items, quartets of little chocolate dollops on shortbread and Sangria-infused gel cubes--very playful and delightful. Decent late-bottled vintage port and good tea and coffee. The service was spot on--absolutely top-notch. We were VERY pleased with service and atmosphere. Despite the scattered culinary contradictions, I say : Go to Hawks--time well spent.“

“Great spot, good food, decent prices, super quick service. This spot is next to my work and I have been curious about it and was in the mood for something different, this place nailed it. I went with the butter chicken, hefty helping served over rice with a decent size side salad for like $11. I ate about half of it and will be eating the other half for dinner, fully recommend this spot.“

“It's always worth the one hour drive from our home to enjoy lunch or brunch at the High Hand Cafe where you can enjoy your meal while you feel you're eating in a beautiful "greenhouse" we've consistently enjoyed delicious breakfasts and sandwiches. They are adjacent to a nursery and a pretty incredible koi pond. So, if you do not have a reservation and there is a wait...it goes by pretty quickly as you meander through the grounds. And even after, there are shops and a wine tasting option on the premises! THE STAFF... each and every time we've visited, we have come away thinking and feeling how nice it is to enjoy a meal served by an entire staff that truly enjoy serving, Always pleasant and with a smile. Give High Hand Cafe a try...you'll enjoy the entire experience!!Kid-friendliness: We have visited High Hand Cafe with the kids, the staff is attentive and quick to take our order and deliver the meal! There is even an outdoor pizza oven so the kids enjoyed seeing their pizza being made!“

“This is my boyfriend's go-to spot and he kept raving about how good it is, so of course I had to be the judge of that ;) We came in on a pretty busy Monday night, but were able to place our orders and snag a table. There's TVs all over so you won't miss out on anything no matter where you sit at. I got the Little Mule, which came with a sunny-side up egg. I absolutely loved the way the yolk oozed out. It was even better when I dipped the fries in it hehe. The fries themselves were really nice and crispy while maintaining a nice fluff to them. I liked how they used hawaiian rolls for their burgers, it adds a sweetness that balances out all the savory flavors. I took a bite of my boyfriend's burger and the chicken was super nice and juicy. He ordered a side of buffalo sauce which had a super unique flavor that was unlike any other buffalo sauces we've tried. It had a peppery undertone and was thicker than a normal buffalo sauce. Their burger patties are similar to a smash patty, so it has that nice crispy edge around it. I absolutely devoured mine since I was in the mood for a burger this night :p Everything was super good and I would totally come back to try out their other items :)!“

“We celebrated our National Charity League ladies holiday party at Gaslight Co. earlier this month. They were amazing! The event coordinator Casey was responsive and easy to work with. The night of the event the back room was festive, the food was delicious and plentiful, and the cocktails were phenomenal! I would highly recommend Gaslight for a celebration or just a night out!“

It's a good balance of relaxed "next door" atmosphere, with a top quality menu and preparation. Try the Elk medallions if they're on the menu! “Usually the food was amazing and it was still good but my steak with broccolini and mashed potatoes was a salt lick last night. We had lots of burgers, the amazing poke for appetizers (2 for 5 of us because it’s that good) and drinks. They turned on the fire pit for us and then we hung out there for a bit. Great time as usual.Make a reservation if the weather is nice or they probably can’t fit you in even if you see tables available due to staffing. They will let you sit in the bar area and get appetizers.Parking: One of those teeny lots where people make about 5 spaces on their own during dinner“

“First time there and loved it! Dog friendly so had a nice patio seat. They even brought Scar a bowl of rice, chicken, egg. Human food was great. “Matteo's Pizza & Bistro is a lovely classy restaurant that has a beautiful indoor and outdoor dining area. I especially love to come here on warm summer nights and sit outside with the hanging bulbed lights, water wall and lush vegetation surrounding the outdoor patio area. It's wicked pleasant. Their menu is a good size and they offer specials and change up dishes based on whats in season. I really like their pasta dishes especially. This visit I hot the scallops and they were summer yummy and sliced like butter. I also got to try the salmon tacos which were good and satisfying and their roasted beet salad. That reminds me, I love their salads too. They also sell wine and if there's a wait it's fun to wander around their wine display and check out the different labels. Wonderful servers too and host. “I'm a newly minted platinum member, and my game has improved immensely since I started going to Top Golf 6 months back or so. I get bored to death at driving ranges and this is a good remedy. Only dropping 1 star off the food for two reasons... Killed off my two go to menu items the breakfast biscuit and the Turkey wrap. Breakfast biscuit because it was the tastiest and turkey wrap cause it was good and under 1000k calories which is hard to find on the lunch menu. The tater tot hash thing doesn't compare and the similar "light" lunch item in the grilled chicken sandwich... Not great honestly. I get someone obviously made the decision to get biscuits and wrappers out of the kitchen and get everything on tots or a hamburger bun to simplify things... But these were really two of the better items for a regular who doesn't want a burger 3 days a week I'm my opinion. That plus more seasonal rotating taps, like some stouts, porters, ambers and reds on the beer menu would be nice too. Lagers IPAs and Mexican beers are swell but the more the merrier on beer. Love going here, great service every time... just sharing minor, minor grievances/suggestions and mostly because I was looking forward to a breakfast biscuit and had my heart broken. Also 1000 thanks for the veteran discount!! Great team running this place, hope you open one in Folsom or EDH too!“

