“Family and I love coming to Lees. They are always friendly and welcoming. The food is really good and fresh. Their baguettes are soft and have a good crunch. My favorite is the Lee's club with provolone cheese instead of American oh and that pickle the flavor is on point and that crunch Don't forget your Lee's coffee it will give you the perfect kick in the .... To start or finish your day. Also their prices are great when we go with the family it very appreciated especially in these times. Only complain this time was that my son's grilled pork sandwich had more veggies than pork first time it happens.“

“Super cool place, was looking for a place to eat on a cold day that was not to crowded and decided that some soup would be nice. Chose this establishment and got greeted by a worker. I was able to look through the menu without being rushed finally came to the conclusion on a Beef soup, an order of egg roles and a passion fruit green tea. Over all my food came out to be pretty good! Soup had some nice pieces of beef wile containing some warm broth, egg roles were nice and crunchy! Ended up ordering a second drink to go for my sister! Good experience Definitely would come back?“

“This is everything a Vietnamese sandwich shop should be. #1 or #3, iced coffee, a produce box on top of a milk crate for seating, and soap operas on the tele. It's a food stall. Nothing more, nothing less. Walked out of there with 3 Bahn Mis, iced coffee, and a soda for $25 (not including tip; don't forget to tip). Actually, I walked out without anything because...soaps operas. Just left with a memory of what I wish I had at home“

“Not gonna lie... this Vietnamese cafe serving up pho as well as some other small and special dishes came up on my radar because I saw some fellow Yelpers go to an event here. The food looked/ sounded amazing and it's not too far from where I'm working at the moment. The service here is friendly and the decor /vibe feels and looks like a modern Vietnamese restaurant or cafe. I was really tempted to order the pho here, but opted for the butterfly pea sticky rice (or Xoi Thap Cam) instead. From the pictures, the dish looked beautiful and it's something I haven't had at Vietnamese restaurants in a long time. Also, I think I've had pho a few times around that time...(it's been cold) I also ordered the Bluegrass Lemonade to wash it down. The sticky rice dish had lots of delicious flavors and textures from all the different items. Such a fun dish that's presented very well and a delicious alternative to what probably gets ordered most here (the pho). Don't get me wrong, I definitely want to come back to try their pho as well, but was so happy to try the dish that I ordered. Place is located in a tiny lot/strip mall that was pretty close to a freeway. They have their own parking, but it might get tight. I think there may be street parking close by.“

“Worth the wait. I avoided the wait as I went before the lunch rush on a Saturday morning. Around 10:45am. Their broth is clean, light but flavorful. It was not overly sweet like some places. The eggrolls were the rice paper kind and not the wonton type. It was super crispy and right amt of chewy. Spring rolls were equally delicious. Found meter parking outside. Would definitely return.“

“I had been hearing a lot of good things about the food here so I finally made my way into Silverlake to check it out. As you are probably already aware, this is a take out or delivery restaurant. You cannot dine in here. You actually can't even enter the building. The front door is a two piece door and when they are open for business, the top part of the door will be open. You order from there and then wait on the sidewalk for your order to be ready. You can also call in an order in advance or use various delivery services. There was not anyone waiting to order when I got there so I was able to walk directly up to the door and immediately order. I had to wait approximately 10 minutes for my order to be prepared and in those 10 minutes they got very busy. Six people came up to pickup phone or delivery orders during that time and those pickups went very quickly. A line began to form to order during that time and when I left with my order there were 5 other people who had placed others and were now waiting for their orders to be prepared and an additional 7 other people waiting in line to place orders. They prepare their food quickly but keep in mind, they need to cook the food after you place your order. If there is already a line to place your order and people waiting for their food to finish cooking, all of that will add to the amount of time it will take before your order has been prepared. If you are in a hurry and need your order quickly, perhaps you should consider another restaurant such as a fast food restaurant. They do prepare the food as quickly as they can but keep in mind, you will wait approximately 5 to 10 minutes at a minimum and the more people you see standing around out front will add to that wait time. Is it worth the wait? Oh yes, it is worth it. I had the popcorn chicken, Summer Rolls and the Caramelized Pork. The Popcorn chicken and its dipping sauce was a real treat for the taste buds. The chicken is double fried but is not dry on the inside and the dipping sauce has the perfect bite of spices to it. The summer rolls are huge. Your choice of protein or vegetables only. They really could be a meal within themselves and the vegetables were very fresh with lots of vegetable crunch in every bite. The Caramelized Pork came with sticky rice and cooked with hard boiled eggs. It was as good as it sounds (which is very good). The portion sizes were very good with my order easily being enough for two people with some leftovers. Truly, the summer rolls are so large that you cannot help but have leftovers. Parking can be very tricky here. There are yellow painted loading zones in front of the restaurant and the mom & pop grocery store next door so if you are just picking up an order that had already been placed, you shouldn't have a problem. You may find yourself desperately looking for a place to park though. Keep that in mind but don't let that scare you off. You will be thankful for the effort you put in when you are finally home and enjoying the fruits of your troubles. BTW, I hear that their Bahn Mi sandwiches are so good. I look forward to trying that next time.“

