“We love pho alley for a quick bite to go. We came in the other night to place a to go order and it took about 45 minutes and most of our food wasn’t very warm, but we would still come back. I just suggest ordering ahead of time. The house pho and garlic noodles + shaken beef are our favorites here. The shaken beef is tender and the sauce is delicious. I love the beef broth the pho comes in.“
“Best $13 lunch I've spent in this post-pandemic high inflation era.Picked up shrimp sampi with salad, and a large portion of salad and two bread stick came with it. I won't be able to believe they gave me the right order until I order it once more.“
“I have tried a variety of items on the menu. A few of my favorites include the Al pastor nachos , caldo de pollo, torta de milanesa and the chicken tacos de canasta. You can’t go wrong with anything you choose. Irene and Jose are both really nice and will accommodate most requests.“
“Wow!! Everything about this place was amazing. The decor, the staff, the food. Can't wait to come back. Galata Turkish Halal Grill is on the corner of Belmont and Nieto. Depending on what time you come free parking can be difficult to find. They provide indoor seating and a few tables outside as well. I came with a friend and were seated within seconds. We ordered the Galata salad, a chicken donor wrap, and a beef donor wrap. To our surprise they brought out a plate of sun-dried tomatoes in herbs and oil with some fresh warm bread to start, so good! The food we ordered was delicious. We both agreed that the beef donor wrap was our favorite of the two. As for the salad, I thought corn was an interesting topping to add but I felt that the flavors went well together. The dates and the caramelized walnuts were a nice touch. However, my friend was on the fence about it. She mentioned it was too lemony for her taste. So keep that in mind if your preference is similar to hers when ordering the Galata salad. The staff had to have been the best part of the whole experience they were all so kind and very helpful when we were not sure what to order. They even gave us complimentary pomegranate tea when we finished our food. This place is a must try in my opinion.“
“First time coming here, we ordered the kimchi fried rice, beef galbi plate, and grilled shrimp plate - it was all soo delicious! Probably the best kimchi fried rice I've ever had, and it had an overeasy egg! I got it to go but it was quick and made fresh. Will definitely be back!“
“I highly recommend this spot for authentic Cambodian cuisine. Our group of four didn't have to wait long and there was an iPad outside for joining the waitlist for a table. There's a variety of noodle options available. We tried the Phnom Penh Noodle Special dry and soup, Beef and Meatball Noodle, Pork Rice Porridge with fried breadstick, and ordered round bread on the side. While the round bread was too dense and hard, the meat bread had too many onions. Despite the rushed service causing a couple of mistakes, the overall experience was quite good, with fast and efficient customer service. It was very hard to find parking there so we had to park in the neighborhood.“
“Spring roll peanut sauce was pleasant. The brisket used in the pho can almost become a tender meal on it's own. Different from other pho restaurants. No MSG headaches. Clean big pieces of meat, soft silky noodles, steamed bean sprouts to prevent soup from cooling too quickly. The only complaint is the hard seats in the booth. You'll know what I mean.“
“Their Naengmyeon stands out with an outstanding taste in both LA and OC. The service is commendable, earning them stars. The servers are knowledgeable, anticipating our needs before we even call them. While it may be pricey, the experience is undoubtedly worth it.“
“The food and service at the new location are just as wonderful as the original location. I look forward to more of my favorite dishes coming over. For now, I am enjoying trying new dishes and the lunch specials are a great deal. The team members are extremely friendly/inviting, and I always enjoy their recommendations.“
“Craving some good and authentic Korean food, I found my way back to Jin Cook and as usual, it did not let me down.ITEM'S ORDERED:Sweet Potato Cheese Curry KatsuSpicy Braised Beef Short RibGarlic SuYukMilitary SoupTASTE:Let me first mention that I'm half Korean to add some credibility to my review :) ;) I will say that the Kimchi here is probably my favorite out of all places. That is mainly because it has a slightly sweeter flavor and less sour than others that usually have that more pickled flavor. I was told that it's the owner's mothers recipe so that just makes it all the better. The Spicy Braised Beef Short Rib aka Galbi-jjim is a dish I've had before and is one of those flavors that just wants to make you keep on eating. The only thing that slows you down is how hot it is with it being in the stone pot. It's so savory, a little sweet and has a slight amount of heat. I will say that I do have a good tolerance for spicy food though. Besides the meat which is so tender, I really enjoy the pumpkin and rice cakes in the dish. Unless you are with 3 or more people, you'll most likely have leftovers.Sweet Potato Cheese Curry Katsu is a unique variation that I don't think I've