“While visiting Disneyland, I searched for and visited a Vietnamese restaurant.Located next to a shopping mall with Korean restaurants, about 20 minutes away by car.Parking is convenient and very friendly. The food prices are reasonable and above all, the portions are very large.I ordered large and had a lot left over, but ordering regular would still be enough.I recommend the rib rice noodles.Be careful because mix includes crucibles and parts. The taste of the rice noodles is pretty good, but the sweetness is quite strong, perhaps because of the American style. It would be nice to eat it once in a while when you get tired of American food. You can choose between thin and thick noodles.“
“Great place for Hu Tieu in Little Saigon. one of the best spot for Hu Tieu. service is good. restaurant is a relative small place with small parking lot. recommend #1 they come with a soup bowl on the side. their veggies are fresh. nice thin slices of brisket with fresh shrimp . i like their pickled garlic. Price is at the average of the area. I also recommend the corn milk. would definitely go again“
“I dined in this past Friday and place was good. Mostly, the service and food was on point. I was exceptionally impressed with the service. The server that took care of us was very attentive. She took our order and checked up on us promptly. I accidentally dropped my chopsticks during my meal, and even then, she immediately got me a new pair of chopsticks. I believe that taste is most important for a restaurant, but service must be matched to the qualify of good to have a complete experience. This restaurant offered great food and service. The only thing i'd complain about is the cleanliness of the restaurant. The utensils weren't very clean and had tiny debris on them (probably food particles that weren't washed out) and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant wasn't up to par with food and service.“
“As we landed ANA(Santa Ana Airport), first thing we craved was the Korean food. I managed to use Google maps to search for nearby Korean food, but Soondae(Korean Sausage) caught my attention first. It really wasn’t only the review score, but the awareness level of this place from the locals. It’s conveniently located in H Mart (Korean Supermarket), but it’s well known for making its own Soondae and Jokbal. There are more than 3 options for the size offering and it will fit whether you visit as a solo or with big family.Soondae, not only was it fresh, but its Gan(Liver) was also very fresh! (Talk about being moisty instead of the usual ‘dry’ ones you come across)All the side dishes (Lettuce, Jalapeño, Garlics) were on points and the staff were readily available on spot to re-fill at any given time.I highly recommend for those who have love for Jokbal and Soondae, but also those who are seeking for a new Korean food/menu to try out.“
“First time there 2/8/24, a little wait but worth it. Food came out within minutes, I like the idea of pictures of food menu items. Just tell them your preferences and food will be out less than 10 mins. Korean restaurants always have sides side that are refillable. Great flavor and so delicious.“
“I've eaten there several times over the years and have never had a bad meal. Great spot for dinner but they are so busy at lunch that you may run into problems if you only have an hour break. Not sure if they are kosher but they don't serve pork. Larb and Crispy Rice Salad are both favorites here.“
“The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly, the soft tofu stew is absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere is busy, but relaxing. Everything I want in a casual dining experience. Our Server Jessica was fantastic and made sure we were always well attended to.“
“Saturday 3/16/24 Lunch at Hòa Bình Restaurant in Garden Grove with my cousin. Enjoying Vietnamese foods. All the dishes are good; authentic and savory. It’s a nice day out to enjoy good foods and good conversation.David YoungRestaurant Enthusiast“
“This is my go-to AYCE KBBQ spot for several reasons. It’s generally affordable for the high quality of meat. It’s not ~super high quality but I would say it’s on the higher end for an AYCE spot. They also have beef tongue, galbi, and intestines which I consider more premium items. It gets pretty busy so I would suggest putting your party’s name on the Yelp list 1-2 hours ahead of time.My only complaint is the terrible customer service. It feels pretty understaffed which causes the employees to be spread to thin / overworked. Our server takes forever to check back in with us which is not ideal for a KBBQ place where you need to order stuff frequently. Sometimes there are employees who I feel like do the bare minimum and seem like they don’t enjoy working there (don’t smile and are not very friendly).Again, this is a great kbbq spot in general but it can get very busy and service can use improvement.“
