The charge was finally posted to our account and we were charged the full amount for our original order, even though the receipt attached to our order listed just the items that we actually received with a different total.So I took in the receipt and I politely...and this is important, folks! Be polite! The world does NOT need any more rude people...I politely spoke to the owner/manager about the issue. He was very apologetic and not only refunded me the difference but even offered to comp me some food or a couple of drinks. Now some food would have been good, but I also didn't want to impose on his graciousness, and so I asked if I could just get a Boba Milk Tea. He made me TWO Milk Teas with Boba! And it's pretty good! We will return. This particular issue with our order was the only one that we've experienced out of multiple visits to BMC Pho, and the manager/owner was extremely gracious in resolving it and making sure I left a happy customer.“
“Wanted to try this place since it's in my backyard and surprise to find that their pho is delicious and comparable to some pho places from Westminister. The price is lower than most pho places in 626 but the meat portion is less. It makes me satisfied that I was able to finish the bowl though. The proportion is just perfect for people who just want to feel satiated. The service is great! The man who serves there is always smiling and friendly to their customers. He even explained that they don't put MSG on their broth which is even better for me! If you want to try the Oxtail Pho come early because they sold out at night. Although I prefer their Filet Mignon Rare Steak more than the Oxtail Pho. I hate ordering pho for to go so if you need a spot where it's quick and easy this is the perfect place.“

“The noodle dishes were very good! We had a largish group, so we tried the first three soups on the menu and a couple of the dry noodle dishes, which were all Delicious. The chicken skewers were all bone and not worth the trouble of eating. The lamb skewers were tasty but greasy. I liked the cumin-heavy seasoning a lot.“

Would love to try the same soup with medium spiciness and also tom yum soup.“

“Bowl House is fantastic. Service was on-par and the owners go beyond what you expect. I ordered 34 garlic sesame chicken plates and (some sides for me potstickers with ponzu - awesome, shrimp plate - awesome) - and requested all 34 plates to be prepared by a certain time. Not only was it ready, packed, but William and his wife helped me bring the boxes to my van. All 34 plates were eaten and University of Redlands Mens Water Polo players and coaches. They were super thankful. If I am in La Verne, I would come back to Bowl House. It is in kind of an old town La Verne area where you can park and walk around and visit the local shops. Chicken satay also great with a little bit burn finish, tendered thigh, and the peanut sauce is awesome! However the sticky rice is Soso that the texture is not the best I tried and it doesn't with enough coconut flavour.“

“This place does hit the spot when you are craving some soup. It's a small hole in the wall where there is just 1 cook and a server/cook. The server fries stuff as well if you order anything that needs frying. I like the old man's soup that has a little bit of tendon, beef, and tripe. Little veggies but it is enough for one person. Great on a cold day. Only bad part is that if the server goes out for a smoke, he smokes right by the door and you can smell it inside. They also don't ask if you want anything to drink like water so you gotta tell them if you want anything and not assume you'll automatically get it. Other than drinks, beef noodle soup is good. The tonkatsu ramen was a bit salty but noodles where still good. Will come back for my beef soup.“

My favorite part about pho whittier is the consistency , quality, and the timing. Seriously, the food comes out ridiculously fast! I haven’t try too many Szechuan restaurants in LA, but if this was in great Seattle area, this restaurant would be the top.“
