“The food was amazing and presented with a good value. I was most impressed by The Galbi-jjim as well as the banchan with the dotori muk or acorn jelly noodle. Very fresh meat, good portions for sharing. I loved the bright lights, colors, and the giftshop.Dietary restrictions: Please note that some of the soups have shellfish in addition to the listed ingredients.Parking: The parking lot is completely free behind the gas station and there won't be no problems.Kid-friendliness: Sharing is not a problem the kids also can share from the combo grill plates. Plenty of non-alcoholic drinks are available to order.“

“My experience with this restaurant was amazing. The interior in her was very retro and sleek. The workers here are so kind and helpful as well. The employees cook everything for you which was so lovely. The intestines were absolutely delicious but I will say for me, the Yang was a little hard to chew but overall it was great! Also, the side dishes were so good and there were a variety of traditional Korean dishes like jang jo rim (soybean seasoned beef) and green onion kimchi. The intestines were a bit heavy as well but I would totally come here again!“

“Excellent service and great food! Had made a reservation for a large party, greeted us by name and tables were prepared with side dishes when we arrived. Waiter went above and beyond, was attentive and accommodating. Great quality food as well!“

“Pros: excellent speedy service, they cook for you, quality meat. Cons: on the pricier side Been here a couple of times and we get consistently good service and quality of meat. We usually get the hodong combo. And it stuffs a family of 3. Highly recommended if you've never been here and want to try something different than an AYCE(all you can eat) bbq. The flow of the restaurant is very efficient. We come in and get seated to a table with ban Chan (Korean side dishes) already at the table. They take your order. The meats come out in under 5 minutes and immediately the servers start cooking your food. Servers are usually readily available with eye contact or a simple wave. So I don't have to shout (Jogiyo- over here!) so it's not as robust as a typical kbbq joint. With their service being so good it's hard to find time to chitchat. The server was constantly coming to our table to cook the meat and will let us know when it's ready. They grill it, cut it into bite sized pieces and done! Ready to eat. Meanwhile if we're low on ban Chan, we can ask him once he visits our table every 5 minutes. A caveat to that is, if you enjoy your meat cooked in a certain way, prepare to chat with the server. For instance my wife enjoys pork belly crispy so once we communicated that to the server he took care of it. Another meat that concerned me was the boneless short ribs in the hodong combo. When the server said it was ready, I noticed that there were some sides to the meat that haven't touched the grill yet. So I cooked it a little more. But overall it was still a very good laid back experience. A pitcher and empty cups are accompanied at your table so you can serve yourself water. I had a Coke which the server never let me go empty. He was always asking if I would like a refill. If I had one complaint. Their kimchi wasn't as good as other Korean places. It was nice and crunchy but It wasn't as savory and was more sour than I expected. We usually clean up the kimchi and ask for seconds but today we couldn't finish the first plate of kimchi. However the service and quality meat more than makes up for it. Can't wait to come again!“

“Frequent KBBQgoer. Prices for this place were reasonable (weekends don't offer lunch pricing). The service was good—waitress was very attentive. Their brisket and galbi are the best by far. Some of the other meats were too dry for my taste. They offered free ice cream at the end, which was terrific. The space was clean and they changed grills frequently. Side dishes were good. For the price point and atmosphere, a very good afternoon :)“

“This place definitely should have over 5 stars! Absolutely delicious and the service by Michelle was way over the top. She was very delightful and very helpful. And my girlfriend and I both had our meals that were way better than any average Korean restaurant. We really enjoyed our experience here and we highly recommend anyone to come try a very tasty Korean food with awesome service. Thank you!“

“Really, really good food. The pork ribs were amazing.“
“It's good not your typical Korean BBQ. First, the prices are very reasonable. Enclosed but open air on the golf course, kind of like a large patio, so it does not get too smoky like a regular k-bbq restaurant. Banchan side dishes are good quality and well prepared, place is clean and airy. Excellent service, good quality meat, and larger than average portions for the price. Definitely worth a try if in the mood for Korean bbq!“

“Excellent Service and I loved the quality of the meats.Parking: It is a plaza so there are many establishments, of course availability will depend on how busy all the stores are.Kid-friendliness: I think it is a family restaurant...there is a grill on each table; that is where you cook your own food: if you are careful with the children everything will be fine.“

