“Made a reservation online and got there 10 min before we started. You’ll be waiting outside till they call your name/party. You’ll then be guided to your seats.Water/tea is served to you and you’ll be waiting about 15 min for the experience to begin.I wasn’t sure how many courses as it was my birthday gift. Since it was my birthday, I did get a complimentary cheesecake in the very end with a birthday song.Food: it was a very nice experience. They say what you’re eating before serving it to you. Uni, crab, wagyu, tuna, fruits, theyll explain and show you where it’s from! It’s very interesting to know where my food is coming from. “The food was great the pork and cabbage dumplings with soy sauce were bomb. Ordered both bafang signature ramen and another spicy ramen but they both tasted almost the same and almost no spicy so if you add more chili sauce that they provide be generous with it to get the spice. I also got the mini wonton soup which was also really good, the wontons were perfect no complaints and the broth was a great compliment to the wontons. If you like more flavor fry mixing in the chili sauce and some ginger sauce that they have in and trust it elevates it a lot. Their soy mango drink is also really good not too sweet and I added boba which went really good with it. 9/10 would definitely go again but not so much for the ramen because there want enough spice to call it spicy and both spicy ramens tasted the same.“

“Excellent AYCE hot pot place! There’s an attention to detail to the dining experience that I really appreciate. They have a lifting hot pot separator so you see what you put inside. Service is quick and friendly and never seems like they are limiting you in any way. The meats are high quality and thinly cut, the veggies selection is abundant and cleanly maintained, the sauces selection is good, there’s some appetizers and a soda machine. “My first time here was not the best because we came around 9:10pm and was able to get a seat without waiting. We ordered our first round and when the meat came my server just dumped all my beef tongue on the grill when the grill was not hot. This caused my beef tongue to be soggy and very tender.. :( We continue cooking other cuts of meat as we order and surprisingly the meat cuts were pretty nice compared to all the other AYCE bbq places out there. Soooooo...We visit Thirsty Cow almost once every two weeks! We come here for friends gathering, dates, and even just regular dining. We came here mostly for the meat cuts cuz to us thats what matters the most! Instead of trying other places we just stick to Thirsty Cow for ayce bbqs now since their meat quality are by far the best and most consistent. Our most recent visit was on April 7th and we noticed that they changed their menu a little bit. They now have wet and dry aged meats for their Premium option which was a plus for us. More options for Wagyu but they removed their Tomahawk :( They give each person 1 Melona ice cream after you pay so that was pretty nice and cute in my opinion. Their service can be a little messy since they do not offer virtual waitlist or phone reservation. You need to check in at the counter to get a place in line and then wait for your number to be called. Lines are unfortunately pretty long most of the time. We tried visiting at 2:30pm, 3:30pm, 4pm and even 8pm. Usually there's always a 30 minutes minimum wait time.Service provided by their servers varies a lot depending on how busy they are. Sometimes I see my server running around all tables taking care of more than 7 tables at a time and other times I just never see my server anywhere ever. So it depends a little bit on your luck and the days you visit. Either way, definetly give them a try for their meat!!! I believe they also increased their price slightly from what they used to be.“

“4++ If it wasn't for Yelp, I probably wouldn't have known this place existed. This Peruvian restaurant is located in an unassuming strip mall on a smaller road in City of Industry. I came in for lunch one day a while back and it wasn't too busy. Looks like a place that gets busier at night or the weekends. Got seated right right away. Couldn't really decide what I wanted, so I went with my go to Peruvian dish when I'm unfamiliar with a spot or have trouble deciding: lomo saltado. I thought this was done really well. The sauteed beef was really tasty along the veggies served with rice. I could've sworn there's a little vanilla used in the recipe... I was the only one in the restaurant at the time and it smelled a little like delicious waffle cone you smell at those ice cream shops. Overall, the food was great and service / people were friendly. Great neighborhood spot.“

“I came here and ordered party trays for my family Potluck and I must say their food and service was excellent. Peking duck was fresh and flavorful. Green beans, fried rice, chow mein was a hit. Their sesame bread was delicious. Steve, the manager was very helpful took my order and staff was nice enough to help me carry out the food to my car. Honestly it's the simplest things like that now days matters because Service does matter. Definitely coming back here again to dine in.“