seen at other places. There's a subtly sweetness that goes well with the cheese, pork, and crunch. Be careful when you take your first bite, it comes out and stays very hot.The Military Soup is one of those really comforting soups that'll make you feel good if you're under the weather. It's actually pretty spicy so be warned. The pork belly that came had a real nice flavor that adds to the dish overall. It was my first time having the Garlic SuYuk and it's as tasty as it is to look at. The pork is cooked perfectly and the garlic paste that it comes with has so much savory flavor, with the right amount of salt. I could really see this garlic paste tasting good on so many other dishes in general. The chili paste is not really hot but provides a slight chili flavor adding to everything else.SERVICE:The service was exceptional. Getting all the warm Korean welcoming vibes at this place just adds to the comfort food feel. They were really friendly and attentive the whole time.LOCATION & PARKING:They are basically located in a shopping plaza with an Albertson's so there is lots of parking. The interior is very comfy and warm with its abundant wood use making for a welcoming ambiance. If you are craving some delicious Korean cuisine you should definitely check this place out.“
“Wow!!!! Hands down my new favorite Vietnamese restaurant. Their beef pho is delicious? and out of this world. I’ve been a big fan of pho ? and have been eating this dish for years just about everywhere I travel to when I’m out of state or in the mood for it here in the city. This is my new favorite spot for pho. Wish I can give them 10 stars because they deserve it.“
“I have mixed feelings about this place. While it has been my go to spot on rainy days this past season, it's been a hit or miss. Sometimes it's like the best pho ever and other times the meat is really undercooked and the broth wasn't hot enough to cook it further which resulted in a rather rubbery experience. All in all, I think I will continue to come back as everything else was enjoyable.“
“I really can't say enough about how good Kashiwa Ramen is; I love it so much I've eaten here several times in the last two weeks. This has to be one of the best ramen spots in OC currently. It originally started in Japan and came over to the States. In terms of quality, it definitely seems authentic.I've tried several items on the menu, and every time, it's delicious. I highly recommend dining in, but even if you order to go, or through doordash, it always comes piping hot and high quality.Today, I tried the Tsukumen, which is hard to find at other shops because it is a traditional dipping noodle where you dip it in the soup. I would highly recommend trying their tonkatsu ramen, although they also have other great items like smaller portion chashu rice bowls, which I swear the meat is so soft and tender. The chashu pork comes out great every time. The soft boiled egg is perfection. Both the straight and wavy noodles are wonderful. They also have a swirl broth, which is absolutely delicious; it's a mix of their pork and chicken broth together. They also have green tea, which tastes really crisp and fresh. They also have chicken if you don't eat pork.Overall, I really love Kashiwa and plan to continue frequenting it. The only critique I can give is that I wish the waitresses would check in on the tables at least once or twice every so often. Everyone is so kind and polite and the service is very fast. Dining by myself, i am in and out in under 30 minutes or so.Thank you so much for the wonderful meals, I plan to continue coming here in the future, and I hope more people come too.Vegetarian options: They do have tofu as protein for all ramen, miso ramen, sea kelp ramen, and other various side dishes like egg on rice.I would double-check with the waitresses to make sure the broth is 100% vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: If you do not eat pork, they have chicken as a protein topping as well.Parking: Big parking lot in a busy shopping center.Kid-friendliness: There are probably not a ton of options for kids, but if your kids are more adventurous, im sure they would enjoy it. I believe I've seen kids eating pretty plain ramen, just noodles and broth.Wheelchair accessibility: I'm pretty sure it's accessible to get in, but it is a small store and pretty tight. You may be able to fit your wheel chair at the counter if you ask.“
“My friend came from Tijuana to visit me ??♂️ and we found this amazing place?? NEW LOCATION, the food is amazing, VEGETERIAN NO PROBLEM i was really happy with the food, service is very friendly and they speak spanish tooI highly recomend this place?IOVE IT“
“I came to Disneyland for the first time and was a bit saddened by the lack of Asian food in downtown Disney. I’m so glad I found Asia foodie kitchen with a simple Google search - walked over from fantasy tower (took less than 20 minutes in a nice area). The house special pho was fantastic and the person who served me was very nice! I would definitely come here when I visit Disneyland again :)“
“I live in las vegas. Phoholic is my favorite pho restaurant anywhere outside of Vietnam ??. Everything is fresh , broth is full of flavor. Sometimes when you come early they have "thit obama" . It's like a minced filet mignon "secret menu" sooo good, melts in your mouth.“
