“Another wonderful dinner at The Bungalow. We snuck in on the last night of OC Restaurant Week. Peter enjoyed the Corn Chowder Soup, 10 oz. lobster tail with mashed potatoes. And creamy Cheesecake (to go). So amazing. I had the Blackened Salmon and it was perfect. The sauce was Devine and a dollop of guacamole on top were so flavorful. Shrimp taquitos are the start of starters, but Bacon deviled eggs and asparagus fries are great too.The Bistro Plate is a fun sampler type of entree. San Francisco Cioppino is top notch. For a sandwich, give the Prime Rib Dip a go (while it's available each day).Dessert: Warm Butter Cake! A must.House cocktails are tasty. Wine menu isn't very deep or broad, but adequate for what you might want.“

“There are only 14 tables, but the staff were wonderful. The prices demand it but you will get attentive service. And the ambience is spectacular. You get to sit by a dock with water right next to you. It is a very romantic place. They don’t have any loud music which is great. Their wine list is extensive. And with the corkage being $75 may as well try their wines.The cuisine is French, which I love. The scallops were perfect. I did not like the gravy as much as it tasted overly sweet. The pork loin was only OK because it could be more tender and it was a little dry. The brioche bread pudding is good though I make it better. I loved the mushroom soup.“

It was packed in there and almost closing time when we went, but to see all the staff work together and get everyone taken care of quickly and efficiently was cool to watch and experience. “Ariana took wonderful care of us. A++. My food tasted amazing. I had the Chilean Seabass special. The Seabass sat on top of asparagus and sweet king crab legs. Everything was cooked to perfection. Good to share or enjoy on your own!Please do note that the restaurant serves pesto bread when you sit down. Be mindful of the large amount of food if you are not hungry hungry. “This definitely felt like a hidden gem in Laguna Beach. There was barely anyone there, but the food was great, especially when eaten on the beach. It's mere steps from the beach and a little farther to the ocean. Listening to the waves crashing against the sand while eating fish and chips on the patio was like something out of a Jimmy Buffett song. We'll definitely be back if we're in the area.Parking: When we visited, parking was $2.50/hour. Payment kiosks print out a ticket you put on your dashboard and you don't need to enter a plate number.“

“We were in Santa Ana on business, and stopped at Fresh off the Boat Fish Grill the first night for dinner. We went back every night that week for dinner. 4 days we got takeout salads with a couple appetizers. Very reasonably priced and decently sized portions. We tried Greek salad, gyro salad, and filet salad, as well as pita with garlic sauce and cauliflower bites. One day we ate in and we each got Mexican bowl and it was delicious. Everything is fantastic. The homemade salad dressings and sauces are delicious.The staff is friendly, courteous, and helpful. We ate outside one night on the little side porch with propane heaters for warmth and the atmosphere was very pleasant.My husband will have more trips to Santa Ana, and I am positive we will eat here again.“

“We were in the mood for Italian by the beach. Not many choices and the options near water served mostly pizzas with limited pasta options or didn't open until after 4pm. So we found Capone's and decided to try it out based on menu options. We enjoyed the outdoor patio. It was quiet and relaxing. They did a good job with the space they had. The food was excellent! We shared the insalata di Pera, Dino pizza and penne alla vodka with sausage pasta dish. The portion size was good for the price. We also had some cocktails. I tried the Godfather, great flavor! Not really the beach atmosphere we were searching for but we made due and found a fabulous Italian restaurant we'd love to enjoy again!“

The $4 extra for live/fresh seafood is totally worth it. The seafood platter comes with delicious bread, which was perfect when dipped in the sauce! The crispy calamari was delicious (batter wasn’t too thick). The hot stone pho was average. I personally didn’t notice a significant difference between pho in a hot stone bowl vs regular pho. My bf loved the garlic noodles, but I thought it needed more flavor. All the items we got I would probably give 5/5 stars except for the pho and the garlic noodles, which I would give 3/5 stars“

“Such a fun atmosphere and excellent food! Our server Gabriel was friendly and helpful. He recommended the chile relleno and the Branzino and both were uniquely delicious. We also ordered the octopus ceviche for an appetizer and it was tender with incredible flavor. We also shared their homemade soft serve ice cream which was the best I’ve had. We shared this between 4 people and it was plenty of food. We are full, happy, and can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend if you want a great meal in a beautiful place!“

First, Chef Masa is the nicest most friendly Chef there is, and all his staff are friendly and spot on with water refills and quick service. The fish he gets is some of the freshest and best quality out there. For cooked food Try the salmon collar. It's the melt in your mouth part of the salmons neck and cheek, and prepared expertly! Everything I've had, from the fresh oysters, the halibut carpaccio, the Takowasa, and Takoyaki, they spicy yellow tail lover roll and al the sashimi- has been perfect. Can't recommend enough !“
