“Very busy café for the “in-crowd” in the Los Feliz area with plentiful indoor and outdoor seating.Upon staff recommendation, I tried the chocolate chip bread pudding- which was absolutely massive and delicious! Not the best bargain at $10, but I’d say it was worth it and probably could have been shared with another person.There is also a bar in the room adjacent to the coffee shop/bakery, which was also very busy.Neat place to get delicious food and drinks, get some work done, or just sit and people watch.“

“Recommended. I came by. There’s a kiosk to order and a cashier. I ordered the garlic bagel they are known for and the breakfast Becky. There’s an outdoor seating area as well as indoors. They have a merchandise wall in case you want to buy anything. Also a fridge section that has drinks. The kitchen is easily viewable to see what’s going on. The bagel was great. Also the breakfast Becky with its bacon and sauce. I really liked it.“

“I have been a regular customer at Nice for at least five years. Getting my morning coffee here is always a treat, both for the impeccable coffee and for the customer service. The staff is warm, and the vibe is always light, even though they are working hard. They're located in a busy plaza in DTLA. They receive all kinds of customers and treat everyone well, and efficiently fulfill orders. I cannot speak more highly of Nice, the coffee, and the people that work there.“

(She's unfortunately no longer with the company, but wanted to mention her, as she was such a huge part of us wanting to sign on). We were then re-assigned to Kat, who was equally awesome. She helped us finalize all the details of our contract (as we made a few customizations) and ran through the timeline and finishing touches with us before the wedding.Then, on the day of, the team, led by Mila, was phenomenal. “This is actually a review for Homegirl's catering service: I hired Homegirl to cater my book launch at the University of Southern California. Nadine was super easy to work with in planning out the kinds of foods I wanted for my event. Abel did an excellent job finding our venue and setting up a delicious spread. I got turkey sandwiches, roast beef sandwiches, and vegan sandwiches. Everything was delicious on fresh bread baked by Homegirl. We also had agua frescas, hummus, and salad. The hummus was actually so popular that I barely got to try any. My guests ate it all! Note to self: order extra hummus next time. Putting on an event is time consuming and stressful, but Homegirl made the food portion of my event easier to manage. I highly recommend them. They will be at the top of my list for future catering events.“

Tucked inside the St. Vincent alley (which itself is something special for a later review), you'll find a deli market with a nice assortment of Armenian treats and friendly staff who actually helped me pick out my first two items: the house pastrami sandwich and my personal favorite, the Soujouk sandwich. Get this! The Soujouk sandwich is made with this fantastic Armenian sausage, cheese, and tomato on a perfectly toasted French roll that had the right amount of crunchy and fluffy bite. “First time going to pops Cafe, you must go very early to get a table or the wait can be up to an hr. The place is very small but comfortable. Food is decent for the price, except the coffee is overpriced and the children breakfast too. A small cup of coffee $3.50 and children breakfast $7.95, the portion was small, the juice tiny.I had the vegetarian omelette which I forgot to let them know no black olives and was full of it. Also the American cheese on top didn't gave a good presentation. I would rather had pepper jack or provolone cheese melted, but that's my preference. The pancakes I believe were the best, big and tasty, but if you order other than plain butter pancakes you get charged an extra $2.00 (did not disclosed at time of ordering). Would I go back? Yes but I would ask as many questions possible before ordering and would only go with adults, as is not convenient for a family of 4 (2 adults 2children) to go there because is more expensive ($74) than Denny's. Customer service was great.“

The chai latte was weak - 1/5, pretty disappointing for being house made and not able to taste it. I should have asked for them to make it stronger, but they got busier once I realized. There isn't too much seating but there were bar stools with a counter all around (I'd estimate maybe 12 of those bar stools, but actually paying attention to the number of things isn't my strong suit). My drink came out pretty quickly and the person at the register, as well as the person who handed me coffee were friendly. I ordered the Dulce latte iced with almond milk. For me, it's the right ratio of ice to coffee so I was pleased. Normally I order the Oreo donut because I love all things Oreo. The donut/pastry selection looks amazing, so I'll definitely be back to try more. Side note: I came on a Sunday. It was hard to find street parking and the Japanese Village Plaza Parking was full, so I parked at the Aiso Parking garage on San Pedro St between 1st and Temple.“

“Ordered the Oyako Kinpira Gobo. The Kinpira Gobo (Braised burdock root) was very pleasant, a bit sweet and salty filling in this very light and delightful pastry. It's a very good size and makes for a nice snack option midday. This is a small cafe located in the Miyako Hotel with adjoining and separate entrance in the heart of Little Tokyo. This cafe does not occupy a lot of space so seating is limited, good for light conversations or very short term work space. Parking is always a challenge here so be mindful.“

“my girlfriend and i found this place while we were staying in downtown for a music festival. we loved it so much we came back 4 times in a row, including the morning we were going back home. the restaurant is nicely decorated and the servers are kind & accommodating, but not annoying. this isn’t to mention how delicious and fresh the food is, and it comes out relatively quick… we don’t live in california, but we will definitely be back ASAP.“