“I visited during lunch time and had spicy pork combo (about $20), and the portion is great! My husband ordered a cold noodle(물냉면) & dumpling combo (about $25). Spicy pork was a bit salty for me, but i assume most people would like it (as i prefer to make my own food less salty and greasy at home.) Overall it was great. Love their dumpling, and cold noodles. I wish they offer mode side dishes though. They only have two kinds of kimchi (배추김치 & 깍두기) and steamed cabbage.“
“We ordered both the first and second pho on the menu. The difference between them was just the size. The first one was huge and the second one was smaller but still filling. The pho was delicious and they gave us many beef slices. I was so thirsty when I got there but they charge for water so I ordered the lemon soda instead. I was worried that it would be super sweet and taste very artificial but it wasn’t, it was actually pretty good. My friend ordered the passion fruit drink and I thought it was a bit too sweet. Overall, it was really good and I would love to try their other food.“
“We are not Korean, so this review does not comment on the authenticity but the favor only. The food was SO GOOD!We got the pork bone casserole (large) and the pork hock. The bone casserole (large) came with 10-12 pieces of giant bones, and each had a good amount of meat. For a girl, 2 bones will fill one up. For a guy, maybe 3-4 with a bit of rice will definitely fill one up. The three of us finished maybe 2/3 of the pot.The pork hock is my favorite! I enjoyed the bean sauce and the slices of meat and tendons. This dish is definitely for more adventurous eats. Still recommended for anyone to try.A feast for three came to be around $130. Not the cheapest but the food was very delicious!“
“I never tried pho here but only order pho satay. I just had to give some comments. First pho satay here is good. I order from here and the one at Torrance. The Philippino guy who married the wife there is nice. Anyways, March 28, I ordered two pho satay and asked if I can I can sample pho soup. I tip generous here even though I'm not eating here. She said, you can't try since you don't order it. She said it in a rude way. Probably not going to come here again because of that. Pretty sure she's the owner or related to the owner.I'll just order from the sister side restaurant instead.“
“The food here is really delicious, especially the Vietnamese dry noodles - it goes perfectly with the garlic sauce! The waiter taught us how to eat ~ order a cup of delicious plum soda... OMG ? delicacies on earth ~ remember to order a small plate of fried pork rinds! Add to dry noodles and “
“Did not know much about these specific Vietnamese dishes. Our server was amazing and showed us pictures of each dish and tried to describe the flavors. She even went out of her way to make our experience more enjoyable! Loved it! Will come again!!“
“Yummy and good portion size for the price! The salty lemonade did not taste great though. I usually love viet salty lemonade, but the lemon flavor was not very pronounced here so it just tasted salty with a hint of lemon. The food was great though!! And the food came out quickly“
“This is a quaint little place with a steady stream of patrons. My uncle and I got the #1 on the first page, bánh cuốn đặc biệt. I thought it was great. They're freshly made. My mom got the #3 on the second page, bùn riêu. I tasted the broth and thought it was ok. The customer service was good. The prices are including tax, which isn't that bad if you think about it.“
“Located in the rear side of the 99 cents store.Establishment is pretty small but not rundown.Became a full house of patrons as I just came before the lunch rush.Decent bun rieu soup! You get about 7-8 pieces of snail, 3 fried tofu cubes, 2 crab Patties, & 1 piece of cha lua packed with lemon grass.Too bad no blood cubes included in this bowl of soup.Be sure to request mam Tom sauce "fermented shrimp paste" which adds a lot of umami flavor!Parking can be quite tight around the area and also watch out for POT HOLES!“
“We got here at midnight on a Monday and it was PACKED and now I understand why. The pho was good, but they also have other food items. I got the Eggrolls which hit the spot. And the desserts! My friend got the Che ba Mau which she says was good and I got the durian smoothie was amazeballs because they use real durian! Now I dream of that durian smoothie.“
“Mulnaengmyeon was much more delicious than nonnaengmyeon. I think it was closer to regular naengmyeon rather than Pyongyang naengmyeon. One order of naengmyeon (naengmyeon) costs almost $20, so I think it's a bit expensive, but since it comes with one sari, it's almost like 1.6 servings. The ribs were delicious, but the portion was surprisingly small. Even though it was a weekday evening, I waited for over an hour to get in. When you're feeling a bit hectic, there's a Yelp waiting line, so be sure to check it out and wait.“