“Been here twice in last 3 weeks with my buddy and neighbor Mike. The food was pretty good for a sports bar. Our server the first time was Candace and last night Thursday September 28 was Teresa. Both times the servers were outstanding. They each were fun, friendly and very attentive. They both really added to an already good vibe. Loads of TV's and good viewing layout although the sound was very uneven between tv's and couldn't hear the broadcast for the Packer game. We expect to become regulars here because of the food and the servers. Hope they can sort of the audio issues. Really a fun place !!! Ron K.“

“It's right next to the Residence Inn, so you can walk.You can get a huge burger + sides for under $15 excluding tip.Very delicious.There are a variety of alcoholic beverages, so it's a good place to go with a light heart when you don't feel like going far.“

“We really enjoy our visits here, we have come by for lunch and dinner. It's a pretty chill place normally. We did come by on a Friday night and they had karaoke in the bar, which was fun to hear. The manager really helped us when had an issue with the food. The item was removed from the check and a glass of wine was comped. Really appreciated how quickly he responded. Whenever we are in town, this place is a definitely on our list.“

“This was our first visit to Rosie's. We stopped in to this family run spot for breakfast last week. The space has some kitschy little touches like a silverware clock and outlet plug ins in the booths??? It could definitely benefit from a little face lift. Service was another area that could have used a little improvement. We were greeted and seated and then left to our own for a bit. The menu options are plentiful which is not always a good thing. The food was mostly hit or miss for us. The hash browns on the Benedict are very pretty but were left uneaten due to the stale grease taste. The scramble was pretty tasty. This is a 3.5 star review for us which I will round up for being a family run establishment.“

“This place is located INSIDE "Local Kitchens"It was clean, fast, and seating inside and 3 tablets to order. “Very nice place near by our house but they will charge you extra for just using card. The price of the foods is decent. They should let people know that they will charge you extra if you use credit card. Otherwise, people can pay with cash. We love to support local but not when the charge you 2-3 dollars just for using card. We can go to chili's and get better deals and they won't charge you for using card.“

“I’ve been here several times and they never disappoint. Their Bloody Mary you can’t have just one. Bring your appetite because everything on their menu is on par. “What can I say about it that hasn't been said before? Got a burger since it was advertised as their award winning burger and it was excellent. My wife got tomato soup as well as a meat quiche. I should've gotten the meat quiche. That was also really good as well. To top it I got a bloody Mary. They seem like they didn't mix it well and I felt all the alcohol was on top. No points taken off though since it was good anyways.“

The grilled asparagus adds a nice touch to the meal and the creme brûlée' is a must! We also tried their New Zealand Sauvignon blanc - light and smooth, great pairing with the food. The host and server were very attentive. Yes, I'd definitely go back!“

“Alright, I admit, I have been driving past this place for decades. I always thought "Huh, cool name. I should stop sometime" but never did for some reason. Last night my wife and I were driving past after an event in Rocklin and we decided to finally give it a shot. Why have we not been here before?! An incredibly cozy and fun neighborhood bar. Great food; my cheesesteak was amazing and the homemade chips were on point. The prices are totally fair. The ambience was fun with a lot of regulars in good spirits. The music was there but not so loud that you couldn't hold a conversation. Apparently one of the owners is from Chicago, so there is plenty of Cubs and Bears paraphernalia along with SF gear (the other owner is NorCal) and it definitely has the Midwest "neighborhood bar" vibe. I half expected to see a bottle of Mallort behind the bar. Anyway, you should definitely stop driving by The Glass Turtle and stop in!!“

“Not sure how this place isn't rated higher. Only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is costs...but read on. While pricey the amount of food received was incredible. The 6 wings and tots meal could feed 3 ppl easy. Guy working front counter was very nice and helpful. Food came timely, all delicious. If your too cost sensitive be prepared but once you get it you won't be disappointed. Plan to share a meal and for costs it's a major deal!!! I'll be back again. Wings were meaty and Kiki's sauce really good. Tots good plain but really enjoyed the Kiki's tots too. Garlic fries worth it as well.“

“Any Jack's Urban Eats is always a pleasure to visit and go thru their cafeteria like ordering system and then sit and hangout a bit. This time we did an online order and was able to pick our food up from their self pick up shelf which was nice because I didn't have to visit the busy workers. I always go for their chicken sandwich, husband likes to get the mango salsa chicken sandwich with a gluten free bun which is so nice that they offer, and we go for the family garlic fries which are always good. We also got a side of Mac and cheese for our one year old and I haven't ordered that dish before and unfortunately it was not good. Was not nearly cheesy enough and the noodles weren't cooked al dente. My baby girl didn't even give them the time of day and she LOVES Mac and cheese. Maybe it was a bad batch but probably won't try that again. Otherwise any other item on the menu is amazing! And truly the employees put in work to make it amazing so kudos for them.“