“While visiting Disneyland, I searched for and visited a Vietnamese restaurant.Located next to a shopping mall with Korean restaurants, about 20 minutes away by car.Parking is convenient and very friendly. The food prices are reasonable and above all, the portions are very large.I ordered large and had a lot left over, but ordering regular would still be enough.I recommend the rib rice noodles.Be careful because mix includes crucibles and parts. The taste of the rice noodles is pretty good, but the sweetness is quite strong, perhaps because of the American style. It would be nice to eat it once in a while when you get tired of American food. You can choose between thin and thick noodles.“
“Oh my lanta a came to this place and is amazing I got number 38 and my boyfriend combo grill with vermecille somes rolls nhamiiiiiii soooo goood guys best place ever the service is amazing and the food I had no words to describe how delicious ? it is ? I will definitely come back and the spring rolls are unbelievable so happy “
“The best service I've seen at a Shabu place!I'm allergic to peanuts and eggs, which most Shabu places I've found have not been very accommodating. But Miss Shabu has the most friendly staff as they wrote on the menu notes on what foods I'm allergic to and which ones are good. They were very efficient with setting up our table of 16 and were flexible when we had less people than expected. The food was really good for a decent price. For dinner and drinks and tea, we spent about $50 and got 2 different soup bases, had many different types of sides, and plates on top of plates of meat. Definitely recommend this Shabu place if you were looking for one in Buena Park.“
“The beef chow fun is literally, no exaggeration, the best plate of noodles I've ever had in my life. Not only the kind of flavorful that goes through your whole body, but the beef was tender as butter. The hot and sour soup was also exemplary. I'm kind of a man of habit and it takes a lot to add a restaurant to my regular favorites rotation; Fu Plus jumped to the top of the list and it's likely to stay there. Holy cow.“
“Great place for Hu Tieu in Little Saigon. one of the best spot for Hu Tieu. service is good. restaurant is a relative small place with small parking lot. recommend #1 they come with a soup bowl on the side. their veggies are fresh. nice thin slices of brisket with fresh shrimp . i like their pickled garlic. Price is at the average of the area. I also recommend the corn milk. would definitely go again“
“Green onion pancakes are crispy, flaky, and fragrant. Dry crispy pork spare ribs with spices, amped up with chopped garlic and jalapenos. My favorite every time mala spicy prime beef noodle soup, tasty sauté of mushroom medly with Chinese celery - a perfect accompaniment to spicy dishes and their house specialSpicy noodles for those of us who like it hot! I'm so glad they have good service and consistently delicious dishes!“
“I am never disappointed when I order food from Appu's Cafe. I have tried almost everything on the menu and found it to be delicious, a good value for the price, and always ready on-time when I order online. The staff is kind and pleasant and very accomodating (sometimes I need to ask for the spice level to go down a few levels!). Excellent value all the way around!“
“We frequent this place often. My favorite is The Spicy Beef clear noodle vegetable soup (Yuk Kae Jung) is very god here. Bibimbab is another very good dish. Their food all around is pretty good. Small mom and pop kind of place. Sometime we dine in and other times we order to go. Always good food and never had any issues of the years.“
“This place is an old school Korean restaurant but the food is excellent. As someone who recently moved from Koreatown LA to a gateway city, I had to find my go to Korean restaurant and I think this is one of my favorite places. We like to get the Uhndaegoo jorim (braised black cod). Some of our other favorites are the dahk gae jang, as well as the bohtsahm. The atmosphere is very modest and simple, but this is the kind of place that suits me.I highly recommend this place both for Korean traditionalists as well as non-Koreans who just want some really good quality Korean food.“
“As we landed ANA(Santa Ana Airport), first thing we craved was the Korean food. I managed to use Google maps to search for nearby Korean food, but Soondae(Korean Sausage) caught my attention first. It really wasn’t only the review score, but the awareness level of this place from the locals. It’s conveniently located in H Mart (Korean Supermarket), but it’s well known for making its own Soondae and Jokbal. There are more than 3 options for the size offering and it will fit whether you visit as a solo or with big family.Soondae, not only was it fresh, but its Gan(Liver) was also very fresh! (Talk about being moisty instead of the usual ‘dry’ ones you come across)All the side dishes (Lettuce, Jalapeño, Garlics) were on points and the staff were readily available on spot to re-fill at any given time.I highly recommend for those who have love for Jokbal and Soondae, but also those who are seeking for a new Korean food/menu to try out.“