“My go-to spot in Chinatown Los Angeles for Pho!Very quick prompt service. This place tends to get filled with hungry, happy customers pretty rapidly.Don't worry, just tell them your party size and they'll get to you sooner rather than later. “Came around dinner time and there were no tables inside so we had to wait for a table. We stood for around 5 minutes before we got a table. The restaurant is small so I could see why it took a while to be seated. However, since the store is small, we ended up getting a table right by their side entrance door so we felt cold wind every time someone entered or exited. This made our dining experience not as enjoyable since it was a pretty chilly night so the wind was cold and interrupted the meal.We ordered the Filet Mignon Pho (15.5) and Shabu Shabu Style Beef Pho (15.5). They were served pretty fast which was good. The noodles and soup were alright, nothing super special from other pho places I have been too. The beef quality for both pho noodles we got were pretty good though. The meat wasn't tough to chew and was easy to bite and swallow. The shabu shabu style beef was nice and unique as well. It made the pho experience different than others. The portions are very generous though for the price. I could have shared it with another person because there was a lot of noodles.Overall, the pho here is pretty average and the only unqiue thing is their shabu shabu style pho option. Their service is also just normal, you have to go to the cashier to pay for your table at the end of the meal. I would recommend just coming here for a try.“

“We wanted something healthy but flavorful for dinner and happened upon this place in the neighborhood, pretty no frills on the inside. Clearly a big focus on deliveries, but there's plenty of tables. We each got a steak banh mi and WOW was it good! So much flavor, and the bread was perfect; hard enough to hold it together, but easy to bite into. The crispy spring rolls were perfect as well, clearly freshly made and decently sized. We also split some noodles and were pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes. Definitely will be back.“

If you are hungry, come here as your food comes out fast. The soup tastes light, but flavorful. I also got a Thai tea that was very refreshing and not too sweet, and a vietnamese coffee with coconut milk that was very rich in coffee flavor and sweet. My father ordered the level 7 ramen stir fried and said it was very good, not very spicy. We shared a level 7 and a level 10 BBQ wing. “Yummy soup! Perfect place to go on a cold day.My girlfriend and I stopped here yesterday for some lunch. As busy and full as the parking lot was, this restaurant was nearly empty with only 3 parties in there around lunch time! It seems like most of the people that were parked there went to get dim sum, AYCE sushi, or Korean BBQ.We knew what we wanted to order (we normally order the same thing everywhere). We ordered A2. Shrimp and Pork Spring Rolls, I got P2. Rare Steak, and she got P1. Flavor Pho Combination. The results:- A2. Shrimp and Pork Spring Rolls: They come in a pair with each cut in half. Accompanied by the usual sauce with peanuts in it. It tasted refreshing and was pretty good.- P2. Rare Steak: I feel like most people order this as it's simple and good. The soup was delicious. I ordered an extra side of rare steak for more protein :). Good soup!- P1. Flavor Pho Combination: My girlfriend said it was really good and she finished a large bowl plus the spring rolls! That says a lot.Service was good. The man who greeted us and helped us out was always smiling and cheerful. We sat ourselves and was helped immediately.Parking was a little bit of a pain since it was packed due to the other restaurants in the plaza. There's only a few spots in the front of the restaurant, and unfortunately two of the spots in front are for curbside pickup for AT&T (what the heck!).I recommend this pho place if you're in the area!“

“Huong Bac is a quintessential "hole-in-the-wall" eatery that surpassed our expectations during a recent out-of-state visit. Craving authentic Banh Cuon led us to this hidden gem.Despite our late arrival—merely 15 minutes before closing time— the lady welcomed us with open arms, allowing us to place our order. We opted for the #9 Banh Cuon Dac Biet and #12 Bun Rieu, eagerly anticipating our meal in the cozy ambiance of the small dining area. The kitchen was bustling, with the gentleman wrapping what seemed to be freshly made Gio Lua.The aroma of sweet and sour fish sauce wafted through the air, a hallmark of genuine Vietnamese cuisine. The wait was about 20 minutes, as the lady needed to boil water anew for our noodles and steam the Banh Cuon. She apologized for the delay, though we insisted it was our oversight for arriving late.Tasting the Banh Cuon at our hotel room was revelatory. The rice rolls were thin, the batter didn't make the banh cuon "cakey" nor runny, it maintains a delightful stretchiness. The seasoning of the meat and mushrooms was spot-on, with the addition of meat floss and fried onions enhancing the aroma. The Gio Lua boasted a pleasant chewiness without being mushy. However, the real standout was the house-made sweet and sour chili fish sauce—a masterful blend that added an explosive burst of sweet, tangy, and spicy flavors that I fell in love with their banh cuon instantly. As I'm writing this, I haven't had the chance to try the Bun Rieu yet because I was eager to share my exceptional experience with the Banh Cuon. It was so memorable that I felt compelled to write this review immediately. If I ever return to the area, Huong Bac will definitely be on my must-visit list!“