“Wanted to explore this plaza while waiting for a table at a separate table, but came across this hidden gem! The smell of the bbq charcoal itself inside was so pleasant we gave up our seating at the other place and got seated within 3 minutes around 630pm on a Saturday. How is it that this place doesn't have a long line outside the door beats us. There are set menus items that serve beginning of 1-2 people and up. The price for the sets are reasonable (~$70?) for seafood and they cook the seafood over the grill that is built into the table. The seafood comes on a large wooden boat and anything not eaten can be taken to go. For the two of us, the small, silver set, was more than enough. We had to take a potato and the noodle soup home. The fish had too many bones for us to try very much of it and the oyster was kind of just basic tasting even with lemon squeezed over it. However, the shrimp, clams (Manilla clams over cherry clams), and octopus are absolutely exquisite with its bbq charcoal flavor that reminded me of outdoor bbq in Busan. The dark inside decor with string lights also reminded me of being outside in Busan or some beach outdoor bbq place we could see in a K-drama. Overall, i cannot wait to come back for more seafood bbq!Vegetarian options: The potato is probably the only vegan option. Otherwise, this is not for vegetarians.Dietary restrictions: There is a raw sushi salad that was delicious, but it is raw sushi. That is the only thing that is not cooked.Parking: Located in a plaza with the 99 center store with plenty of free parking spots.“

“I wish we would've come here earlier in the day! They close slightly early, but the service was amazing! They do have a bar with marinated meats, salad, and other sides. I personally think their pricing is amazing too ($27 per person for all you can eat KBBQ baby). We got several orders of the brisket and I love the beef bulgogi. Since we did arrive later than normal, they didn't have their bar fully stocked with meat and sides. Even though we did come late, they still served us with smiles and kindness. I give this place 9/10, I am trying to go back again when my wallet lets me lol“

“Awesome experience! Davey, our server was great, friendly and attentive! He was always nearby and whatever we needed, he was there to help with a smile. I have gluten, dairy n egg allergies, super hard to eat out especially at Asian restaurants. Davey patiently listened to me and asked the kitchen what i could eat! I am so grateful for his attentiveness! The food was great but i will go back just for the service!“

“This is one of the best authentic Korean places you can get. Better than most places in LA County or OC. For some credibility, I am Korean. The taste is flavorful but clean. Everything is good but my favorites are the grilled pork, cold radish noodles, beef rib soup and soon tofu. My kids inhale all the side dishes everytime we come. All the waitresses are so friendly and always happy to see us. Parking is plentiful in the back.“

“My first time here was not the best because we came around 9:10pm and was able to get a seat without waiting. We ordered our first round and when the meat came my server just dumped all my beef tongue on the grill when the grill was not hot. This caused my beef tongue to be soggy and very tender.. :( We continue cooking other cuts of meat as we order and surprisingly the meat cuts were pretty nice compared to all the other AYCE bbq places out there. Soooooo...We visit Thirsty Cow almost once every two weeks! We come here for friends gathering, dates, and even just regular dining. We came here mostly for the meat cuts cuz to us thats what matters the most! Instead of trying other places we just stick to Thirsty Cow for ayce bbqs now since their meat quality are by far the best and most consistent. Our most recent visit was on April 7th and we noticed that they changed their menu a little bit. They now have wet and dry aged meats for their Premium option which was a plus for us. More options for Wagyu but they removed their Tomahawk :( They give each person 1 Melona ice cream after you pay so that was pretty nice and cute in my opinion. Their service can be a little messy since they do not offer virtual waitlist or phone reservation. You need to check in at the counter to get a place in line and then wait for your number to be called. Lines are unfortunately pretty long most of the time. We tried visiting at 2:30pm, 3:30pm, 4pm and even 8pm. Usually there's always a 30 minutes minimum wait time.Service provided by their servers varies a lot depending on how busy they are. Sometimes I see my server running around all tables taking care of more than 7 tables at a time and other times I just never see my server anywhere ever. So it depends a little bit on your luck and the days you visit. Either way, definetly give them a try for their meat!!! I believe they also increased their price slightly from what they used to be.“