“First time there 2/8/24, a little wait but worth it. Food came out within minutes, I like the idea of pictures of food menu items. Just tell them your preferences and food will be out less than 10 mins. Korean restaurants always have sides side that are refillable. Great flavor and so delicious.“
“Everything was freshly made, and delicious. Woke up craving Vietnamese (pho ga) chicken noodle soup this morning. Found this place on Magnolia in Little Saigon that serves it up right. The Chinese donuts are freshly fried and taste great with the broth and coffee.????“
“great food. we ordered phở for a cool late morning & sat outside so it was perfect. this is northern vnese style phở (which is just a little salty for my taste) but I appreciate the clear & not overly spiced broth. it's a straight forward & authentically honest bowl of phở. there are fresh spices, good quality beef & super tender meat fall-of-the-bone pork ribs. so good & so satisfying. vnse coffee (café sữa đá) is also right on the money! btw, for those who need it, you can load the soup up with siracchia & have a perfect hangover-buster ? you're welcome ? service is prompt & friendly - price is decent but not cheap. all in all, a winner for local norwalk & neighboring city. we'll definitely be back & highly recommend pho anvi. we need to keep good businesses around for fellow foodies.“
“I love this place! I had my birthday lunch here recently because it's my favorite Thai place in Orange County maybe even Southern California. The place is small, you order at the counter and can always expect good food. Honestly it never misses. The food portions are generous, staff is friendly, and miss loving close to this spot.“
“A soft tofu restaurant located in the Buena Park area of Los Angeles. In LA, it is a Korean restaurant as famous as 'BCD Bukchang-dong Soft Tofu' and is a restaurant where you have to wait. There is a jangseung standing right at the entrance, giving a Korean feel. The interior is spacious, and as expected from a specialty restaurant, there are 14 different types of soft tofu. In addition, you can taste a wide variety of Korean food, including pot rice, bulgogi, ribs, galbitang, kimchi stew, naengmyeon, pork cutlet, and bossam. The food tastes the same as eating it in Korea and is very delicious. There are a variety of side dishes and they are all delicious. In the case of soft tofu, there are as many as seven levels of spiciness, so you can choose to suit your taste. Since the rice is served in a stone pot, it is nice to be able to cook rice by pouring water into the stone pot after taking out the rice. This is a restaurant I want to visit again.“
“Olive Garden is one of my favorite spots when I'm craving Italian food, especially for their all-you-can-eat salad, which is the best part, in my opinion. This location tends to get very busy during peak hours, so coming earlier is advisable. Making a reservation can also make your experience smoother. I definitely recommend it.“
“I had Tabu Shabu saved for a long time because I wanted to try it and I'm so glad I did. My husband and I came here on a Friday night and our server Kathy's customer service was just amazing. She was very attentive and super friendly. The food was so good!! My husband isn't really a big fan of shabu but he loved this place and thought it was so good! Our first time here was 10/10. The food, the service, and the vibes were just on point. We love the owner Dana! Kathy, Everest, Ray and all of the other people that work there were so nice! We will definitely be back!“
“This is a small little place. I tried the chicken feet and egg rolls and both were pretty good. The owners took great care to give me instructions on the chicken feet so that it wouldn't lose its crispiness as I got it to go. I thought that was pretty cool. I told my mother about this place and told her we need to try some catering from them.“
“The pho is about as good as you can get, it was the best pho I’ve had in a while. The Passion Fruit drink is refreshing and appears to be handcrafted, with the pulpy seeds and all, and was perfectly sweet even without an add-on. As a drink, it reminds me of 7Leaves’ sunset passion or peach teas, which also have a sweet, fresh fruit taste. The food has been consistently good, though prices are on the higher side but unfortunately are actually the going rate in 2024. Fast service“
“Great spot for Korean casual / comfort food! For a party of 7, we were left feeling satisfied with the amount of food we ordered. Very affordable and amazing service! We got seated instantly as it wasn't busy on a Saturday night. What we ordered: - 2 steamed pork belly set (bossam) - 1 seafood pancake - sides of rice to carb up - 1 terra & 2 jinro is back to drink! The highlight of our meal was actually the sides. The kimchi and radish kimchi were so good that we asked for multiple refills. We also enjoyed the seafood pancake. Would love to come back and try the soup (tang) as the restaurant name speaks for itself!!“
“A small local business offering Taiwanese food. The interior is older and aged. The parking directly in front can be a problem but there is more parking offered further down into the shopping center. The staff is nice and friendly. We’ve been going here for years and I feel like perhaps they have a new chef because all the flavors seemed off in some way.The menu has a lot to offer so you are sure to find something you like.“