“Kim Tar's roast duck is the best in the area. The Hainan chicken is of very high quality. Somehow Kim Tar's taste is different among the Chinese BBQ's in the area and good/authentic. We've been coming here for 20 years, having our get together and bday celebrations here. Staff is very friendly.“

“Been ordering cakes from here for many years and love every cake ordered. We've bought regular cakes the same day, special ordered, and customized for baptisms. The only sad part about everything is that they stopped making the sponge cakes with jello . I only wished they would bring it back because I've been craving it for years. “Teddy's Taco was really good! My co-worker recommended the Jalapeno taco. So, I ordered one Jalapeno taco, one carne asada street taco, and one barbacoa street taco. All three were good but that blank taco was REALLY GOOD! It has a whole grilled jalapeno, creamy avocado sauce and marinated raisins in the meat. Now, I know what you're thinking but the little hint of sweetness the raisins add just takes this taco over the top and differentiates it from any other taco I've ever had. I wish I had gotten three of those instead of just one but since it was my first time I wanted to try a couple of different things. Next time I go to Teddy's Tacos I will be getting three of those. Delicioso! ???Now, I also tried the Cucumber Margarita and that was pretty good too. They put chamoy and tajin around the rim of the glass, as you can see in the picture. The lady that took my order said that it's a wine based margarita instead of tequila, which is interesting but also makes it not so strong since I had to go back to work. “We usually come here for a pre New Year's lunch. The duck needs to be pre-ordered. With 4 adults, it's easy to go through 2 duck orders.Everything has duck flavor in here. The bean sprouts with duck meat tastes like it was also cooked in duck broth. The duck soup is definitely rich but not salty. Duck has lots of collagen, so it has its benefits.It's a small place hence it's a good idea to reserve ahead of time.“

“One of my go-to places in the area. Simple. Solid personal hotpot. I always get the t-rex lamb sukiyaki with ponzu sauce. Love that they have this extra meat option. Everything comes out fairly quickly. There's plenty amount of veggies. The lamb has a slight gamey taste, but it's still just so delicious.“

What's there not to like.Service is fast since they're rather small indoor seating so it's easy to flag down staff to order. Of course there's also outdoor seating too, but it's "fast" food since you order and in about 10 minutes or less the food is already at your table. We're usually in and out in under 30 minutes.“

“Saturday 2/24/24 Lunch at Yumi Time in City of Industry. Trying out this Taiwanese style foods restaurant. The foods I’ve ordered was delicious. Braised chicken with gravy, veggies, eggs Sunnyside up, meatballs soup, and white rice. The flavors and spices were made just right and tasty without any over bearing taste of a particular spice. I’ve enjoyed the meal: the meatball soup with a little raw diced celery add crunch and unique flavor. The meatballs tasted really good without any cheap fillers. The braised chicken was perfectly spiced with their awesome gravy on the side for the chicken and rice to brings the foods to the next level.Alex, restaurant manager, and a female staff were friendly and attentive.Word of advice to restaurant owner(s): the foods were delicious, however, there can be an improvement to gain more business. I felt the portion of rice should be increase. Here is the reason why. For your customers who has a good appetite (including myself) due to the less (not enough) portion of the rice included in the meal, the customer won’t feel satisfied and may have to go elsewhere to eat more. When spending about $15-$20 for a meal, it should be a one stop restaurant to feel satisfied. If not, customers won’t be returning to the restaurant. Provide a little more rice to the meal; it is inexpensive and can provide a word of mouth advising for your restaurant.Restaurant is open from 11am-3:00pm, 6 days a week. These are mostly lunch hours. Please expand your hours to include lunch and or dinner so more customers can go and give you business. “If you're looking for both KBBQ and hotpot, Cocary is the place! Everything is DIY and customizable! The idea is that you can go up to the fridges and pick up any meats, veggies, sauces, etc that you want and you're free to cook it however you like back at your table. There's rice and porridge on the side to complement the meats. I highly recommend getting their BBQ sauce and mixing it with a bit of soy sauce and vinegar. Its helps cut through the richness of the meat and goes super well with the rice! The hotpot is also a nice addition since having soup at the end is a nice way to cut through the oil and wrap up the meal. I would give them a try if you haven't already!!“