The seafood and wonton were perfectly prepared and tasty. Have to give the wonton a perfect 10. We also had their Hai Nam chicken rice, which was also delicious. The place is so clean, servers were super attentive. This place beats Kim Ky by a mile. Will definitely come back.“

We are promptly served and we were able to order the vegetable pho and the rare steak pho. I thought the pho was very good and the soup was very flavorful. Lots of street parking is available and they also have outdoor seating as well.“

“This unassuming restaurant in the entrance of a supermarket is a hidden gem. Found it looking for Bo Luc Lac in the LA area and found it via Instagram review than made me want to drive all the way from Long Beach and I was not disappointed, as they serve one of the better Luc Lac, tender and well balanced on sauce and pepper. Their medium is more well done than medium so adapt your request based on that. The rest of the dishes are also very well executed, fresh and flavorful. The service is efficient and friendly while attentive.Well worth a trip if you Are not close, you will not be disappointed.Parking: Parking is busy“

“Downtown LA Pho stands out as the perfect spot if you crave authentic Vietnamese Pho right in the heart of the financial district of DTLA. The pho and soup base boast delightful flavors. The staff is exceptionally friendly, providing great service, and the portion sizes are satisfying. However, it's crucial to manage expectations and avoid comparing the food here to the offerings in San Gabriel Valley or Little Saigon area. -1 star for the pricing, but considering the prime location and convenience, it's understandable. I'll certainly return when in the financial district of DTLA and in the mood for Pho.Quick tip: You can find Downtown LA Pho inside the City National Plaza's food court, located on the bottom floor of the plaza.“

“My go to spot for 7 courses of beef and baked cat fish. Here's why:- Great value for a larger group (Last visit medium catfish, 4 portions of 7 courses of beef, and a couple of beers was less than $40/pp including tip)- I always leave full and satisfied- It's usually not crazy busy and they have a good amount of tables ( Last visit walked in on a Saturday night for 7 and there was no wait)- Staff is pretty friendly- 10% off with Yelp check-in for birthday celebrations- A handful of TVs if you need to have the game on while dining- They only charge extra for vermicelli and not for extra rice paper or veggiesTips:- It's been mentioned but call ~45 mins in advanced for the baked catfish so it'll be ready for when you show up- There are three main dipping sauces; super funky fermented fish, more mild fish sauce, slightly tart tamarind sauce. You can mix to your level of desired funk but the peanuts, sambal, pickled lemon grass helps temper everything- It's super hands on food, don't be afraid to ask for help if you didn't come with an experienced diner“

“great food. we ordered phở for a cool late morning & sat outside so it was perfect. this is northern vnese style phở (which is just a little salty for my taste) but I appreciate the clear & not overly spiced broth. it's a straight forward & authentically honest bowl of phở. there are fresh spices, good quality beef & super tender meat fall-of-the-bone pork ribs. so good & so satisfying. vnse coffee (café sữa đá) is also right on the money! btw, for those who need it, you can load the soup up with siracchia & have a perfect hangover-buster ? you're welcome ? service is prompt & friendly - price is decent but not cheap. all in all, a winner for local norwalk & neighboring city. we'll definitely be back & highly recommend pho anvi. we need to keep good businesses around for fellow foodies.“

“This order was delivered by GrubHub and was delivered in appropriate time. The flavor of the pho broth was a little underwhelming and left me wanting a stronger taste. The restaurant does take the time to create an authentic broth but may cut the time short, leading to a lighter flavor. Since the broth can easily make or break a good bowl of Pho, this broth is 4 out of 5 stars, which is great for a regular location. While it's not the best in the area, it still has decent flavor. The chicken was a little chewy and did not soften after sitting in the broth for a while. The freshness of the chicken is questionable. As a frequent pho enthusiast, I was disappointed that this restaurant did not offer spring rolls, which is my go-to appetizer when judging a pho restaurant. This time I opted for the fried egg rolls and I was not impressed with the texture or flavor. Everything in the egg roll tasted old and lacked a desirable flavor. The pho broth container and the chicken &noodles container were both of good quality, as there were no spills in the bag, and kept everything warm during delivery. However, the pho ingredients and the egg rolls were delivered in Styrofoam packaging which is environmentally irresponsible. As seen in the pictures, the container with the egg rolls was either cut or melted in an unusual way. I suspect the restaurant cut the box to allow for venting and to prevent melting. Getting rid of the Styrofoam containers would yield a higher service rating.Overall, not too bad. I'd visit this restaurant again if I'm in the area.“

Shrimp we picked this one because you get the whole shrimp and the head which I really enjoy.Beef loc lac was our closing.Don't forget to get the tea very inexpensive and a great addition to this wonderful meal.“