“I dined in this past Friday and place was good. Mostly, the service and food was on point. I was exceptionally impressed with the service. The server that took care of us was very attentive. She took our order and checked up on us promptly. I accidentally dropped my chopsticks during my meal, and even then, she immediately got me a new pair of chopsticks. I believe that taste is most important for a restaurant, but service must be matched to the qualify of good to have a complete experience. This restaurant offered great food and service. The only thing i'd complain about is the cleanliness of the restaurant. The utensils weren't very clean and had tiny debris on them (probably food particles that weren't washed out) and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant wasn't up to par with food and service.“
“Not AYCE but lots of side dishes including cheese corn, poached eggs, another egg dish, bean paste soup or kimchi stew. Very good and attentive service and excellent staff. The unmarinated beef was the best. The chadol was a little tough. But the rice paper, pickled radish, dipping sauce, and salad made the meal delicious.“
“I bring my friends a lot. And people mostly know this place. Can feel pretty decent traditional pho. I'm a regular. My favorite Vietnamese rice noodle restaurant. When I was having a hard time after going camping, I went and ate to cheer myself up and finished packing up my belongings from the camping trip that day... It gets me full energy ♥️ ?“
“Of course, it may be difficult to suit the tastes of many customers, but there are some side dishes that may not suit your taste. The anchovy flavor is too strong in tteokbokki.Soy sauce crab sauce is too sweet...Still, thank you for always making delicious side dishes.“
“I'm not exaggerating when I say this, but this is the best Thai food restaurant around. We order from Thai Pepper 2-3 times a month and the quality is always consistent and delicious. The pad thai, pad see ew, spicy green beans, and orange chicken are a must try.“
“I visited during lunch time and had spicy pork combo (about $20), and the portion is great! My husband ordered a cold noodle(물냉면) & dumpling combo (about $25). Spicy pork was a bit salty for me, but i assume most people would like it (as i prefer to make my own food less salty and greasy at home.) Overall it was great. Love their dumpling, and cold noodles. I wish they offer mode side dishes though. They only have two kinds of kimchi (배추김치 & 깍두기) and steamed cabbage.“
“I went there because I was craving Korean food, and it was delicious! The soft tofu I tried was a bit mild, but the LA galbi was really tasty!Unless you're really hungry, it would be perfect for two people to order the ribs + soft tofu set and add 1 serving of rice.Galbi is actually more delicious than Korean :)“
“I noticed immediately about 80% of capacity at 10:45am (good sign). Lots of regulars. The home made chips and salsa (red) ♥️. I had 3 chicken enchiladas rice and beans $15. The beans are amazing w/melted cheese on top. Service is great. This is a traditional Mexican restaurant family operated. People are drinking beer. Lively music on Monday morning. Lot's of cute kids at tables. Kid friendly ??. I would like more red sauce on the enchiladas. I know these independently owned restaurants are having challenging times w/inflation. Support please!Kid-friendliness: Almost every table had kids enjoying food“
“Đồ ăn ở đây rất ngon và sạch sẽ . Từ đồ nấu chín đến ga thịt sống rất thơm và tươi. Cô chủ tiệm và chị Linh thì cực kỳ dễ thương làm mình cảm giác như rất thân thiện nên rất thích mua ở tiệm này.“
“Ordered pickup (now twice) and tried the tofu pad thai, shrimp fried rice, fried tofu and egg rolls.Everything was great! Could use more shrimp even though I asked & paid for extra. The Tofu was good but the rolls were amazing. I liked that they were thinner than normal. The green chilies in the clear sauce (condiment) were yummy!“
“First time here and it exceeded my expectations. Orderd 2 item mushroom chicken and pepper steak, so delicious! Not a huge fan of the egg rolls because I can taste a bit too much ginger, it's just not for me. I definitely recommend giving this place a try.“
“I've eaten there several times over the years and have never had a bad meal. Great spot for dinner but they are so busy at lunch that you may run into problems if you only have an hour break. Not sure if they are kosher but they don't serve pork. Larb and Crispy Rice Salad are both favorites here.“
“Been here a few times and honestly, for the price, it's a great place to go to when you're craving pho. We usually get the beef steak for $8.89 or the chicken bowl for $7.87, which is honestly a steal in this economy! Bowl upgrades are only $3 more, which I say is totally worth it. The pho tastes so clean and with a deep flavor. Personally, I think the pho is very worth it for it's price; I can't get enough of it. In addition, the service is phenomenal. The guy in the front is always so welcoming and talkative when we come visit - we really enjoy it. Definitely visit this hidden gem when you're in the Cypress area - you won't regret it (:“
